All written history has been lost before a great calamity, a biblical level flood, which has covered all the world's landmasses in devastating amounts of water. Whatever borders there were, whatever alliances, hatreds, all was thrown away in the face of human survival. As the waters continued to rise, swift construction of glass domes commenced. Many of these domes were faulty, and, unfortunately, all animals and man inside were lost.
Those that did survive were forced to look at alternative methods of survival, as the aquatic wildlife became hostile, ramming the glass domes, many more lives being lost as some of these settlements were crushed under the pressure of the ocean. Testing began, an attempt to mix human and aquatic dna, a concept once thought of, and refused for "Actions against God" were now a necessity, if humans wanted any chance of survival.

There were many failures as testing proceeded, unwanted mutations, complications converting water to oxygen through gills, among many other issues. Fast forward many generations, when only a few civilization domes were left, and the first hybrid human successfully survived, a child of German decent, dna mixed with a smooth hound as a developing embryo, an act of desperation, which became the basis of all future development.
Not long after, a dome which housed mainly refugees from Hawaii and Jamaica broke ground with similar tests using Moon Jellyfish dna. This, however, had complications, and was altered by mixing different breeds of Jellyfish dna.
Off the coast of Asia, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese scientists achieved the same results with Manta Rays. Africa, however, achieved, possibly, the most interesting results. Taking to legends of the fallen Atlantis, they sought to recreate the Mermaid....and succeeded.

Hundreds of thousands of years later, and the glass domed civilizations lay empty. All hints of their former humanity now a distant memory. The different aquatic humanoids lived, fairly peacefully, all sharing a similar origin story. The oceans rose, and life returned to the sea. This lasted some time, till, as it does, history began to repeat itself. The oceans receded, and giant landmasses broke the surf. This development was the driving force between two different events, a global war for oceanic supremacy, as well as creatures returning to the surface, and their development.
The Triton were the first race to build an army, claiming the territory in the southern half of the world, The Jewahi claimed the western oceans, The Sharkish, the north, and the Mantay, the east. The first to rise against the Triton were the Jewahi, defending their seas ferociously. As they were pushed back, they seeked refuge with the Mantay, who had been fighting against Sharkish missionaries. Together, they defended Mantay lands from both fronts.
However, the Triton quickly proved their superiority, merging the religious Sharkish into their ranks, leading an assault on the Mantay, giving the Jewahi a proposition they had no choice but to accept. Turning away from their Mantay benifactors, they closed their eyes as innocent Mantay were slaughtered.

Now with only pockets of resistance, the Triton placed their banners the ocean around. Mantay are rare, due to their race never finding a true home after the aggression against their people. Sharkish happily travel with packs of Triton, shepherds of flocks of fish, eating their choice before the Triton distribute whats left to the rest of the ocean's inhabitants. The Jewahi, due to their agreement, and shame, never crowned another queen, and became the working class.
Still, even with reduced numbers in the ocean, food was scarce, and eyes turned to the large landmasses that had sprouted up and out of the ocean. Slowly, but surely, life expanded it's reach to the shores. However, what greeted them was unexpected. Civilization was already growing on the continents. While the oceanic dwellers fought, and died, the creatures that had found land before them had evolved naturally, some even expanding out into the stars.

Hello all. I have some exciting news.

Tomorrow, I will be giving some information about a new race that I am developing with Crimson Acanthus. I am developing the history of the race, as well as the world they live in. I can't really give much information about the race itself quite yet, but I WILL be giving a bit of a spoiler about the world, which will kind of give a bit of a tease for the race itself.

The world has, at some point, been flooded, to the point of no livable landmasses.

I am looking forward to giving more information, however, I will be updating the race and world on Crim's discord first and foremost.

It has been some time since I wrote a journal entry, over a year. I had said back then that I would be updating my journal as a kind of diary, writing about what was happening in my life, my thoughts on everything, ext. The problem that arose for me was, I was still super depressed, and I just clammed up every time I tried to write about how things were going.

