Episode 93 - Working Title
Posted 12 years agoHowdy there! This is Fuzzy Logic, episode 94, Working Title! (we kinda didn’t make up a name for this one).
Kyo could not be present due to the government shut down requiring him to spend more time stabbing hookers. Isty, Halfwit, and Smokey are still here to prattle on about all sorts of silly and/or horrible things though!
Discussion topics range across a wide array of things. Smokey talks about Rosetta Stone and Chromecast (while blowing out the mic in the process). Halfwit describes a daydream she has from time to time. Isty brings up mention of going to the midnight release of the new Pokemon games, the new Pathfinder game he’s now a part of, then talks about Healthcare.gov for those who might not be aware of it.
Emails follow and we have seven of them! Awesome!
First up, LegionBunny, who is officially one of the baddest-assiest (that… didn’t come out right)… people we know! Seriously! Damn Legion! You scary! He tells us about the relationship he has with his two best friends. We should all be so lucky. Also, Isty apparently never watched the A-Team. Next is Jaye Ventus discussing a bit more about the email he sent last show where he came clean about himself. S’alright dude, we feel ya. Then he proceeds to lay on us a cautionary tale that people can change, and how someone who was once his best friend ended up burning that bridge with him.
Keef comes up next and tells us of a dear friend of his, as well as his desire to start up a podcast of his own! We wish you the best of luck good sir! D’Otter chimes in with a brief message to Umbra about how games come and go. They really do, and his message is indeed sound.
SketchyGenet is next and misses his opportunity to make Kyo cry at the sight of such reading. (Don’t worry, we’ll give it to him to read next time!). Once he has his fun, he moves on to talk about his multiple fursonas/characters and asks advice on how to keep them from all going the same direction.
Jaye returns with a second email, this time about Linkin Park and how a fan should at least give their entire library a chance before writing them off completely. Fair point indeed. Finally Umbra writes in talking about the relationship with his best friend and how close they are. Always great to hear when someone has a person that sticks by them so hard.
Next episode is our Halloween episode! And it’s about FEEEEEAR!! What do you fear? Do you get a kick out of getting scared? Do you have a scary or spookey story to share with us? Write on in!
Jaye’s link to the kickstarter for Savage Divination – A Bestial Tarot. Only 3 days remain at the time of recording.

EPISODE 86 – JOBS!
Posted 12 years agoGreetings and welcome, o listeners of the fuzzy variety… or scaled, or feathered, or what have you! We accept all kinds!
Today’s episode is all about jobs, and we had several emails! Some were off topic, but that’s quite alright! We do not mind in the slightest! We are here to help! We had to record this one a day early due to a scheduling conflict that popped up near the last minute. Our next show should be back on track.
Discussion today starts with Kyo getting a partial fursuit made, specifically the head! Can’t wait to see the finished product! Next we move on to Isty and his tales of automobile air conditioning repair, as well as E3, and some frustration at work due to having to put up with his own noob! Next, Smokey talks about a book he’s geeking out over, “Ready Player One”. It’s the sort of thing us furries would really love! Go give it a read! Halfwit then takes us into the labyrinthine mire that is the federal government by discussing “Prism” and just what it is. You may not like what you hear! Tell your congressman or state representative what you think! But make sure you read up on it and have a properly developed opinion first!
When we get on to emails, we have quite a few!
First up is Legionbunny discussing coming out to someone he grew up in foster care with, someone who he considers a brother. He writes in again later offering another little detail on that, as well as asking if he’s letting his self-esteem issues prevent him from listening to and trusting his friends when they compliment him.
Tigbun talks about possibly moving down to Austin (depending on a few circumstances). We wish him and his wife the best of luck! Keep us updated!
Stratosfear Tully provides some MARVELOUS tips on how to advance a job towards being a career! Fantastic advice from a long-time listener!
Koakai tells us of how he dealt with a job he was rather unhappy with, how a life-changing event in his family gave him new perspective. The entire cast believes it was a healthy reaction and we wish him and his family only the best during this trying time.
Next comes a followup email to one we had read on a previous show. Dente discusses his job situation and requests help in what his course of action should be. We offer what advice we can with what limited information we are provided with, but would welcome more details!
Lone Tiggs provides an account of how he was burned by a good friend, possibly not at all intentionally. He wished for advice on how to approach this and we did our best to help him out. Further assistance can be provided, just reach out and talk to us buddy, even if its on an individual basis between shows.
Ryo reveals details about a job he once had, the horrors such conditions (or at least the commute alone) turned out to be. He also goes a little brony all over us but Kyo refrained from murdering anyone.
Finally, Tygepc provides us with news regarding a growing trend: certain cities have begun banning tipping wait staff in favor of the restaurant owners paying them full wages. Do you think this is a good idea? Write in and tell us why or why not!
Next show will be about money! So you’ve earned some, what now? Do you need help managing it? Do you have advice for those who are having trouble or just starting out? While we’re not professional financial advisers, we can at least give you a few simple tips, get you pointed in the right direction. Write in!
As mentioned above, our next show should be back to our normal recording schedule. And as always, if you have questions or stories to share that aren’t on topic, don’t hesitate to send them in! We love hearing from you!

