I'll make a full post on this later, but were I live was first hit by Helene and we got through okay and now Milton. While I am thankful my house is fine (besides a few leaks) I have been unable to work because of the hurricanes. My main source of income is doing food delivery services while searching for a more stable job. I need to pay my car insurance in a few days, and can't work for it. They have suspended services in the area due to the unsafe conditions. Not to mention there is also a gas shortage and getting gas either requires a two hour wait at one that luckily has some or being there before their next shipment comes in.
