Hello again, everyone! I hope you all are doing well. I know it's been a while since I made a journal post here, and even more so since I uploaded something. Sorry about that as life has, once again, proven to be rocky ever since we moved to another country. It turns out that it's quite literally impossible to please my dad as he'll get upset with one thing before he gets upset with something else when you dealt with the problem. It's a never-ending cycle, and me and my mum have been facing that on a nearly every day basis.

Anyway, enough of that. I will be okay as I just wanted to share a fun fact about myself and how I write some stories. The story commission that I've been writing for the Horrortober Story YCH is about 50% of the way there! And my goodness it's a huge one at that as it's almost 20 thousand words long! Yes! TWENTY! THOUSAND! WORDS! I will get back to writing it today because I really, really want to finish it.

When I write some stories, I always go through the process of understanding which characters are going to be involved and what they're going to be transformed into. This will serve the start and end points, which then allows me to fill in the middle with some other things like where the story's going to take place, what will cause them to get transformed and why they're being transformed. This way, I can then mold the story into shape where everything has a purpose and reason behind it. I just like doing it this way as it makes everything clear and easy for me to understand while being able to develop a story behind the transformation trigger and process.

For me, stories are a love letter to some of my childhood memories, fun and memorable moments, and some iconic cliches and one-liners that originates from old video games and movies and experiences that I once had as a kid. The reason why I take so long (and often procrastinate) is because I want to write a proper story that just oozes with love, care and passion, not by cheaply fabricating it by uploading 20+ stories a day. Not to mention that I don't often get a lot of commissions, trades or requests. So, I treat all of them with a lot of passion and care as if it's my last time writing them. And with that being said, I just want to give them something great and memorable because it always makes me happy whenever I see them enjoy reading through the stories that I've written for them.

You might be thinking: "But Gamertron! A transformation story should be about the transformation process and trigger!" And yeah, I get that as we all have our own kinks and fetishes, which is totally fine as we all like what we like. But like I said before, I want to write each transformation story with some love and passion as the ideas are often based around my childhood memories and experiences, and what I grew up watching and playing. I'll name an example: One of my stories is called Jelly Bubble Bath, and that story is based around a commercial that I remember seeing on TV when I was little while the setting is also what I remembered and experienced. On the story, the Buizel dreamed of having a foamy bubble bath before seeing his disappointed plain bath that has little to no bubbles. He goes out to a shopping mall where he finds a product stand that has a little TV that's showcasing how the product works before buying it and heading off. Of course, that ended up in a disaster as he ended up getting trapped inside a slimy bubble bath. That story is based on:
- My experience of having a soapy and bubbly bubble bath that gradually became more plain as the soapy bubbles dissolve
- My memories of seeing some product stands that contained some fun animations and live-action of kids and people dressed up in costumes and using the product.
- My memory of watching a jelly bubble bath commercial on TV

As you can see, this story is in the form of a window of my childhood that I remembered and experienced as a kid. And I want to pass that feeling off to you or someone else that's getting a story from me. So, whether if you're getting a story from me or just here reading them, just know that each and every single one of them is fueled and based around my memories while it serves as a tribute to the iconic and memorable media of movies, TV shows, commercials or video games that I, or we, grew up with. Either way, I hope you can experience the same feeling that I experienced when I was young.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TODAY! WAHOO!

Man! 25 years old on the 25th May of 2025! I feel like I've been rebirthed or transcended into some sort of powerful dragon, haha!

Honestly, I'm not sure what else I can say about this other than thanking all of you for sticking around with me, even though I haven't been uploading or creating many stories. Since this is a very special day for me, I will mark it as a new beginning for me where I will get back into writing once again. It's easy to fall into a slump of playing video games, I'll admit. But hopefully, things will turn around for the better.

Well, here’s part two of my wonderful dead GPU saga. After trying to do some more troubleshooting like putting it in another slot on my motherboard, nothing works as I still have the same black screen while the fans on the GPU are still running.

On top of this, MSI has kindly informed me that I only had a year of “international warranty”, which was NOWHERE found on their website as the only warranty policy I could find from them was about them saying that all GPUs come with a 3-year warranty that either starts from the date that they’ve been manufactured, or from the date of purchase of an authorised retailer with an invoice provided.

So, I got in touch with Overclockers UK as that’s where I ordered all of my parts and explained the issue to them. I was told to provide some photos before beginning the RMA process, but my GPU had a small part snapped off due to my computer being mishandled by the airline last year or so. This means that my warranty has been voided.