This is a POWERFUL spoken word poem about being bullied and dealing with childhood trauma. If ever you were the subject of ridicule at an early age, or maybe you still are, this animation, or live performance if you watch the extended anecdote, will empower you to find something greater to strive for, to push away and ignore the hate and harm spouted by those who wished it upon you. Remember, there is always hope, you are not alone, and there are people who understand.

For those dealing with a serious illness or know someone who is, this provides hope. A new breakthrough in medical technology, not quite yet ready for commercial distribution, but appears to be fairly far along. It promises to revolutionize how we fight cancer, tumors, neurological illnesses, and other maladies. It isn’t perfected yet, but it does provide hope. And hope is a powerful thing.

EPISODE 85 – RESPONSIBILITY!
Posted 12 years agoAloha fuzzy friends and fiends! We have for you yet another offering! And it comes with 100% more otter!
One of Kyo’s friends (and new de facto roommate), Kahna, stops by and records with us! Congrats Kana! You’re famous now!
We get to learn a bit about him, while at the same time no doubt frightening the poor fellow. Kyo tells us his word of the week while bonus otter tells us the harrowing tale of how the purple one saved him from a dreadful situation!
Smokey provides insight into the IRS audit, the UK’s progress towards legalizing gay marriage, and how doctors are trying to make fighting cancer a little less scary for kids! All pretty neat stuff, right? Isty regales us with stories of his work as well as an update on the latest weather situation up in Oklahoma. Seriously, what on earth has to happen before those people are cut a break!?
Emails follow with two from Jawbreaker (our first and last emails of the show) about what it was like living with his very religious grandfather while being gay and then again requesting we do a show about jobs. Ryo follows up with a bit more information regarding the upcoming change in his living situation. Next we get Legion Bunny expressing concerns about his physical appearance, how he judges the physical appearances of others, and how he’s a little annoyed with other guys not wanting anything more than one thing.
It was a short show today (well, e-mail wise). Next show will be about jobs! That’s right, Jawbreaker helped us decide what the next show would be about! Do you have a job? Do you need a job? Do you wish you had a better job? Do you just want to vent? Write in! The more experience you share, the more it might help those without said experience! Help a buddy level up today!
If you want to donate to the relief effort for the victims of the storms and tornadoes in Oklahoma, contact the Red Cross to see how you can help. Also check for reputable charity organizations working to provide food, clothing, shelter, and other necessities to those who have been affected. At this time, we at Fuzzy Logic do not have a specific organization we can recommend donating to other than the American Red Cross. We do however encourage you to support the relief effort if you can.

Episode 83 - Ask Us Anything!
Posted 12 years agoHullo! So good to see you again! Yet another casting about of pods in the name of logic most fuzzy!
This week’s first half discussions include Smokey’s National Novel Writing Month project finally coming to a close. Kyo follows up with excitement over the conclusion of the latest season of Drag Race as well as his ex-mother stalker doing her stalkery thing before finishing off with his car blowing up. Halfwit commiserates with her car similarly failing, or nearly so, on her. Isty discusses a story that has been all over the news, the girls in Colorado who managed to escape their captors after roughly ten years.
Halfwit’s word of the week is a darn good one! And it sparks a bit of discussion as to examples of how everyone on the cast has engaged in it at some point!
When we move on to emails, there are nine! But most of them are short. You had some fantastic questions for us!
We were asked why Kyo hates My Little Pony, if someone can have Isty’s skin, what it’s like being a girl in the fandom (aimed at Halfwit), and even why there was the ‘rumor’ that furries and bronies hate one another. On top of this, we received an empassioned email from Legion Bunny regarding his mother. We wish you all the best dude, keep us aprised and we will help however we can.
Someone asked for us to share an awkward moment we each experienced. Halfwit and Smokey briefly mention where they think their #methodhell project is going. We also got a question from a first time fursuit handler wanting to know how to be a good handler. Sorry if we didn’t provide you with just a whole lot of advice, however our friends over at ‘Fur What It’s Worth’ have a great deal more for first-time fursuiters and their handlers to look into!
Next show’s topic will be about getting over it and moving on. How have you done this? Are you currently having trouble with it? Do you have a story you would like to share that could inspire others to keep their chins up? Write in! Next show will be May 22.
Until then… stay fuzzy, my friends!
Don’t forget to vote for us in the Ursa Majors!

