So I've received a couple of feedbacks on whether I should start commissions and I'm happy to state that I might just be ready to open up sometime in October or November! Currently I am still on my trip so I won't be returning until the beginning of October. At the moment I do want to focus on personal artworks until then.
I will provide a detailed commission info within those months so keep a lookout for that! I will be doing a couple slots to start.
I also should probably state that I do have a twitter! So I encourage to follow me there to check out updates and sketches from me. I might be a little noisy with real life stuff, but hopefully that's not too much of an annoyance! I do want to try to communicate more and get to know more people, so feel free to give me a follow if you wish!

Possible Commissions & Current situation

I haven't done a journal since my last old account. Firstly thank you guys for all the support so far! I've been thinking of opening commissions up. But I'm not sure how well it would go. I'm a little worried that given the amount of watchers I have that this might not even get noticed. I feel I should explain what's going on with my situation right now.
Currently I'm working as a Graphic Designer in...essentially a "sweat shop". Recently I've been thinking of quitting for a while because of the demands of the job. Basically I'm requested to do more than what's expected out of me, this includes physical labor. There's a ton of problems that occur at the shop. I come home exhausted, feeling stressed and worrying about the next day. Every day I wake up never feeling good despite getting the recommended 8 hours of sleep. The job isn't paying me well despite having a Bachelor's. I fear the job is affecting my health and thus I feel it may be time to quit. I have somewhat of a back-up fund to support my family for at least two months...but here is my dilemma:
I've applied for other jobs, but haven't heard back. Unfortunately, I didn't get accepted into one new opportunity very recently. Once I quit this job, I won't have any jobs lined up (unless I somehow hear back on my applications). Even though money is important, my family and most of my friends believe it is affecting my health just staying there. I would be taking a huge risk quitting without any jobs lined up...but here's what I think I'll plan to do:
I am thinking of doing commissions to "cushion" my funds. The money will go towards paying rent/food/travel expenses. I am considering traveling for a month to be with my sister in order to look for better job opportunities in Florida. I'm taking a survey to see how many of you would be interested in commissioning if I were to open?