I'm happy to announce that, I am doing much better, I've finally snapped out of my depression, and I'll be going over some of the major things that have happened to me over the last year. Pretty much none of it is flattering, so, it will seem like I'm self deprecating on most of this, but that's not the intention, I'm simply catching everyone up to whats been going on. Remember as you read this all, I'm doing MUCH better now.

So, before I can get to what I've gone through the last year, I feel a recap on why I was depressed needs to be touched on, and that goes back about 2 years. My wife, of 5 years at that time, partner of 8 years, mother of my child, left me. She and I are still married now, but our relationship is over, she's just stayed married to me for varying reasons, taxes are easier, we were both worried about what would happen to our son, mostly reasons of our son. It was all so bad that, like the bad father she thought I was, I packed up and left, not only town, but state, got a job moving houses, and I sent her some money every paycheck, once I had gotten back on my feet. I did come back, I'm an active part of my son's life now, and we've all forgiven each other over our past issues.

On to the last year. I had been working temp for a pet food packaging plant, I've since been hired on full time, promoted to operator (Fancy word that means I watch the line to make sure everything is working as should be). I just celebrated my 1 year anniversary there last month on the 22nd. There have been ups and downs, I've struggled a bit, because the entire notion of the job fights against my social anxiety (I can have anywhere from 3-9 other people on my line, not including the 3-4 that generally come over to check things out, and the fact that I have to tell all my workers what they should be doing. I'm getting better at it, but some days, it's still hard to break out of my shell.) and my lack of attention (I was diagnosed with ADD as a teen, which we believe was a miss diagnosis, my sister and my son both have Autism, so I believe that I may have a mild case of that. More on this later.) and the paperwork messes with my dyslexia. However, I've gotten to a point now where, even though I'm one of the newest operators, I've got my bosses coming to me to let me know that I'm one of their best. While this is a huge boost to my confidence and ego, it brings it's own set of misfortunes, more on this later.

When my ex left me, she was pretty quick to jump in with another guy, she's always been a bit quick to move on, she's been hurt by guys a lot more than I've been hurt by women, so she's had to learn to move fast, and keep her heart steeled. Well, this guy started off pretty good for her, I even gave my consent that the two could ignore the fact that she and I were still, 1, freshly broken up, and 2, still married. He seemed to treat her right, and it looked like she was happy....then he started acting like a brainless fool. He brought another woman into their relationship (My ex was not happy, but went with it, to make him happy.), then he started getting abusive. He broke a TV, Computer, multiple furniture, including a table that was a memento from her deceased sister. By this time, I had come back to Kansas (That's where I live, middle of bum fuck nowhere), and started to see the signs of his abuse, a bruise here, overuse of makeup here. She and I had been trying to fix our friendship at this point, and she was trying to help me get moved out of their old apartment, and into my own. When he found out, he tried to beat her, threw a chair at her, leaving a huge bruise on her arm, and the chair had wrapped around her body, and came super close to hitting her neck. I guess it's important to explain why that's an issue, my ex had cancer when she was 6 months old, and the radiation stunted her growth. For ease of time, and not remembering words correctly, her spine, just at the base of her neck, is oversize compared to the rest of her spine. If that gets dislocated, broken, ext, it could lead to instant death. Something about the weight of her skull crushing down from lack of support. Back to him, this was the last straw, her father and I ran him out of town.