Episode 82 – Just Say It!
Posted 12 years agoGreetings and welcome once again, to… whatever this is!
Our first podcast after switching officially to the new recording schedule! Next show will be on May 8th (we said the second in the show, sorry about that!).
This week’s show, Kyo dives into his recent drag experiences, live, not-live, and everything in between! Isty informs us of how his job situation has improved considerably since last time, as well as his new living situation. He even gets into what was a rather unpleasant training experience (thanks… tech support *FROWNY FACE*). Then Halfwit mentions a recent pet peeve of hers, kids who claim they don’t care what people think about them and what a HORRIBLE IDEA that really is! Seriously! Put on deodorant! Then Smokey talks about literary stuffs, but no one cares about that. For those that do, he finished his NaNoWriMo story! He’s editing it now. Also he and Halfwit have begun their twitter-fic! Look up #methodhell to keep up!
After the music break, we had five emails. The first touched on the Boston Bombings and how Westboro Baptist peoples are butts. Next came the writer who told us about his friend who wanted to move to New Zealand in the previous show, and how his friend told him he got everything wrong. He also talked about all the crap that’s happened over the last week or so (Boston, West, etc.) and how we shouldn’t lose faith in humanity. There’s mention of Isty’s new furmeet up in Denton as well! Then, one writer gets ESPECIALLY creative and writes us a poem! Six stanzas to ask us what we think of LARPing! He then wrote in again discussing how he’s having a hard time finding what he’s good at. (Smokey almost died thanks to a ponies reference… sorry Kyo… it was laying right there!). The final email was from Rennec following up on his dad, how recovered completely from his stroke-like event! …and how he has reverted to a “I’m bulletproof!” mentality and we talk about how dangerous that is.
Next show’s topic will be an “ask us anything” show! Got something about us that you want to know? Ask away! We will answer!
Until then… stay fuzzy, my friends!
Don’t forget to vote for us in the Ursa Majors!
You might be a touch confused with this ‘hungry pumpkin’ we referenced, well boggle no more! Youtube Video of ‘The Hungry Pumpkin’ (it’s quite dreadfully made! Check out some of the youtube poops of it!)
Back during Furry Fiesta, we had a Dramatic Reading of Fifty Shades of Grey and it was quite fun! Be warned, not for wee ones. Thanks to Shyloh for recording and posting!

Episode 79 - Family Values
Posted 12 years agoGreetings and welcome dear and venerable listeners. It is I, the blue and grey scaled one taking command of the website for the time being. Fear not, the hare is still very much here, staring over my shoulder, glaring at me as I write. I feel his eyes boring into me like… well nevermind that.
Tonight’s show had nine e-mails waiting, but alas we could not read them all. We attempted to read the most relevant messages, saving three letters for the next show. Our deepest apologies. We do so hate not getting through all our e-mails in a single show.
We begin with having forgotten what this episode was to be called and learning something that explains a good deal about Kyo and how he became the way he became. From there we move on to Pee Wee’s Playhouse, Halfwit letting another lady fondle her to discover that yes… those are indeed real, Kyo using his prosthetic breasts as a melee weapon, and all of this before Istanbul is slain by a gunshot wound to the head. And immediately revived.
Cast discussion involved me explaining a story about the strife my family has been going through within the last week, and all that it meant. Halfwit’s word of the week ‘Aver’ is provided and her topic runs away. Istanbul mentions the new pope, though it seems he has trouble pronouncing it, we have begun his elocution lessons, and then mentions that we have been nominated for an Ursa Major award! I made some terrible my little pony reference and we moved on. Kyo described a video series he intends to start up soon regarding lessons in how to um… ‘werk’ I believe it is… your drag.
When we get to the e-mails, we have five that we read. The first was about a dragon fellow who has grown distant with his parents, which drew out a good deal of discussion. The second was a bit simpler, asking about the appropriate level of swearing which was answered fairly quickly. The third was about a young fellow who was removed from his family at a very young age and has only just recently been permitted contact with them again, struggling to connect.
The music break came forth and then the fourth message was read, discussing a longtime listener whose father had a minor stroke. Our sympathies are extended and hope to hear he recovers fully. The fifth letter was quite long and delved quite deeply into the dynamic between him, his father, his mother, and between both parents. Again, our sympathies for struggling with such unpleasantness. The sixth and final message was about a listener who had grown distant from a sister he had once been close with. He wanted to know if he could mend the relationship or if it was a lost cause.
A lot of very good, very deeply insightful e-mails we wanted to read very much. As mentioned, we will read the other three next week.
In other news, as mentioned on the show, with the upcoming move and relocation of ‘Fuzzy Logic Headquarters’ may bring with it a few changes. We will do our best to keep the core of the show unchanged, but we may have to change the day we record, and how frequently we record. When things change so drastically, it is sometimes necessary to alter the dynamic a bit to make sure those involved do not become unpleasant or too work-like. We are considering opening a Google voice phone number to accept voicemail. We are pondering interviewing guests when possible, to help add something new to the show. Other ideas are being considered as well. More updates will be provided as information develops.
As mentioned, our show has been nominated for an Ursa Major award for best magazine! We thank you all for your support and your kind words. Please, follow the link below to vote for us!

