I found my tablet!
Posted 6 years agoHaving searched every individual box in the house 10 times each, taking out everything in the garage which was a lot and looking, checking in boxes I know is its physically impossible to fit inside, checking the old house, all the cars that moved, where do you think it was?
::edit:: It was actually in a place I'd checked before. While just standing around figuring I'd have to wait until I could replace it, I looked over at some breast feeding pillow sitting on top of a dresser headboard and said, what the heck, lets check there again? I put my hand under there into the recessed bottom and just felt the smooth top of the headboard, only it was actually the smooth top of my tablet and I only realized that by feeling for an edge I could lift up on.
I have no idea why it was up there and I also hate headboards.

Posted 6 years agoSo the one thing I could possibly lose during moving and its my GIANT BLACK RECTANGULAR WACOM TABLET. I mean why not right? Its just vanished into nothing. We moved out and checked EVERYTHING in the garage, on the inside, I have no idea where this thing is. I don't mean to waste your time, I'm sorry how much of a delay I'm causing for you, if you want to cancel that's okay. Once I find it I'll get to working on it and I'll let you know.

Moved to new house
Posted 6 years agoI'm a country dog now.. I'll be in a sleeveless t-shirt and a backwards camo hat within the month, dad gummit. Anyway nothing is painted, all my stuff is in a pile in the middle of the floor and I haven't been able to set up my computer so my commissions are paused as is everything else.
By the way if you want a commission, I had a few interested but they haven't gotten back to me so the 3rd + spots are open if you would like to be in the queue. I should be getting everything set up once I finish painting with colors I'm sure to regret.
So about the house, I'm out here in the country, 5 acres where the last owner kept horses but now theres just two wild ducks out there living by the little pond. I've been investing in my set up here, station for my art, getting this room to be a nice place to get things done in. I'm going for a green and wood, almost cabin feel, but right now its just egg shell white walls with junk strewn about and no curtains. So anyone out there can clearly see me doing whatever I do at night with the lights on.
Boy am I tired of lifting boxes and obnoxiously heavy furniture. Oh yeah you got a 3 seater reclining sofa that doesn't fit through any doorway? Oh whats that you got a big glass wood and metal entertaiment center with nothing to grab on to? GREAT! There is SO MUCH moving ahead of me, most of our stuff is still back in washington....
Im gonna crawl out of bed now.

Commission Prices
I will likely stream the commission here: https://picarto.tv/MintyDog where you can direct me, interact and watch. Simultaneously you can contact me through Line, Telegram or FA messages and I will provide updates and ask you too many questions.
I may not take every commission, some ideas I will prefer not to do for my own reasons, if that is the case I may ask you for another idea.
If I receive multiple offers, there will be a limit on which ones I take and in what order I work on them. I work on pieces one at a time and depending on the size of the commission can take multiple weeks, there may be a queue or I may ask you if you're still interested at the time of the previous works completion.
I prefer to work in close communication so there will be no confusion or regrets regarding the outcome of the piece or the time its taken. This is not a business for me, I apologize for being inexperienced in the formal method of handling commissions, am just a Dog, trying my best.
You can look at my past work for an idea of what you can expect OR we can try out a new style and see if I'm any good at it, a little risky sure but will help me grow as an artist to do things I'm unfamiliar with.

Posted 6 years agoI can finally talk about it, my Dad DID win the contest. Not only did he win, but we were first. Votes weren't the deciding factor but those of you who took the time to support my Dad, you helped change his life. Hes going to get total dental surgery, a permanent set of new teeth and will be able to eat again.
I was a nervous wreck when they told us he'd won because they wanted to interview us. I was like OH NOOO you can't put me in front of a camera. My brother and sister both spoke about my Dad on the video and I tried to show how important he was to me in the video editing. So the fact they wanted me on camera was very nerve wracking for me. But when they called, they told us that it wasn't really an interview and that we won first place.

Posted 7 years agoHaven't painted anything in a while, Resident Evil 2 came out, then Kingdom Hearts, then there's all these shows I might want to try out and see if they are any good. I want to start a new painting, no commission at the moment. I've got a few ideas, I want to try things I haven't done before. Got an idea for a body building picture so I can paint a new body type, maybe a smaller emotional piece...but really I just wanna eat Chinese and watch myself become a chonk.

Posted 7 years agoI ate 3 bags of twix. Now I'm playing God of War. I'm confused how Kratos can pick up a million pound solid slab of rock, but struggles somewhat fighting little 200lb monsters and human dudes. He could just throw them into space. Lets talk physics here people.
What else...Oh yeah, I need to lose weight fast. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and my inability to avoid endless amounts of twix has got me feelin a little extra bounce.

Posted 7 years agoI got 6,000 steps on my fitbit in the past 3 hours playing Beat Saber. Its amazing, I mean heres a way to get fit, strap on a helmet and pretend you're that garbage CGI Yoda bouncing all over the place. I basically get C's on Experts but I'm at least beating them, I have a very single track brain, I can't keep track of multiple things at once, so for me to even beat these levels is something of an achievement, perhaps I deserve twix.

Learning a new program
Posted 7 years agoSo I bought Clip Studio Paint after 12 years of photoshop. I'm learning how it all works and fixing all of the bugs. Once I get it all set up and a new piece going I'll start a livestream. I'd livestream right now but I'm not sure people want to watch me fiddling with settings, troubleshooting and arranging panels.