So, back to the apartment, which my ex tried to help me get into, I got moved over, I helped her pay off the back rent of the old apartment, which I refused to pay for the last month, so I could save up the money for my own apartment in the same complex (The entire situation was a bit complex, but basically, I was working part time for the place I'm working at now, and I wasn't able to do a whole lot of days for varying reasons, so I was paying for food, diapers, wipes, and $475 in rent, off just a few days a week of work. Thankfully, I got the full time job right as I was moving). So that all gets sorted out, and I'm there for pretty much a year, I only just moved to my current home about a month ago, more on that later. So, no excuses, other than, I was super fucking depressed, and I couldn't really function, I had a very hard time cleaning. The house filled up with trash, mainly pizza boxes, dirty cloths littered the floor, my son threw dirty diapers on the ground, pretty much hiding them so it took me hours to even find them. I wasn't in a good place, I wasn't a good person, and I was more than happy to just rely on the crutch of, my life is hard, I'm so unhappy, I'm depressed....and people let me get away with it. My weight sky rocketed till I was about 300 lbs, the house pretty much only got partially cleaned when there was a planned inspection, the people around me complained about it all behind my back, while giving me words of encouragement to my face. Then we got gnats.....like, a lot of gnats. Swarms of gnats that, you open your mouth, and end up swollowing a ton of them. Thats when my head snapped back, and I started getting shit taken care of (Full disclosure, this was also an ultimatum from my landlord, get it cleaned, or your out, but I was already working on it when she came to me about it.). So, Pizza boxes out, cloths put in a trash can that acted as my cloths hamper, dishes thrown away, except for a few necessity things, which got washed and put away, vinegar traps set up for the gnats. Things were looking up, my landlord wasn't happy still (She had just lost her husband to cancer, so I don't blame her for being on edge and testy, plus, a full year of me being a shitty tenant.), but she saw I was making an effort to fix my life and get things fixed up in the apartment...then we found the bed bugs. At this point, there wasn't anything she could do, and my lease was not renewed.

Before I go onto some better things, I need to also mention something else that happened in the middle of that year in the apartment. My ex got with another guy, again, he seemed like a good guy, he was former military, discharged honorably, developed a twitch and a stutter, some forms of ptsd, but overall, he seemed really good for her and our son. Things went well there for a long time, till he wanted to bring 'his dead brother's son' to live with them. He started making plans to bring the kid over, without ever consulting my ex (I'm a firm believer that any decision made should be agreed on by both sides, or at least, a middle ground met.). Come to find out, the kid wasn't his dead brother's......his brother wasn't even dead. He was planning on going to his ex wife's home, in the dead of night, and kidnapping HIS son. When we found out, we pulled my ex aside (I went, because she needed to know how serious it was. I had stayed out of her business up to that point, so me being there was a, hey, this is a problem, and it needs solved now, situation) told her, asked her what she wanted done, and she just said, "I want him gone." We had plans to get his stuff packed that night, and take him to the bus station, hand him some money and send him on his way, but he found out, packed his things, stole my ex and my son's phone, smashed another TV, and was gone when my ex got home.

So, onto current events, I'll break this up into at least two segments, one for my house situation, and maybe my job situation, and the other for my ex and son.

Starting with my ex and son, She's doing much better now, she reconnected with an old friend, and they've been, albeit slowly, as both have been hurt quite a bit in the past few years, getting closer. They are living together right now, and his son comes to visit. (They are looking for a two bedroom house to rent so they can move his son in full time.) He is quiet, but, unlike with the other two, I can see in her eyes how much she likes this guy. They get along, have many similar interests, and, after some quick study on him, he doesn't seem to have much of a shady past. He's great with our son, his son adores our son, and he, again, slowly, is trying to meet me half way in us getting some time to just chat. (I want to get to know him, if he's going to be around my son a lot, I want to get a first hand on his personality, ext. Plus, if my ex and I are ever going to fully fix our friendship, it would help if her current man isn't worried about any ulterior motives from me.) As for our son, he just started his first year of elementary school. As I mentioned earlier, he has autism, and he was taking classes for the last two years as a pre-k, but those weren't full days. Even now, he doesn't get the full day in, but he's learning so much. Where he didn't do much in the way of writing, he can now write his name and up to 10. He's making tons of friends, and his teachers love him. He and I spend the weekends together, my work schedule doesn't let me have him at night, and his school schedule doesn't let me have him during the day, but we are getting by, enjoying the time we have together.