So, where am I now? I’M SCREWED!

My RTX 4080 costed me about £950, and an RTX 5080 costs about £1,500, which is quite a lot! So, I really need the funds to be able to purchase a new GPU in order to get back into business. Well, the title of this journal says it all. It turns out that my RTX 4080 graphics card has kicked the bucket. I have talked with someone who I worked with at a local IT company about this, and they told me that this is the case.

So, I don’t have a computer anymore. And so, any plans to play games, voice chat and do some fun activities are all thrown out the window until I can get a new one. Luckily, I have an MSI graphics card and, according to MSI’s website about their warranty, their warranty lasts for 3 years. And since I bought this GPU back in 8th August 2023, I believe I have a good chance to get a new GPU shipped to me with the possibility that I might need to pay for shipping costs, which is fine.

However, I will say that this is such bad timing as my birthday is coming up soon, and it’s a shame that this might not get fixed in time. But if it takes a while, then I can wait. After all, the main thing is that I don’t have to fork out a lot of money for a new part.

Hey, everyone. I hope you’re doing well in this rather… unusual state of this website. It’s rather strange to be in this sort of limbo state, but I’m sure they will get things back up and running very soon!

Sadly, I wish everything was all nice, peachy and simple as apparently, my computer has decided to act all quirky, noisy and troublesome thanks to the display drivers on my RTX 4080 GPU crashing and possibly taking the GPU itself down with it.

So, what happened?
About a month ago or so, I began to experience a very strange issue with my computer where my monitor screen would go black as if I just changed the channel as the “No Signal” message would appear before going on standby. This issue would happen at random as I could be playing games, using Discord or even watching a video.

I did some extensive troubleshooting and research online about this issue, and this issue started with versions 572/576 on Nvidia’s Game Ready graphics drivers as it was causing them to crash. There has been a few articles that talked about this, including from PC Gamer, and it was recommended for me to roll it back to version 566 as it was reported to be very stable. So, I went ahead to download Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU for short), booted my computer up into Safe Mode, ran the program, let it restart, apply the previous version and restart again. The issue was fixed and everything was fine.

That is, until now as fast forward to today, and my computer has decided to unleash phase 2 of this issue, which made it much more strange, worse and outright frustrating to deal with. Not to mention that I was also tired as I just came back from my holidays as well.

I was playing Rift of The Necrodrancer for a bit and in the middle of a level, the black screen issue came back. So, I followed the same troubleshooting steps, but it was only temporary as the issue persisted even after several restarts and clean-ups from the DDU software that I was using. I have tried to roll back some Windows updates, used the keyboard shortcut to restart the graphics drivers, made sure that everything was physically connected, everything. Yet, the issue still persisted, even after running DDU multiple times on each failed attempt!

What was even stranger was that when I rolled back on Windows Update, Device Manager disappeared as my Start menu couldn’t even find it! So, I had to use Run and execute it to bring it up! And on top of that, my computer was having an identity crisis as it was saying that my GPU wasn’t connected while it actually was connected. I didn’t remove it or anything. So, I’m not sure why it was doing that.

So, in the end, I decided to do a reset on my PC in the hopes that I could find a way to take away the troublesome display drivers. But as I type this, my GPU fans are revving up and taking off like a jet engine and it’s almost 4am as I’ve been troubleshooting this issue for a good 5 hours.

UGH!

I guess I’m gonna need to take a trip down to a computer repair shop tomorrow or something. This is going to burn a hole through my wallet.

Ah, January. The start of a new year. The aftermath of the previous year. Christmas and Thanksgiving was a good time to spend with your family, friends and your loved ones. Of course, you can't celebrate it without some food, and what's better than getting yourself stuffed right up to the ceiling with some delicious gourmet food?

To kick off this month, I will be focusing on inflation-related stuff. This also includes some things like fat and weight gain, as well as the good old way of being pumped up like a balloon! I will admit that I've never written any stories that involves some inflation. So, please bear with me while I try to familarise myself with this.

YCH Pricing

INFORMATION: As I stated on my previous journal, I will be raising my commisison prices by +50% on 15th January 2025. To keep things fair, my YCH prices will remain as listed below for this month while the new prices will come into effect in February.

Pricing is based on how many characters are affected on the story, NOT by the amount of characters included on the story. For example: If there’s 3 characters in the story and 2 characters get inflated, the price will be £7.50.