You will have to log in in order to vote. Spread the word! Share the love! Infect your neighbor!
Next week’s episode will be about travel and vacations, not necessarily furry conventions, though we are happy to accept those, we would like to hear about other trips you are planning, you would like to take, or that you have taken in the past. As always, please try to have your e-mails in by 6pm, central time. Write us, tweet at us, watch us on Fur Affinity, rate and comment on iTunes. We adore feedback!
Until next time, we thank you for your time, dear listener, and I do apologize as it seems I was a tad long-winded both during recording and during this summary. So sorry about that. I shall stop now before I get all British and overly apologetic. Oh dear, it’s too late, I’ve gotten all.

This week’s music break:
Linkin Park – Bleed It Out, from the album Minutes To Midnight

Episode 78 – Stinky
Posted 12 years agoWelcome to Coughcast! Smokey and Istanbul are still trying to shake off the con crud, and the latter has partially lost his voice, so this week’s podcast sounds like a bunch of chain smokers. And yes, this relates to why the show is slow to release this week. Sorry about that! We chatter about Willy Wonka, Smokey shares news on his story-in-progress, and Smokey and Halfwit discuss their new projects. Istanbul talks about the upcoming move of Fuzzy Logic HQ (along with the rest of his stuff), and Kyo shares his story in club-land from hell!
Then we launch into our e-mails, and things get a bit real. One listener shares his stories of loss and asks for thoughts on coping with grief, another talks about dealing with razor burn, and yet another swears to Jebbus (Jebus’ big brother?) at us and then asks the cast about their hygiene issues. We have a discussion about lies of omission and how to explain furry to your family, mention is made about one listener’s less-than-satisfactory experience at Furry Fiesta, and we get an update from MandaKatt about her incredibly slovenly roommates. We even get Neybulot writing in about a ride situation similar to but different from the one mentioned in the last episode!
Next week’s topic is all about family struggles. If you’ve had family, you’ve doubtless had struggles with them, those people who are inextricably linked to you. Write in if you’ve had (or are having) family struggles, or if you have advice to share with them; we’re always eager to offer and receive help on our topic of the week, or any other!

Episode 76 – Unleashed
Posted 12 years agoTime for our last show before Furry Fiesta! No Kyo this week, as he was afraid of infecting the rest of us with his illness. Istanbul starts the show by ruining everything (per usual), but then we move on to discussing Smokey’s computer problems, and a few related topics like being wary of credit cards and what you should do when you first get a computer. Istanbul gawks at the Superbowl and mentions the power outage (power outrage?) and the Beyonce derp meme that’s begun to spread, and Halfwit goes into how you can tell certain things about people from how they speak, things they might not be intending to say!
Before we get into e-mails, Halfwit talks about some quiet time, but then it’s right into the content you’ve all sent us! There’s an e-mail from Kyo’s vagrundle about the madness of living in Nebraska (all apologies to any listeners who hail from it), the difficult transformation from romance into friendship and how to get over someone who’s just not that into you anymore, and a brief discussion on Twitter and how to handle NSFW feeds; a few options are given, so if you’re also in this situation, choose the one that works for you! We finish with the cast sharing stories of their past pets, and things get a little sadface now and then, so keep those tissues nearby!
Next show is at Furry Fiesta LIVE! No show on Valentine’s Day! Sorry, you’ll just have to do without us in your ear-holes for one week. Now, as for the Furry Fiesta LIVE show, that’s all about addiction! Things you just can’t do without, whether it’s a physical addiction or something more mental, or even emotional! Write in, we want more e-mails to read live…and if you’re going to be attending Furry Fiesta, come to the show and see why we always say this show needs facial expressions!