I left off the home situation on a pretty bleak note, my lease was not continued, which sucked, but, I was able to find a house, not apartment, to rent for the same amount I rented the apartment for, it's bigger (Still one bed one bath, but it also has a basement, garage, and a huge yard), closer to the school, so if I wanted to go watch him play at recess, I could just go there (First few times I'll probably have to explain who I am, I haven't been much of his school life this year, so they might not recognize me). We are close to a park, so I can take him up there on the weekends. Generally, it's a lot closer to everything in town, and, it comes with a washer dryer, so I can do a lot better job of cleaning my cloths. (When I was at the apartment, it was either carry the cloths for about a mile to the laundry mat, or hand wash them. You can probably tell by my living situation at that point that I was just going to work in dirty cloths. Thankfully, my boss is super attentive to his workers, and he knew I was going through shit.) Better space, a lawn I can actually work with, a garage for when I finally get a car, in a nice, quiet part of town (Even when the high schoolers, which is across the road from me, get off, it's still super quiet.). It's definitely a great starter home. My landlords haven't raised any fuss with me, anytime I ask if I can do something, they are ready to let me (Had to put a whole in the wall and door for an eye lock so I could keep my son out of the basement, and asked them about leveling out a spot in the yard next year for a pool.) Work, like I said, I'm currently one of the better operators there, I'm told time and time again that I'm one of the only ones they trust to get my paperwork right, and they tend to send me new people to train them, or troublesome people to get rid of them. I've got a bit of a personality of, you love me or you hate me. those that aren't a good fit for the work, they tend to be the ones who hate me, and being stuck on my line for a few days, they tend to just leave of their own accord. There have been a few I've had to get wordy with, the most recent one, I told "If you want to be lazy and not do the work, get the fuck off my line, and leave the building.". He's been a fairly decent worker ever since. I learned that he works best with his GF, and she can kind of keep him in line, so I worked with them, Put in the effort while you're apart, and I'll always try to finish my day with you two together. This has worked out so well, that I've started keeping all the couples together, telling them the same thing, and we are starting to really get our numbers up. I also said that, being one of the better operators had its downfalls. Let's talk a little about "workplace politics". The basic concept is, if you know the right people, if you are friends with the wrong people, It will effect where you end up in your job. This is, in a lot of ways, fact. Sure, there are some varying cases where someone is just that good of a worker, that they can make it to a place far higher than expected. Part of this, however, is how good they are in their current position. A person who is good at their job is great, but, if they are the best, or one of the best, and the rest are pretty shit....don't expect those that are best to get a promotion when the time comes. If you are ever told "You are one of our best", then expect your supervisor, hiring manager, whoever might be in charge of you, to do everything in their power to keep you right where you are. They can say "Oh, you would be the best choice" for a position, but because everyone else can't be trusted with their jobs, you aren't going anywhere. That's where I find myself right now. I'm one of the top three operators (All three of those operators are just now going on 1 year, outpacing workers who have been here for 10+ years), there is an opening on two different shifts for a Quality Assurance position, and, as of writing this, no word on who is getting the position. However, an off hand comment by one of my bosses, as I was passing by, "I don't think anyone is getting those positions, [hiring manager's name here] is to picky." leads me to believe I'm not getting the position. Which is fine. I'll have other opportunities, and not getting the QA position just opens me up to getting a lead position, and maybe eventually a supervisor position. Will I be overly hopeful, like I was with the QA position, no, but not fully pessimistic. I believe that I'll go up in the company, if for nothing else, than for my sheer will. I don't know how far I'll go, but the sky is the limit when you thought you would just be a useless bump on a log, and are already far beyond that.

So after a few days of being bored, and not wanting to play games, I've decided to try running stories again, maybe try and get some money from it later. For now, I'm just going to work on some stories for Kay and Liru, as they are the closest thing to a couple I have in my character list.

Whatever your reason, welcome. This journal is going to be pretty lengthy, as there's a lot I need to catch up on, and there's going to be a bit of self pity in here, so brace yourself.

So let's start with the fact that I'm going to be changing my profile a lot. At the time I'm writing this, my name is Gaitsu Lore, who you can still see in my gallery. When I can, I'm going to be changing that name to Kay Zen, again, you can see him in my gallery. I'm going to be testing out different things for my profile, to make it look nice, instead of the blank canvas I've had for years.