1 Character = £5
2 Characters = £7.50
3 Characters = £10
4 Characters = £12.50

NOTE: Trades and requests are NOT accepted on my YCHs. Sorry about that!

Theme
- The overall theme is all about inflation, fat and weight gain, whichever one you prefer. This can involve your character getting pumped up as a huge floating balloon for a parade, or your character receiving some excellent service at a super fancy, all-you-can-eat, restuarant.
- The overall plot can be anything like getting invited to a fancy restuarant where you'll receive an all-you-can-eat buffet, or perhaps volunteering for a local paradae where you get turned into a big, plump inflatable as a replacement.

Important Information
- No characters will be harmed in any way or experience any form of pain or discomfort. Popping and/or deflation is not included, but is optional if you wish to have it.
- All additional effects such as getting a permanent grin as a giant floating balloon, or eating other characters (i.e. vore) is entirely optional at no extra cost.
- Multiple characters can get inflated either at the same time or at a different time. Multiple characters can also be inflated in different ways where one gets stuffed with some food and the other gets inflated with some helium or air.

Slots will be unlimited for this YCH as it's another one that I would like to experiment and obtain some opportunities to expand my writing skills, as well as gauging on how much interest I'll get.

Hello, gooey friends! Happy Belated New Year!

I apologise for the radio silence once again as December was an eventful month for me as I celebrated Christmas and New Year with my family and relatives. Since it's now 2025, I figured that it's best for me to get my head back into writing again and grip it like a slime cube that's hoarding some treasure inside of it! I have some plans for this year, and I will lay them out in no particular order.

First Up: Patreon!

As of today, I will be working on getting my very own Patreon page set up so any of you can choose to support me at a monthly cost if you wish to do so. I have noticed that there's a good number of artists and creators using Patreon, and I figured that I could toss my hat into the ring and set my own page up. However, that's easier said than done as I would like to hear some suggestions, do's and don'ts and any other important information that I need to consider. Since I'm a writer where I only write some stories, I would like to know what I can offer to entice people to support me on Patreon as while I could offer some exclusive content or early access like everyone else, I would like to keep my content available to the public for everyone to view at no charge as I don't want to give people a fear of missing out.

Second Up: Twitch Streaming!

My next plan is to get myself back into streaming as I was thinking of doing some things live like playing games or writing stories, depending on what everyone's interested with. My goal here is to meet Twitch's requirements so I can become a partner or an affiliate, which will help me to generate some income as I stream. This isn't going to be easy as I'm not very well-known, but I remain to be optimistic as I know that as long as I enjoy myself and not focus on the numbers too much, I will be alright.

I appreciate anyone and everyone that stops by to watch my streams either for a few minutes or the entire way through! I will take what I get, even if it means only one person is watching my streams.

Third Up: Story YCHs! Inflationuary YCHs Open!

I have decided that now's the perfect time for me to do some story YCHs that usually involve some different things like suiting, encasement, inflation, bondage and some other kinks or fetishes as I would love to have some opportunities to expand my writing pallete and explore what other things I could write about. As much as I do love writing transformations, I would love to write some other things, even if it's outside of my usual preferences like goo, latex, melting and quicksand. And what's better than to kick off the new year with a story YCH of my own called Inflationuary?!

Every month, I plan to cycle through a particular kink or fetish that I'll write about. In this case: January is Inflationuary, which is all about inflation, weight gain and becoming bloated and round. While it's not my main interest, I would like to keep my mind open to see what I can or can't do, or what I like or don't like, as, again, I would love to expand my current writing pallete outside of transformations. I will make a new journal about this YCH after when I publish this one. Story YCHs will be 50% cheaper as they will often contain a fixed scenario and/or a fixed fetish which, in this case, is inflation and weight gain.

And Finally: Base Price Increase!

This isn't going to be a nice change as when artists raise their commission prices, it may put some people off. However, on 15th January 2025, my base commission prices will be raised by +50%. The reason why I'm doing this is because I feel like I've been undercharging for my quality of writing, and I will be raising it so it can better reflect on the quality of my writing. I'm expected to receive some criticism or negative feedback, and that's totally fine as I'm willing to listen to what all of you have to say about this. This is also my first time doing something like this, and I would like to take it nice and slow as the last thing I want is to overcharge people and underdeliver.

Just a heads up for those who have commissioned some stories beforehand: You DO NOT need to pay extra! This change will only take effect for all future commissions after 15th January 2025. There will NOT be any extra charges!

