✦ Commissions T.O.S. ✦
General | Posted a year agoBy commissioning me and paying the invoice sent, you agree to abide by the terms of service as written on this page.Artists Rights
•I reserve the right to post and display the images I draw as I see fit. Exception to this rule requires it being agreed upon beforehand to keep the commissioned piece private.
•I reserve the right to use rejected sketches for future works and YCH auctions.
•I reserve the right to refuse service or cancel a commission to those who are rude, cannot communicate what they want drawn, repeatedly request extensive alterations or have been known to charge-back commission payments.
***If cancellation by the artist is enacted during the sketch phase, the commissioner is entitled to a complete and total refund of funds provided.
***If cancellation by the artist is enacted after the sketch phase, the commissioner is entitled to a refund of funds provided minus the 50% deposit.
•I reserve the right to alter and change my Terms of Service as I see fit and without notice.
Commissioners Rights
•As the commissioner you're free to post and share the commissioned image as long as credit is given. The commissioner will receive a watermark-free version for personal use only.
•You may not use any commissioned piece for commercial purposes. This includes but is not limited to: selling of physical merchandise produced, creating promotional material of the commissioners own content/business without explicit written consent, and digital downloads/prints of my work being sold on a third-party site.
***If my art is found to be used for promotional/commercial purposes, I reserve the right to file take-downs on all instances found and am entitled to royalties of 70% profit earned from the use of my content.
•Alteration of the original work is not allowed, including but not limited to: Cropping my signature/name out, tracing the original image, and paying another artist to alter/add further detail the original.
***If an alternate version of an image is wanted, the commissioner must either contact me for a secondary commission or have a separate artist make a distinguishably unique piece.
Payment
•No commission will be started until a 50% non-refundable deposit has been received. No exceptions.
•You have 48 hours from the time of me confirming your spot on my commissions queue to pay the deposit amount before the spot is forfeited and given to someone else. This includes YCH commissions.
***Confirmation is defined as the artist agreeing to the details discussed in your commission request, sending a deposit invoice directly through your preferred payment platform (see below), and notifying you the invoice has been sent.
•I reserve the right to not show the completed product, in any form, to the commissioner if payment has been rescinded since the original agreement date.
•The commissioner must pay the total cost of service before ownership of the completed image is transferred to them.
•The commissioner must pay the total cost of service before they will be allowed to view the completed image without extensive watermarking.
•I do not allow splitting payment between two or more people/accounts. All funds should be coming directly from the commissioner so payment or charge-back information can be easily verified. Apologies for the inconvenience.
•Payment is accepted through PayPal or CashApp, in USD only.
***Funds sent to the artist without confirmation being properly completed will be treated as tip or donation. Do not send funds in the form of: FA Shinies, ko-fi cups, or non-invoice PayPal transfers.
•NO refunds will be issued on finished pieces except in the case of extensive artist error.
•E-Checks, bitcoin, and game currencies are not accepted as a form of payment.
✦
•WIP sketches may be requested at any point after a piece has been started, however, the sketch will always feature a watermark. This is to avoid potential scams.
•In the event of a charge-back, in partial or full amount of the total commission price, I will regain all ownership of the completed image and retain the right to have it taken down. The commissioner responsible will also be blacklisted from future transactions.
Alterations
•Slight adjustments to a piece during the sketch stage are at no cost, this may include: Altering the outfit, adding/removing props, changing facial expressions, and slightly altering the pose. Exceptions to a no cost alteration: if the alterations requested would categorize your commission under a different slot or if they have a specified additional fee listed in the pricing sheet.
•If extensive changes need to be made at the sketch stage due to insufficient or incorrect information from the commissioner, fees may be applied. The fee is based on the total cost of the initial commission and may equal up to 10% of the initial commission cost. Artist error will not incur this fee.
•If extensive adjustments are requested after the sketch phase, fees will be applied. The fee is based on the total cost of the initial commission and may equal up to 40% of the initial commission cost, determined by the severity and level of completion before alteration.