The reason it's taken me so long to do any journals, and even why I've been so slow to upload any of the characters I've commissioned or adopted, is because my life has gone through a lot of changes, see my journal Changes for a full rundown, but the short of it is, my wife and I split. Because of that, I moved states, twice, been jumping from one job to the next, trying to find a more permanent home, all while still struggling with how to be a father to our son, and not rip her and her new man a new asshole.

Thankfully, things are starting to look up. Events happened, which I'm not going to divulge, that brought me back to the state I started at, I've now got our old home, as she moved out, I'm spending more time with my son, and I'm working fairly steadily.

On a downside, I have had to give up a few things, for example, I had two Youtube channels, which I planned to work on some more, however, I've decided to let them die, as well as my old twitch channel.

I started playing Final Fantasy 14 on Exodus server, and I'm one of the leaders of an FC (The games version of a guild) with around 30 people in it, one of the larger small FCs. (I'll be posting up our logo later. If you'd like to join, just send me a note, and I'll see what I can do.)

Some friends and I are trying to figure out how to get a group Twitch channel going, we have some ideas moving forward, but we need to make sure we can all connect and play.

Again, not sure if anyone even reads these, but if you do, here's another update on my life. I'm not asking for anyone to come running to comfort me, just need to vent.

My partner for 8 years, wife for nearly 5, and mother of my child for 3 and 1/2 years, has decided that things aren't working between us. Last night, I confronted her on something stupid, which ended up being a joke of her brothers, and that led into a conversation where she said that she's a different woman from the one I married, and she isn't in love with me anymore.

She and I talked multiple times yesterday, and it all ended the same, We can't fix it this time. I'm not going to lie and say that everything is fine, because this whole thing broke me really badly, but she and I are trying to end things on a good note.

This DOES have an impact on things I was working on for here. I've been working on a story, which I've been teasing as CQBB, which was going to be a depiction of our characters living out a life. I will not be finishing that, because it will just drag out the pain that I'm feeling. That means I will be attempting to give away or sell some of the characters I had purchased for the express reason of putting into the story. If I can't get permission from the original artists to resell them, then I will be looking to trade.

Hello, to anyone who still checks out my journals. I've been away for quite some time now, due to issues I needed to sort out, but I'm back.

A quick note, I had to cancel the work on The Murder of Kaleb Winchester, due to the same reasons I had to step away for a while. The story is still being created by one of the winners of the slots, So the project will live on in that, however, I have no involvement in it anymore.

CQBB is still ongoing, in fact, I'm going to start jotting down some rough draft editions of the start, so I can decide what I like best. While there will be parts of the story that are 100% clean, because of the Adult undertones of the story, I'll be marking the entire thing as Adult, as I'll be linking to the next chapter, as well as the previous chapter, and the first chapter as well, in case someone comes in midway.

I'm working on a few new character designs, and still saving up money to get some of the older ones ref sheeted, so expect some, if slow, progression.

So, I've been watching the artist,  Beleththorn for a while, and have even got a few of her adopts in my gallery. While looking through my submission notifications, I happened upon the above link, and enjoy the thought so much, that I just had to share it.

So, the short of it is, you give her permission for one of your sonas, she offers up an auction to win a date with your sona, which you get to set the rules for, and then, once the bidding is done, the highest bidder gives their ideas for the date, Beleth gives you those ideas, and you get to decide which of those ideas works best for you and your sona. She will get all the money for the auction, and you get free art of your sona on their date.

Aside from the free art, there are of course the benefits of meeting someone (Potentially) new, and the satisfaction that someone out there liked your sona so much, that they wanted to spend time with your sona.

Kaleb Winchester, Owner of the Fluffy Tail resort, brother, bachelor, murdered!

During an event he threw to celebrate the resort's newly legalized ways, someone murdered him. There are eight suspects, each who knew Kaleb quite personally.


Hi everyone, I'm Gaitsu Lore, and I'm going to make cut this short, because I don't have a lot of time to explain the whole plot. I'm looking for 5 people to take a role in a story I'm writing, which I hope to have finished before Halloween.

Each character will take the role of one of the seven sins, or rather, that their sin is their motive for murdering poor Kaleb Winchester. Once I have everyone, I will secretly assign you a number, and randomly generate who will be the killer in this Clue inspired who done it.

 penguinbiter and I are working on Coffee Queen's Bunny barn really hard. I'm still working on the sneak peak, but we had to do some talking to decide how we wanted things to go.

