I'm much more active on my Twitter rayneandbeanies (you can also find pictures of my face there) since it seems a lot of my customer base is active there as well. It's much better for me to work with, and easier!

Room Signs - PWYW Commissions OPEN
Posted 8 years agoI'm opening up commissions up until June 25th as PWYW - So you pay me (minimum of $5) - Give me a brief description of what you want, send me a ref, and I'll draw you something.
I'm also considering opening up for room sign commissions? Chibi fullbody room signs with up to like, 5 people/characters. I don't even know yet though, as I'm not sure people would be interested in them enough to offer them.

Posted 8 years agoIn half a year, my fiance and myself are moving into our very first apartment!! (Maybe sooner!) Which is holy shit, exciting??? I've never actually lived in an apartment that wasn't Section 8, so I'm really pumped!
Not to mention this will be our first place together as a couple - And our first place as adults that will actually be our's! I've gotta buy some furniture and stuff for the house (new bed and frame because the one I'm using now is my dad's whoops - and a few other things like a kitchen table and chairs, entertainment center, etc) but we've got our couch, tv, dresser - The bare minimum, excluding a mattress of our own.
So, I'm saving up all the money I possibly can so we can buy house stuff before we move in, so we aren't waiting til the very very last minute to buy it all!
!!Any money that comes from commissions from this point forward will be transferred to my bank, and put back into a savings account until we sign our lease!!

Account Suspension - Patreon - Things to come (Ranting)
Posted 8 years agoSo, long story really short, my account got suspended roughly four days ago because I "Violated site rules" and was apparently "Malicious" to a degree that got me a four day suspension. Anyways - I'm over it!
I've got a new price sheet in the works (raising prices to fit accordingly to my new skill) and I'm currently thinking up some things for my Patreon.
I'd like to see art as more of a second job, rather than a "Whenever I want" kind of thing - Which is difficult with my current work schedule. But now that I have a laptop that I can carry literally anywhere, I could even do art AT work, while on break. However, I'm not sure what people would like to see from me - So give me some ideas!
I've already thought up a few, but throwing it at me again would ensure that it makes the list.
As far as things to come, well it's just me getting bigger and better at life itself, not just artwork or whatever task I take on. I'm feeling better mentally now, than I have in years.

Anyways I've gone off ranting again! Look in my submissions for more new things, if you're interested! I've got a few ref sheet discounts going on right now for 26 INCH x 12 INCH refs with loads of extras!

Which is wonderful, but also not so wonderful. My right nipple graft has been having some problems, so that's obviously not that good - But I contacted my doctor and he told me to just keep up doing what I've been doing, and if things don't work out so great, I can go in for a revision! Which eases my mind slightly- but also not, since he's located all the way down in Florida, and I'm all the way in South Carolina.
Anyways - I have one commission right now to finish, and I'm still out of work for another two weeks- So that'll be finished within the next week.
I still have a few characters for sale, if anyone is interested in them. Links and prices below!

As most of you know, I recently had top surgery! Which means, September 22nd, I lost my titties. Which is a good thing - Actually scratch that it's a fucking perfect thing.
Obviously it was a big huge like, surgery thing - I ended up in Florida for a week (like South Florida where it rains everyday around 5PM and the iguanas own the sidewalks)
It was all fine and dandy so basically I'm just gonna write a little about the experience, move on, and get back to doing what I was doing before!