Episode 75 - Trashed
Posted 12 years agoIt’s Episode 75 of Fuzzy Logic, starring three Istanbuls and the gonch of the Yukon! Yeah, this episode is kinda like that. We even finish our music break with a game of Tetris this time, in ways only Fuzzy Logic could play! Before we get started on our e-mails, Halfwit shares her word of the week and her story about the prom, we have a new Cultural Sandwich quote, Istanbul rants about people who don’t understand their own opinions, Kyo talks all about Sharon Needles and how well she’s doing on the charts, and the entire cast riffs on the recent situation in which an Applebee’s waitress was fired, with diverse opinions shared by all!
Once e-mails begin, we get a listener’s advice on Ryo’s home situation – keep in mind, we don’t mind if you offer advice too! – and another message on wasteful regrets, along with the irritant that is TL;DR. There’s mention of work-generated waste, human and otherwise, and how hotel conventions differ from others, along with advice on RP techniques and explanations of previously-mentioned bands. We’ve got a great mix of on and off topic e-mails this week, needless to say! Marcus Noble gives us a job update, there’s a bit of concern about lie detectors being used in hiring practices, and we talk about the work-to-live, live-to-work mentality and why it’s your choice how you see things!
Next week’s topic is all about pets! You know, those creatures you take care of. Or, maybe it’s about ‘pets’? You know, those creatures you take care of. Whichever one you choose to write in about, or even if you have something else to discuss, drop us a line!
Also, REMEMBER! We need your e-mails about addiction – or anything else you want read there – for our live show at Furry Fiesta! Remember to mark your e-mails with “LIVE SHOW” or something to that effect so that we don’t accidentally read them beforehand! Speaking of ‘beforehand’, our next recording will be on Thursday, February 7th…and the one after that will be on Friday, February 22nd. There will be no recording on the week of Valentine’s Day, as we’ll all be scrambling like mad trying to get our last-minute business done for the convention!
Music: Of Blood and Holy Water from Castlevania from OC Remix: Tha Sauce

Episode 73 - Songbird
Posted 12 years agoIt’s time for our musical episode, and we start it off with a bang with what can only be called a cavalcade of classical LOL that sets the tone for the episode right off the bat! We discuss Halfwit’s new name – we’ve just got to get her a badge for it – and Smokey goes all vidja on us, informing us about new systems from Nvidia and, of all people, Steam! Halfwit makes mention of the poor weather the cast had endured, and Istanbul drags the cast down by mentioning a local child whose parents were actually so strict that their disciplinary measures wound up killing him! Finally, Kyo brings us back up by talking all about Furry Fiesta! It’s less than a month away at this point, so next week, we’re going to tell you our topic for that show so that you can send in e-mails (and hopefully attend)!
Speaking of e-mails, once we get started, there’s all sorts of stuff to talk about! Everything from a second mention of Fuzzy Notes to David Tennant in drag to…well, to nothing, as Debbie Downy seems to have fallen off of the internet! Sorry! One listener talks about being affected by music, while a previous writer elaborates on his home life and asks for help getting out of it. Richter the Absol checks in with us after three long months, the ‘I only like one kind of music’ myth is largely dispelled, and a long-time listener tells us about his awful schedule issues. At the end, the staff all share their musical tastes, and you get to hear just how diverse they are in opinion; seldom is a name mentioned twice!
Next week’s topic is all about sex and romance. Finding that right person, wooing that right person, and what you do when things get a little more intimate than a first date and held hands! Write in and talk to us, get that advice in time for Valentine’s Day – it’s just around the corner! (Can you believe it?)

Now Live! Episode 72 - Literati
Posted 12 years agoIt’s time for Episode 72, and we have good news and bad news. Good news: Kyo is back, yay! And he even has a report on his trip to Virgina – and New York, with its tiny tiny apartments, as it turns out – to share with everyone! The bad news is, Istanbul is dead. Well, dying. At least he sure sounds like it. Sorry about the coughing over this week’s episode; action is being taken to fix this! Anyway, the entire episode starts off with original musical content generated by the cast – yes, more of it – and goes on to introduce Railrunner, Smokey’s cousin who is a train fan and a ‘foamer’! Istanbul talks about the new generation of Pokemon slated to release later this year and gives this week’s Istanbul’s Words That Sound Dirty But Aren’t, and Halfwit…well, she can’t remember what she was going to talk about. Ah well!
Once the e-mails get going, we’ve got lots of author and book recommendations, suggestions on how to develop your plot and deal with writer’s block, and other things too: one listener has good luck with parents understanding his sexuality, while another isn’t sure if he should tell a parent at all. Two listeners write in about the very full year that 2012 was for them, and one listener asks for help in figuring out how to get away from a toxic home situation. Even the cast chimes in on the writing issue, since almost the entire cast either writes or has written at some point in their lives!
Next week’s topic is all about music! You know, that thing where you jam a bunch of noises together (and maybe some words) and it sounds all pretty. Write in and tell us what you like, who your favorite artists are, any songs you prefer, how music affects you…and hey, if you have any songs you’d like us to use for our music break, send ‘em on in! We’re always looking for more!