Hi, everyone. I apologise for the long radio silence once again. Personal issues and life got in the way, but things have been ironed out and now we’re back on track. I have done so as I want to move on, have a clean slate and improve my mental health as social media does have a nasty little habit of seeping some sadness and loneliness into me if I doomscroll or browse for too long.

Finally! The furry website that we all know and love has finally come back!

I find it funny that I was browsing the website at about 5:40am (UK time) on the day this happened. I was looking through an artist’s gallery before noticing that the images weren’t loading up as it displayed a tiny blue box with a white question mark inside. I then saw CloudFlare’s error 1016 page a couple of minutes later when I tried to continue browsing through the website. I went to bed as I thought it was their server’s being overloaded, but I was wrong when I woke up to see the announcements from their official Discord server!

Things really went downhill from here on out before they got it back, didn’t it? Yeesh! But anyway, we’re finally back now, furries!

Whoopsy-oopsy daisy! I... forgot to create a new journal entry about what's been going on with life.

First off: I do want to thank all of you for favouriting my stories and watching me on here as I appreciate it! I don't go around to comment on other people's pages to thank them for their watches of favourites as I don't want to be too bothersome about it, but I just want to say that I appreciate it deep down in my gooey heart.

And secondly: I'm still alive and kicking! The Horrortober story YCH that I started working back in 2022 (yikes!) before putting it on hold for some time is still being worked on. I already broke through 13,000 words (also yikes!) and this story is expected to be a big one! Hopefully, FurAffinity won't have an issue with me uploading it onto here, right? Right...?

Anyway, online stuff aside, let me provide some clarity with my current life ever since I moved to another country. For context: I moved out from Jersey (the Channel Islands Jersey, not New Jersey in the USA) near the end of 2023 as my dad wanted to set up our own car hire company as our own family business. This resulted with me packing my computer and my stuff away while also resigning from my new job that I started working in January 2023, effectively meaning that I'm now unemployed along with my family. We have moved over to Madeira, which is a small island where both of my parents grew up in their childhoods separately before moving over to Jersey and getting married, so we could set up our own car hire company. My dad took out a loan from a bank, which allowed him to buy 10 cars so he could be open for business. But unfortunately, the whole business was a FAILURE as there's so many car hire companies around while we received little to no customers, meaning that the business was a black hole to my dad's money (he set this business up under his own name, by the way). As a result, he got a deal with one car hire company where they would give him a new car and a decent amount of money in exchange for the 10 cars that he had before. I can confirm that he did receive this deal as it wasn't a total scam.

As of right now, I'm currently unemployed and I don't plan to find a job here in Madeira because the minimum wage over here is really bad as you're talking about earning €2 to €3 an hour, which is very little compared to my previous job that I had back in Jersey. Not to mention that we only have one car, which is what my dad uses, and we can't really buy another car as we have a loan to pay back to the bank. You see, the money that he received from the deal he got with another car hire company was used to pay for the loan back, meaning that he didn't gain anything from it. While I'm not a part of the loan as, again, it was all registered under my dad's name, he's now working for a property estate agent, which is fine and all.

You might be wondering: "Ok, Gamertron. We get that you moved to another country while your family business failed. What gives?" Well, allow me to make something clear: I wasn't too keen on doing this in the first place at all.
The thing is, my dad can be quite stubborn at times. Like, VERY stubborn! What I mean is that he only listens to people who agree with his ideas while ignoring and sometimes berating those who are against it, just like this car hire company that he wanted to set up. Me and my mum weren't too keen on doing this in the first place as my dad just wanted to get this set up as quickly as possible and we gave our honest opinions about this as there's way too many car hire companies around here in Madeira. This resulted with him getting very angry with us as he would shout, swear and hurl some abuse towards us, mainly towards me, which made things a lot more difficult for me to retain a positive attitude towards him. I mean, try retaining your cool towards someone who's quite angry as they swear and hurl some abuse towards you! I did it, and it was hard!

As 2023 progressed, my dad continued to rush through the process of getting the legal licences and stuff sorted while juggling around to get the cars and the website up and running. Unfortunately for him, he was showing them a lot of signs of desperation, which resulted with his progress of setting up his business stuttering and even stopping for some time. This took a toll on him as I remember seeing him in the bed stressing out with this whole thing. I do remember telling him NOT to show any signs of desparation while also telling him that it would best for him to take a step back and slow down. My mum also warned him that this was a sign for him to call this whole thing off, but he didn't as he persisted, which was fine and all. But sadly, the business resulted in a failure and is now no longer functioning.