We have a very general idea of what her character looks like, which we'll be using to get a full on ref sheet done, and I know what my character looks like, I'll be working on getting his ref sheet done sometime after hers (To many commissions going right now.)

But I guess I'll take some time to explain what the base story of CQBB is about.

Kyzin, a former human, witnesses a tragedy, and is placed in witness protective services. They decide he's safest in an alternate earth filled with furries. He spends years learning the history, and getting over the lose of his former girlfriend, before roaming the agricultural planet looking for stable work (Not as in horses)

Eventually, he starts working at the Bunny Barn, which is roughly where the story starts. The barn is owned by PB, a woman who has recently lost her husband.

Things go awry, and the two have to find a way to keep the BB from going under, while also finding a way to afford new staff. The effort both put into it eventually leads to them falling for each other, but that's later in the story.

I'd tell you more details, but we would like to keep some of it secret till we get it all worked out for sure.

Ok, so my wife,  penguinbiter is working on her character, PB for the story, Coffee Queen's Bunny Barn. I have a sneak peek at a later chapter in the works right now, which I'll hopefully get up on Monday.

The story for  faunathekitten is back off hiatus, I've pinpointed the source of the mess (I broke Fauna's character which round about broke my character trying to deal with her, and the end result was a disgusting mess) Again, hopefully up on Monday.

So, the ref got done, really happy with it, will most definately go back for more refs from  julievee

But back to business.

The story for  faunathekitten is on hiatus because as I was typing up the end, I couldn't help but feel something wasn't right, both with how I was portraying Fauna, and with how Gaitsu was reacting to everything. I'm going to take a small break as I try to pinpoint the exact issue.

As for the story for  penguinbiter , I have a lot of ideas that I'm typing up, and some more characters to get ref pages done for, but the first chapter should HOPEFULLY be up this week, now that I'm off of work.

The commission from  julievee is looking SO GOOD! I'd love to show everyone, but I haven't payed her her, so I can't. You'll have to trust me, it looks amazing.

I commissioned  julievee to do work on a ref sheet for Liru, my main OC's gender swap, and I'm really happy with the progress so far.

While the image sent to me still has work that needs to be done, it's already looking better than the entire Ref Sheet I had done for Gaitsu, which was only $15 usd I believe. I'm still getting two more views, and the end price is only coming up to $30 usd for me (Got really lucky, they agreed to do it for a bit cheaper than they originally planned).

By the end of this commission, if the quality holds up, I'll have a ref sheet potentially worth three of Gaitsu's Ref sheets, with the added benefit of one of the views having her clothing, so I'm excited to see what else Julie does.

I decided that I needed to get some of my character's bios out, so I'm working on that for a while.

I'm also trying to decide on how to end the story I'm writing for Fauna, because what I started didn't make any sense.

Working on two stories. If these turn out well, I might put more time into writing. The first one I'll be putting up is going to be a short one, but the second one will be a lot longer, probably spanning over a larger time.

Hey everyone, been a while. Just an update for my past stuff, while moving forward.

Gaitsu fails at art was a flop, I only did 2 episodes before giving that up, it just didn't feel right, and I'd rather stream myself drawing and gaming, so I'm saving up for new desktop and recording equipment.

Anyway, moving on....I'M WORKING ON NEW OCS! Before, I had two OCs, Gaitsu Lore, and Kayla, a Rabbit and Jellyfish respectively. Well, I was working, and a huge torrent of ideas came rushing to my head. Lots of new OCs just popping into existence, without any way to record any of them, cause I was trying to get a quota done.

Anyway, I'm writing down as many of the character's as I can remember, so that I can start working on them. Some of the ones that are coming are completely new, while others were originally made for RPs I did in the past, and a large number are coming from when I used to Larp (At least 5 of those are coming over, possibly more if I can remember more details and switch them over easily.)

So yeah, expect more characters to pop up here and there, in varying stages of completion.