✦ Completion Time-Frame
The time it takes for a commission to be completed varies on a case-by-case basis. It can range from being done the day after to weeks after confirmation is completed.
To maintain proper expectations, allow a minimum of 2 weeks and maximum of 6 weeks for it to be completed.
***If any life events occur which may delay the completion of a commission, the commissioner will be notified and given a new estimation of the completion date. Should this delay not be acceptable, the commissioner has the right to request a full refund including the 50% deposit.
You are welcome at any time to ask for a progress update, especially if you don't see any activity on my Trello.
At this time, I do not accept "rush-fees". If a piece is needed by a certain date then it must be agreed upon before confirmation occurs, as I cannot always prioritize works outside of a first-come, first-serve system.
✦ Commission File Size
Standard commissions will be drawn to fit on B2 size paper. This is 18 x 24 in. Landscape vs Portrait orientation will be determined by the contents of the commission.
***This is intended to reduce the chance of resolution degradation between platforms but the file size may be too large to upload; you can always request smaller resolutions.
For icon commissions, I will draw them on a 500x500 px canvas. The commissioner will be provided a PNG copy of the original size art, alongside 2 smaller resolutions, to accommodate other sites it may be used on. Unless specified by the commissioner, the smaller resolutions provided with be: 250x250 px and 100x100 px.
If specific dimensions are needed for any image, I MUST be told beforehand. If no request is made, I retain no responsibility for loss of quality upon resizing.
✦✦✦✦✦Content I Will Not Provide:
•Any content involving minors, SFW included
•Humans/Humanoid species (elfs, orcs, etc)
•Kemonomimi style
•Vore, any style
•Macro/Micro
•Scat/Vomit/Gas/etc
•Food stuffing/feeding/weight gain/"fatfur" content ~ Naturally bigger body-types are 100% okay for commission, but I am personally uncomfortable with this kink, sorry.
•Latex/rubber/pool-toy characters / fullbody latex or rubber outfits ~ I can't draw it well enough to justify charging yet.
•Noncon/gore/violence/death/snuff/etc
•I reserve the right to add further content restrictions to this list at any time.
Long time, no talk!
General | Posted a year agoSo yeah, it's been a long time since I last made a journal.
To keep things short and sweet:
- I've moved to a new state
- I'm currently between jobs
- My room is still a mess of a set up
- I'm trying to keep up with/pay for my college courses
- I wanna start streaming on Picarto more
- And I'll be opening for commissions on July 1st!
Back in April I moved literally from one coast of the U.S. to the other and have been kinda drifting since then, trying to get things unpacked and fixed up so I can have a comfortable space again despite unfortunate circumstances.
Since the move I've been without income, it hasn't been the end of the world since I always try to anticipate things going poorly and having backup funds, but that isn't going to last for very long at all. Despite cost of living being less where I now am, the job market seems to be just as bunk since I haven't gotten any response for interviews yet.
As of right now, my main focus has to be on finishing this semester of college - otherwise it'll be a lot of wasted effort and funds - so as much as I'd like to start taking commissions right off the bat, I wouldn't be able to deliver on them until a bit later. Therefore, I've decided to open up for commissions starting July, after my finals are done.
I won't have a slot limit or anything when I open, mostly because I want to see how much interest there is in general for my work, but honestly I doubt that'll be an issue. I haven't opened up in like 3 years because of my previous work schedule.
I'll also be trying to stream on Picarto whenever I have the time, so folks can see the progress on their commissions or just generally check in to see what I'm making. I have a lot of ideas for new characters and even some short comics, so I hope you all look forward to that. If things seem to be going well for streaming, I'll probably set up a legit schedule for it too, so everyone knows when to tune in.
Short term, I'm trying to get tipping through different routes set up. If anyone's able to spare a dollar or two for support, the best route is my CashApp: $demiiprince