Now that I got time on my hands while I don't need to worry about getting a job, I figured why not pick up my old hobby of writing and get back into it? And that's what I'm here to tell you that I have RE-OPENED TO ACCEPT COMMISSIONS, TRADES AND REQUESTS! YAY!

Yes! Today’s the day! The 25th May is finally here as I’m now 23 years old! Whoo-hoo!

I would like to thank all of you for the birthday wishes, as well as being here with me for however long or short amount of time. Hi, everyone!

I don't normally make these kinds of journals other than some life updates and all, but I feel like this should be something for everyone to consider, especially over on Twitter, as there's a slow trend of some artists asking people to commission them in a rather desperate or unwelcoming way.

Please note that I am NOT here to say that they're scammers or anything as I just recently got a couple of people who have messaged me through Twitter asking me to commission them, and this is all new. I'm trying to raise awareness that not only this is unwelcoming, but it might lead to some scams.

I have made a couple of tweets about this here.

How does this work? And how is this a bad thing?

The way it works is rather simple: You get a message from someone that would be a simple "Hey" or "Hi", and it would sit in your message requests. Normally, you would accept it and talk with them, asking them why they messaged you, and they would tell you that they like your character as they're willing to draw something for you.

So far, so good, right? I mean, someone likes your character and they're willing to draw something for you. Who wouldn't want to pass up on that?

The problem is that they may or may not say that they're looking for you to commission them, which can be a bit confusing as it might sound like they're going to give you some fan art or something. But either way, you're not getting some free art from them as the catch here is that they would ask you to commission (i.e. pay) them in order to get some art. I mean, that's fine and all as we all make money and need to start off somewhere. BUT! The problem isn't about them telling you about this. It's more about HOW they would tell you about it.

Some artists might be straightforward and say that they're a commission artist or something. But others might play the desperation card where they would tell you that they're low on work/funds, in a dire need of help, anything that they can say to try and get you to say yes and part your cash with them. This is the problem that I'm trying to point out here.

Again, I'm not here to say that they're all scams or anything as I don't have a lot of proof or evidence that they are indeed scammers or anything. However, the reason why I'm pointing this problem out is because it really does raise some warning signs due to this type of nature that's slowly emerging from Twitter, which could possibly emerge from here, DeviantArt, Weasyl or any other art site. Rather, this is me giving out a warning that there MIGHT be some bad actors that might join this trend and possibly scam other people.

For me, I kinda find this annoying as this is like the exact opposite of people asking some artists for some free art, and I can understand that as I used to do that some years ago before I stopped. The reason why I stopped is because not only it felt annoying, but it also felt rather rude for me to go around and ask for some art requests. And now we're experiencing the opposite as some artists are going around to randomly message people to commission them instead. While I can understand that some artists or content creators are small and lesser-known than everyone else like me, sometimes it's best to do some art, let people come and ask you for some art or content and slowly build up from there. I know that this is not ideal, but it's always best to start off slow and slowly build your way up from within the community as it just feels rather unwelcoming if someone comes up to you and say: "HEY! I'M AN ARTIST, AND I WANT YOU TO GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!" out of nowhere.

Just be careful out there, friend. The internet is like the Wild West: You don't know who's out there in that digital desert, partner. All it takes is one click and your life changes all of a sudden from those good-for-nothin', rootin-tootin' bandits.

Merry Christma- Wait a minute. It's 23rd December! Ah, well. Merry Christmas to all of you, anyway! I do hope that Fur-ther Claws brings you all some great pieces of artwork, commissions and gifts for you and your furry friends (and your family, too)!

I'm sorry for the radio silence once again ever since I last made my journal on here. Some things have popped up in my life, but there has been some major changes, most of which are good as I got it wrangled and tamed like a glyphid grunt slasher that's about to slash and stun me when I have some low health (I love Deep Rock Galactic)!

Life Progress - DRIVING LICENCE GET!

After 7 attempts, I'm finally happy to say that I managed to pass my driving test as I now hold a legal driving licence to drive automatic vehicles! I remember going for my driving test on my 7th attempt back on 31st October, which was Halloween, and I was feeling nervous, but also confident as I was determined to pass it on this attempt. After when I stopped the vehicle at the driving exam centre, my female driving exmainer told me that the test was over and I watched her open her bag where she stored some booklets to sign to determine whether if you passed or failed as I was expecting her to go for the red booklet and say that I failed.