So basically my boyfriend (now fiance!) and I went to FL, I drove all the way down in the middle of the night, went to my pre-op appointment, and then came "home" which was New Beginnings TLC. Amazing place by the way. Fucking awesome experience while I was there. I never doubted it once, and I had a great time regardless of the plastic tubes in my fucking shoulders the entire week I was there.
ANYWAYS
After my pre-op, obviously like, those surgery jitters kinda got me, and I was starting to get really nervous about going under the knife. So I took some sleeping pills that night and went to bed, knowing I had to be up at like, 6 AM to go in for surgery at 7-8 AM.
Woke up completely calm. Didn't put on a bra, cause I knew I wouldn't need it afterwards, during, or whatever- ever again. Got up, dressed, and went to the surgery center and immediately was bombarded with like, nurses trying to get IVs in me, asking questions, signing a few last papers, and talking to the anesthesiologist while the nurse ran my vitals. Obviously I was clear to go. Got stabbed three times while they tried to put an IV in and kept missing my veins (jesus christ I never had that much trouble with my veins ever before) and so we eventually ended up with a fucking IV for fluids just halfway down my forearm.
Doc came in, I showed him a last minute picture of what I really would like my chest to look like, and then I was off. Got up out of the prep bed, walked back through a door with a sign that said "Off to the see the wizard" which was the surgery room, got on a big table thing, they splayed me out, put a warm blanket on me, put some warm things on my legs, told me to lay down and stretch out my left arm spread eagle, and then I was completely out. That was the last thing I remember.
So waking up I wasn't nauseous, no pain, nada. First thing I really remember was my boyfriend coming back and holding my hand and just smiling at me with a camera in my face as I looked down at my chest. There were some blue bandages and some gauze on it so y'know, I didn't really fuck with it- but either way. Y'know, it was done and over with. First thing I actually did was asked for my phone and I called my parents. Dad first, then mom - Let them know everything went good and I wasn't in really any pain - No pain at all infact - And then I got up and walked to a chair as I waited on our ride to get there.
The next six days were a blast. I met new guys, made new friends, ones that I'll keep for a lifetime now -And I got to propose to my big dumb idiot! Which he said yes to - the night before surgery lmao. I played with dogs, participated in a livestream event, ate salmon, played with a bird, watched too much youtube and netflix, and slept so much - Only drank water, and needed help pulling up my pants when I went to pee.
So the night before my reveal, I couldn't fucking sleep like, at all. The entire past 6 days I'd been sleeping in a recliner and I was done with it. I couldn't get comfy. My back and my hip fucking hurt soooooo bad that I could have screamed at the top of my lungs. My friends that had been there when I arrived were gone, and I just - I don't know - felt kinda off? My reveal couldn't have come soon enough. I was so ready to get those fucking drains out. Got there around 2, when my appointment was at 2:30 - didn't get really started til about 3 with the reveal though.
Doc came in, unwrapped the ace bandage, and told me to lay down. Took off that blue bandaging that was actually holding back my view of my new nipple placement and scars - and when he took it off, I didn't even have words? Like, there weren't enough words in the world to describe it? It was just - normal. No real surprise at all, even though I've spent 21 years living with a chest I didn't own - I just felt perfectly right and comfortable as soon as he took the bandages off. So he went about getting the nipple dressings off, trimming some of the stitching there down so it wasn't sticking out so far, and then we got the drains out. The drains felt like - just imagine gummy worms, really long ones, being pulled from under your skin and out through a tiny hole in the front of your shoulders - Shit was the weirdest thing ever. Didn't honestly hurt though, so that was nice. Just a sort of tugging sensation. Doc pulled off the old steri strips that were on my scars, cleaned me off with some peroxide I think, and then put some glue on me and slapped on some new steri strips (i hate these things cause i can't see my incisions???) and he told me to get up and look in the mirror and so I did.
Boy oh boy - I thought I would've been crying so hard, y'know holding it back all these years waiting for this - Nah. No tears. Not a single fucking one. Because I was literally at peace. I hope everyone, transmen, trans individuals who want top surgery, all get to feel the feeling I felt when that happened. It was so fucking euphoric - And I shared it with my fiance, and the best god damn doctor ever (Russel Sassani in Plantation, Florida at Take Shape Plastic Surgery!!!!)
So we got some gauze back on my nips, slapped the ace back on (it's to keep swelling down and etc like that lmao) and he hugged me, we got some pictures, and I was outta there a new man. Totally new, but a sorta new that I always knew I should've been.
Got back to New Beginnings, said our goodbyes and thank you's to all the new friends we had made, gave all the guys who had just had surgery our best and our love as far as recovery goes - and bid them farewell!

Now, I'm a week and a half post op, and boy when those drains came out I was like, hot damn. I still have to wear the ace wrap until the 16th at the LEAST, and then y'know, take care of my scabby nips until they are all pretty and pink again (or whatever color they settle on!) After that, I'm allowed to start scar treatment, massaging them and etc like that. Then in about half a year to a whole year I can get tattoos and piercings y'know cause I'm getting my nips pierced. I also got my gender marker paper thing too??? So I may pay the DMV a visit sometime this coming week and see what I can do about that lmao. I bet I'll have to go to the Social Security office though. Which sucks, but y'know. Whatever!
Point here is, I'm free, home, and in recovery now - And I honestly feel great! As soon as this ace wrap is off and I have full mobility back, I think I'll be okay. Until then, I'm just dealing with it.