Episode 71 - Progressive
Posted 12 years agoOops! I was already an episode behind ^^;
Here is the most current episode and the topic for this week!! - Da Fawx
Welcome to Episode 71! Kyo is still out on vacation – okay, most of him is – but we have his vagoo here with us to pontificate! In this week’s episode, Smokey rants about bad video game guides, Halfwit discusses womens’ rights in India, Isty talks about not ripping into people at their workplace, and Mitch talks about his crazy roommate…and Isty reveals that he’s looking for a new roommate come April! There are a lot more shenanigans, of course, but that’s, well. Let’s call it a highlight reel, shall we?
Once we get into e-mails, we go all over the place; that happens when you get eight mails! Good show, people! We’re happy to hear from you! We discuss everything from phlebotomy to the ability to commit to creative works, self-appreciation to life hacks and relaxation…the list goes on and on! Making room in your life for school, alcohol and the damage it can do, one person being pulled back from the brink, there’s a lot to talk about – and we do! Even the cast chimes in with their various advancements, with varying results.
Next week, we’ll be talking about literature! Things you like to read, things you like to write, your favorite authors, everything from roleplay to novels to fanfiction. Write in and share your words with us!

Episode 70 – Take It Easy
Posted 12 years ago*Pulls the wrench out of the gears and gets this thing started again*
Hey there listeners this is the fox again! The boys, and halfwit have given me control of posting content to our FA page since apparently they are so busy ;P So now you get to hear from me MUHHAHA.
EIIIITHER way...here is the episode
Welcome to our 70th episode! Can you believe it? We’re sans Kyo this week, as he’s off visiting his folks, but there’s still a lot of bizarre stuff to be had. We’ve got gangsta board games, a critique of Total Recall, a horrible prank, and the three present members of the cast share stories; Smokey discusses his trip to Shreveport and dealing with his family (and an extended family member being irresponsible), Halfwit tries and fails to get to work thanks to being frozen over, and Istanbul shares a story about some crazy person at his job and how not to get the police involved in your marital squabbles!
Once our music break finishes – and it’s a classic, folks – we’re on to our two e-mails! Don’t worry, we understand, the holidays get a hold of all of us. All sorts of methods of relaxation are mentioned, ranging from a good book and a hot back to carving dudes up in Skyrim (although Smokey does follow up with two games that can be highly frustrating), and one listener writes in with a fairly comprehensive guide on how to deal with stress…including venting and coping, so it’s even on-topic! The cast all discuss how they relax and deal with crazy people, and a good time is had by all.
Next week’s topic is advancement. Are you better off than you were a year ago? Have you managed to keep those resolutions you made? Do you need a helping hand in accomplishing your goals, sticking to them, or even remembering them? Drop us a line about these or other topics, we’re here to help!

Fuzzy Logic Episode 46 - Moist Throb
Posted 13 years agoThis week's episode is pretty massive, fair warning! We run a little over an hour and a half this week, with the last 30+ minutes taken up by a single topic! Before that, though, we start of with horrible mental images, one cast member's experiences with the National Geographic Taboo special, space shuttles and concerts, cell phone etiquette as it relates to the restoom, a plea to allow the professionals who work for you to do their jobs in peace, and Kyo's word of the week (which is apparently one letter long)!
Once the e-mails get rolling...well. Istanbul says the goal is seven, but only four get read. First, we discuss Abion's string of atrocious luck; if you know this man, wish him your best, he's got a rough deal! We hear from Kodyax about the topic and what kind of porn he likes, we hear from another listener about his out-of-control mother and try to offer what advice we can...and then, IT HAPPENS. A three-page colossal e-mail about gay marriage that gets Istanbul pontificating, Halfwit anecdoting, Smokey emphasizing, and Kyo raging! This is the longest the podcast has ever hovered on one topic, and boy, is it a doozy. Brace yourself!
Next week's topic is all about relationships. What your relationships have been like in the past, how to repair a damaged relationship or get over a broken one, how to find a relationship with someone special, what you look for, and all manner of other aspects of the idea. Send in any stories or concerns you have on this topic or others, we're here to help!

