About MFF - I still can't sleep.
General | Posted 8 years agoI can't sleep right now..... (combination of the pain/swelling on my bottom right cheek/jaw when I had dental procedure done two weeks ago, the headaches I have related to it and concerns about my department at MFF)
My concerns and worries at this moment. I'm worried about us (the Volunteers department) getting enough time for gophers to signup as gophers for this convention. To learn the new Volunteer RAMS system that was created for me, show it to my three assistants and three senior staff. It is not the only concern I have at this moment, What does my department do if I can't get a hold of the Director or Assistant/2nd/3rd in a particular department ? I know I'm not a Chairperson, Board person or Lead with the amount of experience that many of them have. Just trying my best not to leave any departments without any support in the form of gophers/volunteers. I greatly feel like a burden to the whole MFF convention with the amount of physical (stomach/neck/back/effects of LBP/two dental procedures and now complications from them), emotional (the mourning of Quasi and Takaza passing, 1st anniversary of my Uncle Joe's passing, 10th anniversary of Titi Nadine's passing, 8th anniversary of Great Titi Rosa's passing, other family members/family friends/friends anniversary of there death, what happened in my hometown of New York this year (the terrorist attacks), in Houston/Florida (Hurricane Irma and Maria) and Puerto Rico (Hurricanes Irma and Maria) not doing my part fully/effectively.

If you want to "C ME" this weekend come to Operations will be located in the Ronald Reagan room, which is on the Lobby Level of the Conference Center (Look for the large round glass ceiling). Why I don't enjoy Halloween anymore. -.-
General | Posted 10 years agoBefore late 2007 I enjoyed Halloween greatly. I was able to find costumes in my size easily. For the past 8yrs that has not been the case at all for me. Since....late 2007 I have not been much into dressing up for Halloween. This all due to my rapidly abnormal weight gain (due to pretty much being on medications Risperdal and Abillify - which lead me from being pre-diabetic to type-2 diabetic in a short time). I see costume stores (in person/online) barely having anything for a person that is 2x - 3x. It is frustrating/very discouraging/depressing to no end. Especially since I want to do these cosplays, even my own personal fursona and fursuits (of my personal fursona/Gadget Hackwrench/Rainbow Dash/Applejack/Derpy Hooves/Yoruichi Shihion and Holo).

About a concern I have for a long time.
General | Posted 10 years agoI've been thinking about writing about this for a long time now...... Let me ask you all a question. I would like an honest answer from each of you.
If I were to do something bad. Would you still condemn me for it ? (Publicly online and in person treat me as if I don't exist or look down on upon me, treat anyone around me in the same way (even through they have nothing to do with this). Just because they are associated with/to me)
The reason why I am asking this question, is because someone that I know STILL CONTINUES to treat in these ways (even through what I did happened over 12 yrs ago). (That person knows) I've every year busted my ass working at MFF as a Volunteer and now all the way to my current position as Co-Director of Volunteer/Information department.

I've been looking for a while two copies (one for getting it signed by Jason David Frank aka: Green Ranger I/White Ranger/White Ninja Ranger/Zeo Ranger V - Red/Red Turbo Ranger I/Black Dino Ranger at the 1st Wizard World Madison next month and the second for play/display) of MMPR 20th Anniversary Green Ranger S.H. Figuarts.

I either find it sold out or the price is higher than $50.00+ now for that figure. Time is running out for me to get this figure for WWM coming up. I really need to find this. I don't know of any other places online that might still have this (at affordable price).

I am considering in making a PMV parody of one of my favorite girl groups of the 90's/Best selling female group of all-time: "The Spice Girls". What should I call the group in the PMV ?

[ ] Suggest a different name.
[ ] Unsure.

I'm trying to sleep in bed last night,about 5:00am CST I start to cough and smell smoke from the floor of the carpet under the bed. Then I get up start walking towards the bathroom,smell smoke from the walls. I figured maybe...I should see if it's coming from the front door. Low and behold the same smell is there too. These fucking neighbors of ours in the building (either across the hall or one door next to us or the bottom corner apartment on the first floor) are always smoking at all hours of the day. It's colder now...I have to turn on the ceiling fan to move the smoke smell from aggravating my allergies (sinus and skin) and making me cough more. We told and asked the landlords if they could tell our fucking rude asshole next door neighbors to stop with the god damn smoking that it's effecting me all the time. >:( We're still waiting to see that about that. >.>
I know people have a right to do what they want in there own apartment (that including the fucking smoking) but this matter of one's health. I do not want suffer from second-hand smoke and it could lead to cancer of some sort. I want to so bad go to these apartments bitch them out,snatch the cigarettes to either break them in half or shove it up there fucking nose or to quote The Rock "SHOVE IT UP THERE CANDY ASS!" Then they'll finally see how it feel to deal with that god damned smoking smell they do all the fucking time.
Are some of you going through the same problem ? How did you deal with it ?

Can I commission you three to make a model sheet reference for this fursuit maker to go by when making the fursuit ? If you need description and images of the character let me know.

General | Posted 14 years agoFor almost a week now my right inner ear has been bothering me to the point that it's difficult to listen through and feels clogged up at times. Not sure if it's an infection or my sinuses all screwed up or swimmer's ear. Going to go either to Dean Urgent Care (if it's still open) or the emergency room at St. Mary's Hospital. I honestly...can't take this pain anymore. :'(
Broken left little toe and lost toenail. >.<
General | Posted 14 years agoAround last week on Monday I had accidentally stubbed my left little toe against a metal CD case that was set on the floor nearby the bedroom door. I was in a rush around 5:45pm to go eat dinner,hit myself against that case. Let's just says I was in a bit of pain for the next few days. Here comes about Thursday night/Friday morning the lights were low in the bedroom,I wanted to get something to drink in the kitchen. I had forgotten about that case,when I re-hit that same toe again but this time I couldn't move it at all and the pain was greater this time.
Pouncer came back to hear me crying in pain as my toe swelled up into a miniature Jalapeno and the nail looking bad to the point that it felt like at any second the nail will fall off. >.< He had to help to take this poor mouse to the hospital. I get there to go through registration,didn't even have to wait five minutes at all as the nurse came in to get me. They the story about what happened. The doctor comes on in and says that it looks bad,but St. Mary's hospital doesn't X-Ray toes anymore. I said are sure ? I remember back in the day when hospitals would X-Ray anything. I was sure surprised. All I could do is put on a shoe (for when people break there foot),ice,Ibuprofen or Tylenol,watch,wait,elevate the foot and rest.
Sunday night/Monday morning the nail fell out started to bleed greatly dark red blood. After about 25-30 minutes I was able to stop the bleeding for now. There must have been a blood blister behind the nail when it got it originally but when it got re-injured nothing happened at all until about a day and half later. :P Now...there is just a big hole where the nail use to be. :( Toe is hurting much more,currently it's throbbing so much that I had to take Ibuprofen for it. I hope this doesn't get any more worse. :\ Otherwise it's another trip back to the emergency room or to Dean East - Urgent Care to have it looked at.
::yawns:: I'm so...tired right now. This mouse needs to rest again. Nights everyone.