So I just wanted to let everyone know I'll be unreachable until then more than likely, just because I'll be working up until the 20th, and I'll be scrambling around, trying to get everything packed, and double packed, checking everything again and again so I can actually not worry - and then I gotta take my dog to his sitter - Etc
So I just wanted to say there will be a temporary hiatus on my page for a little, just until I can get healed up enough to get back!!

RayneTop Surgery Date!
Posted 9 years agoI booked my appointment today with Dr. Russell Sassani and put down my deposit!
Pre-Op appointment is September 21st & surgery is September 22 at 7AM!
Then my chest reveal and drain removal is September 28th!
I'm beyond excited, and really thankful for everyone who have helped me so far! Expect some delays from me with responding and etc of that sort, due to me setting up all of my appointment stuff and FMLA and etc like that!

Posted 9 years agoI had a dream last night that I was finally post op for top surgery, and I could feel everything. Quite literally. Every pull of the stitches - My drains tugging when I had to clean out the bulbs - Everything felt so fucking real to me and basically it's more or less set my entire mood for the day, which isn't that great.
But anyways - I have a few commissions lined up, which will allow me to throw money into my savings account for top surgery.
Hopefully someday soon, I won't have to dream about this stuff anymore, and it'll just be a reality. Commissions

Closing Commissions
Posted 9 years agoSo my grandfather has been stamped with an expiration date, which is six months from now. I just learned this today, and since he's currently in the hospital for multiple different reasons right now, the hospital and doctors there have told us that at this point, my father and I need to step back and let hospice come in to do their job to make him as comfortable as possible in his last days/weeks/months. Hopefully there's more time than that left for him, and for us - But we've seen this coming for months and months now. At least when something does happen, he'll no longer have to suffer. But as for now, it's hitting me like a train and I really just need to stop and step down for a while. With my birthday around the corner, my testosterone anniversary, my boyfriend starting testosterone finally, my father's health, and informing all the family - There's just too much going on and I honestly just have to close commissions. For those who have already paid me, I'll refund you on Thursday.
I'll make another journal whenever I actually decide to open again, if I decide to. I just can't right now, or even see myself opening again in the near future.
I just... need some time to myself. I"m sorry.

$15 Copic Badge Commissions?
Posted 9 years agoI've gotten gore down pretty pat, and I've got the hang of these markers. The only bad thing is, is I don't have all the colors of the rainbow yet - So be patient with me when commissioning for these. If I can go out and buy the color I need for your badge, I will do so. But if I can't, please don't get upset when I turn it down!
$15 is for shaded, highlighted, laminated, and shipped!
You can literally get anything from gore done, to a piece of literal shit sitting on your nose.
I'll try and post some examples of my copics stuff here shortly, so be on the lookout.
EDIT; I can do just regular commissions for full body art, porn, whatever too! $15 is just a base rate for stuff done with the copics, y'know, since the markers are pretty darn expensive and they don't last forever [I figured that out the other day when I killed my darker grey marker lmao] I am horrible at saving money

Posted 9 years agoSo commissions are open full blast. I am on the climb to get top surgery before the very end of 2016 at the latest. So that means everything is discounted as fuck. And donations, as always, are open as well but definitely not required.
If you want something, don't even bother with my commission price sheet. Just note me with a ref, a description, and y'know- Whatever like that. I'll give you a discounted price as long as you send the code; GAM3OV3R to me in a note with the commission stuff or whatever lmao
Literally going to try to do as many as I can for as long as I can between my work hours and things like that, so please be patient, and feel free to ask me questions. I'll end up making a queue on who's next and what stage the art is in and all that

Brief thing of why I'm doing this;
Listen, I'm not asking for a pity party or hundreds of donations - I'm just asking for you to commission me. I'm transgender, and I need top surgery. At this point it's not even a want. It's a need- for me to be able to actually be comfortable in my body. I work a full time job, live by myself, and pay all my own bills ALONE with literally no assistance at all. So a few commissions would be nice to give me a hand while I'm trying to save as much as I can.