Fuzzy Logic Episode 45 - The Mighty Schlep
Posted 13 years agoThat’s right, it’s time for the old heave-ho, dragging ourselves through our assorted occupations. But before we get started, boy, do we have some discussions for you! Unfortunately, we have no Smokey this week; he’s off eating tape recorders to recover his sound powers. Instead, we have buttplug erosion, Istanbul’s “Words That Sound Dirty But Aren’t”, The Book of Faces and its crumbling, Kyo on the Disney channel along with his illiteracy (physicality!), Orange Techno, MTV and filming furries, and a host of other bizarre topics!
Once we get to e-mails, it’s a follow-up frenzy, and we make up for lost time! We discuss a listener’s sexual frustration and desensitization via injury, the importance of family vs. smoking and the failed foster care system, perception as reality and phantom limbs and trolls (all in one e-mail!), Kodyax’s heritage, how to discipline your kids, and we even have a long-awaited update from Lone Tiggs on his (now-former) horrible work situation!
Next week, we’re going to revisit yet another topic from our earlier episodes that we think deserves another quick ogle: porn. Pornography! What do you like, where do you like it, where do you get it, where do you keep it, are you looking for some, do you need help hiding it, are you addicted, and so on! Write on in and share your experiences and questions!

Fuzzy Logic Episode 44 - UR MOM LOL
Posted 13 years agoYeah, you heard us! And your dad, and your…everything, really! We lead off with a series of yo momma snaps, followed by discussions of Squirrelking Appreciation Day, Halfwit’s word of the week, losing weight, a few people that have been taken from us, North Carolina (it’s a state!) and orange juice drama complete with techno! We even give Kyo a long-delayed valentine, much to his, uh, delight?
Once the e-mails get started, it’s a whole different kettle of fish. We discuss parents who have stopped being parents, embarrassing parent moments, an update on one listener’s father’s crack-addict girlfriend, a new listener who gives us an update on three previous topics and discusses a relative with no manners, and we even discuss a bit of potential sexual dysfunction. Fuzzy Logic After Hours!

Fuzzy Logic Episode 43 - Nerdgasm
Posted 13 years ago(Why do I keep missing these? I'll explain later.)
It's nerdgasm time, people! Fair warning: Kyo and Halfwit had both been drinking before the show, and you can tell! We get Smokey's word of the week, a rant about the improper use of the race card, the ending of RuPaul's Drag Race spoiled for all and sundry, and other such magnificent gems as a colossal Gary Coleman in Drag and what would happen if Julia Roberts and Beeker (yes, the muppet) had a kid. Yikes!
Once we hit our e-mails, we discuss all sorts of nerding out. Aquatic animals, role-playing games, sports, kung fu movies, Final Fantasy, music, books...you name it, someone's nerding all over it!
We also discuss getting out of an ultra-conservative environment, drug-addled housemates, the pain of living in Ohio, and Metroid Other M and how it irritates the cast. Kyo is so far gone that this week, we even have a stand-in. Are you ready for Sassy Isty?
Next week's topic is all about parents. You know, the people who made you what you are today...literally! Do you need help getting along with them? Are you trying to tell them something and you don't know how? Are they just insane in the membrane? Write in with any questions you may have, that's why we're here!
Incidentally, over the course of the podcast, there's discussion of what a vagina looks like to a gay man, as well as a mention of a Crayon Dragon video. Hit up our website for the links, they're worth the look!

Fuzzy Logic Episode 36 - Know Thyself
Posted 13 years ago(Ooooo, I been bad. Sorry about missing the last few FA posts!)
That’s right, it’s already time for Episode 36! We’ve got unfavorable comparisons of Kyo to Grimace, a quick English lesson from Halfwit, how to contact someone appropriately, a Big Trouble in Little China reference, a fake pause, and that’s before we even get into our six e-mails! Within said e-mails, we have discussions of how to ‘come out’ as a furry, Twilight-induced insanity, dealing with bullying, how to get a social night together, how to quit an abusive job, how to keep from seeming too enthusiastic, and an update on Frost’s situation with his folks. Finally, the podcasters open up and explain how they see themselves!
Next week’s episode is something a little more fanciful than most. Three wishes! What would you do if you suddenly found yourself in a position where you could make three wishes that could come true? The only stipulation is ‘no wishing for more wishes’, because OMG cheating, and that totally removes the entire point of the podcast. What kinds of changes would you make to the world if it was a matter of just giving the word? Write on in and let us know!

