here with some news on Mother Monster - and some changes to the club.
For the MTV Music Video Awards, Lady GaGa will be covering Britney Spear's song, "Circus" As part of a tribute to the singer.
Britney Spears and Lady GaGa are also planning a collaboration, according to reports.
Lady GaGa and Cher are recording a duet called “The Greatest Thing.”
Lady GaGa originally gave the song to Cher to record, but then the two of them decided to sing it together. “The Greatest Thing” will be included on Cher’s upcoming album.
Sources say Lady GaGa has finished Recording the song.
Make sure to stay tuned and be aware for the Gaga/Cher collabo, which will premiere later this year!

General | Posted 14 years agohello fellow monsters, this is club president, back with some news on Mother Monster and her new album, "Born this Way", which is now set to be released MAY 20 that's right kiddies, in just four more days, GaGa will be releasing her much anticipated album, and to help make the wait a little bit more tolerable, she's realeased two new singles (the first 2 being Born this Way and Judas.) Her new single, The Edge of Glory, contains several qualities similar to that of electro-rock and dance-pop musical works. Other notable features of the song include the use of synthesizers executed in a style heavily influenced by smooth jazz, and the use of a saxophone solo. The solo was performed by saxophonist Clarence Clemons, a prominent member of The E Street Band. Inspiration for the song came from the death of Gaga's grandfather, who passed away in late 2010. The song is notably upbeat and anthemic in contrast to the darker nature associated with many songs in Born This Way, as it features a number of influences from contemporary pop and jazz music of the 1980s and 1990s.

Her second single, Hair, was just released today, which sounds like if it has more jazz elements in it along with piano pieces, and is a pretty damn catchy song with a retro feel to it

2011 News! in GaGa style!
General | Posted 15 years agohello everyone, this is here with new info on GaGa, and her upcoming album, Born this Way, set to be released MAY 23, 2011
On July 9, 2010, Gaga played a new song entitled "You and I" on the Today Show's Toyota Concert Series. She said it was from the new album and "has a different sound than the album." The confirmed track "You and I" has been added to her Monster Ball Tour, but she has said the entire album does not sound the same as that song. The album is intended to be "the anthem for [her] generation for the next decade."
In an interview with BBC News Gaga commented on the album stating "The album is a marriage of electronic music with major, epic, dare I even say, metal or rock 'n' roll, pop, anthemic style melodies with really sledge-hammering dance beats. It's finished and all, it's just fine-tuning everything. It's kind of like the post-operative stage of the album. I've already done the full heart surgery. I'm just sewing myself back up again. I think that lyrically this album is more poetic. It's really written by the fans, they really wrote it for me because every night they're funneling so much into me. So I wrote it for them. Born This Way is all about my little monsters and me, mother monster."
"Born This Way" will be released as the album's lead single on February 13, 2011. So far 3 songs have been confirmed, You and I, Born this Way and Edge of Glory, and she will be performing Born this Way at the Grammys.