Fuzzy Logic Episode 32 - Free Admission
Posted 13 years ago(Sorry for the lateness!)
Our thirty-second episode is up and ready to go! We opt to forego the usual intro, as it just wouldn’t be the same without Smokescale…plus, we’ve got three e-mails this week! We go into topics such as differing ideologies and tolerance, basic phone manners, and a case of parental neglect – a different one, this time! There’s also discussion of the fate of Smokey’s butt, Furry Fiesta shenanigans, our presence on iTunes, Anthrocon’s hotel registration (and why not to stay at the Omni), burning sensations, politics, and a lot more random madness!
Next week’s topic is about LOVE. Sure, we’ve covered this once before, but it’s the episode right before Valentine’s Day, so we figure it’s worth another look. Having trouble with the mate? Looking to find one in the first place? Someone making advances on you and you’re not sure how to handle it? Drop us a line!
Finally, don’t forget: we have a live recording at Furry Fiesta in just a few short weeks, so we need to start building up a backlog of e-mails! Start sending us e-mails with [FF] in the subject line if you want them saved for the live show!

Fuzzy Logic Episode 31 - Mini-Me
Posted 13 years ago(Sorry for missing the post on Episode 30 - my bad! You can still download it at the site!)
It’s that time again, boys and girls (and everything else)! Sorry about the intro getting interrupted, but you can expect a lot more “no” if PIPA gets put through and/or SOPA is revived and snuck through when nobody’s looking. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance, after all! We’ve got three e-mails this time, though two are from Sclariqrevk; remember, all of the rest of you are allowed – even encouraged! – to e-mail us with your issue! The last is from a listener whose brother is having a really rough time of things. Lots of doors have been closed, but we try to pry open any possible venue to help! We’ve also got a rant about drama vs. conflict, our word of the week (this), Harry Belafonte, Final Fantasy, 2-D vs. 3-D, icecapades, Obama’s state of the union address, and other various and sundry items!
Next week’s show is going to be something entirely new. We’re going to be doing a show about confessions. All e-mails will be completely anonymous, and we encourage the usage of services like gmail and Hotmail to create new accounts through which to send us anything you want to get off of your chest. As usual, we’re also perfectly willing to field any requests for help or other topics. Remember, we want to hear from you – you ARE Fuzzy Logic!
Also, we will be recording our first LIVE episode of Fuzzy Logic at Furry Fiesta this year, on February 24th at 9:00p. We want to invite all of our listeners to come and join us, and we want you to send us e-mails to read on the show; if you want us to save what you send for the live show, just include that in the subject line!
Finally, Kyo should have us live on iTunes sometime over the weekend; come Monday, check for us!

Fuzzy Logic Episode 29 - Man in the Mirror
Posted 13 years agoWe’ve got our Kyo back! For this week, anyway, as he’s off to Further Confusion next week…but then he’ll be back! There’s a variety of topics to discuss, ranging from Sclariqrevk’s smooth jazz e-mail to meta-resolutions to un-filtering one’s behavior and how to deal with irritating weeaboos! We discuss Bucktown’s shows, taint-hole spiders, Kyo’s home disaster, the cast as Wizard of Oz equivalents, and various and sundry other we-don’t-even-know-whats.
Next week’s episode is all about that most adult of topics, sex! Are you having difficulties with the mechanics? Want to know the best way to get your relationship to that next level? Just want to discuss the matter as a whole? Send in your e-mails and we’ll help!

Fuzzy Logic Episode 28 - Squid Tidbits
Posted 13 years agoIt’s our second of two Kyo-less shows, and we’ve got a lot to talk about! We go into detail about Smokey being formally added as a cast member, valuing the people around you, nice-but-irritating people, inconsiderate dorm roommates, and where our new listeners came from (hi there!). We also discuss the Three Stooges, smooth jazz, the cast’s assorted elements, obscure movie quotes, and other various and sundry madness. Join us! Jooooooin uuuuuus…
Next week’s episode is all about resolutions. We’ll be recording on January 5th, so you’ll have a few days to break those brand new resolutions! What have you resolved to do? What do you need help accomplishing? Are you still working on resolutions from last year? (Hey, it’s not that uncommon.) Write in and let us know!

Fuzzy Logic Episode 27 - Fuzzy Ogic
Posted 13 years agoThis is the first of two episodes wherein we’re missing a Kyo – which may be for the best, since he’s going to KILL US ALL when he gets back – and we’ve got five e-mails to read! Everything from relationship woes to health issues, from computer brands to writer’s block, we’ve got your back! This episode opens with a reading from Smokescale of his own original – VERY original – work, and we’ve got Istanbul’s horrible word of the week, the origins of Justin Bieber, Smokescale’s credits as a nerd, and other assorted malarky and nonsense!
Next week’s topic is…open! That’s right, it’s been quite a while since we had an open topic week. Sure, every week is technically open topic week in that we’re here to help you with any problem you may have, but we’re going to see how it goes when we don’t include a topic for one week. Write on in, we want to hear from you!