"Well, Michael..." She began as she opened her bag while I look at the booklets that were inside the bag. "That concludes your driving test."
"I failed again, didn't I?" I thought to myself as I was feeling anxious while I was embracing another failed attempt. "Please don't fail me again..."
"I am pleased to say that you have passed your driving test!" She told me as she reached for the blue booklet and opened it to sign the paper.
"I PASSED?!" I exclaimed.
"Yes!" She confirmed.
"No way! I passed?!"
"Yes! You did pass your driving test!"

I felt so relieved on that day as that meant no more spending money on driving lessons, exam bookings or driving licence renewals! It felt like a huge weight has been lifted away from my shoulders while I've finally did something good for once without procrastinating!

Life Progress - JOB HOPPER!

Before I go on to talk about this, I would like to thank my cousin as he has helped me to recommend a better job at a different company, as well as giving me some advice on how to make my CV more presentable. He's not here on FurAffinity and he's certainly not a furry, but I want to give him some credit as I appreciate his help.

I've been off sick from work due to stress, anxiety and depression, and my sick notice period would've fnished on 19th December, but I got it extended up until 9th January 2023 with my dad so that I can recover and feel better. While I'm not actually off sick from work, I will say that my current job as a sales assistant at my local petrol (or gas for non-British furries) station has been getting worse with every passing week. If I were to describe my job, I will say that it's like living with a large family where you would get along with your cousins, brothers and sisters really well while you all live with an abusive father. What I'm saying is that the job itself just feels rather stressful and intense at times as nearly everything is constantly micromanaged by the managers, ranging from how the shelves should be topped up and topped up with and following various different steps and protocols, to constantly checking and monitoring our shift clock app and clocking in and out whenever we start and finish our shifts. And after enduring that for quite some time, and with the help from my cousin, I was able to find a different job that I feel like it's going to be a major step forward in my life.

I already did an interview with the employers over at my new job, and I feel like it went pretty well! I will say that I was quite nervous during the interview, but I quickly became more confident as I answered their questions and talked with them. And after waiting for about a week, I'm happy to say that I've been accepted as they offered me a place to work as a Service Operations Technician! They wanted me to come in to start my 12-week probation on 9th January 2023, but my current job requires me to hand in my 4-week notice so I can resign, which I already did as I emailed the HR team at my current job to say that I'm resigning on 15th January 2023. They didn't come back to say anything about that, but it's ok as they got it anyway. And as for my new job, they're more than happy for me to start on 16th January 2023, which is going to be a major step forward for me as I reconsidered to not go with my dad to go to Madeira and decided to stay here in this lovely little island called Jersey!

Upcoming - NEW MONTHLY-THEMED YCHs!

I have thought about and came up with some new monthly-themed YCHs that I would cycle around every month. I already introduced Sinktember and Horrortober for September and October respectively, but I feel like I should have some more YCHs to cycle through each month in order to provide a larger variety of themes, even if they're not my main interests as to how goo, slime or latex are. After all, it doesn't hurt to give it a try, and I feel like I should give it my best shot at writing different transformation-themed stories, whether if it's inflation, encasement, bondage or vore. And so, I present to you my current list of YCHs that I got in mind and which months they'll fall under:

MILESTONE - 50+ WATCHERS ACHIEVED!

It has been quite an achievement to see my watch count go over 50, and I'm happy that I reached it this year! While I haven't uploaded any stories around here for over a year due to what I explained on here before, I'm really happy that you all stuck around with me and gave my stories a read as it's quite an achievement for me to get! I don't have anything planned for this milestone or anything, but I would like to make something to show my appreciation, even if it means doing something basic like using MS Paint or whatever. I really appreciate for the chance you all gave me and the stories that you have read, favourited or commented throughout this time, and I will continue to try and write some more stories for all of you.

Hey, everyone. I do hope that you’re doing well. I’m just going to cut to the chase here as this isn’t going to be another one of those “vent journals” that I’ve previously made before, but this one is more of an update for what’s been going on for me this year. The truth is, this year wasn’t great for me or my family, but we’re finally out of the shitstorm that we’ve all went through.

I don’t know how to start this off as this didn’t apply to me directly, but the effect ran through my family. Imagine yourself this: You worked hard for a company for about 24 years as you do your job really well and everyone looks up to you, and you fully know well that you put your time and effort into it where the business is operating both physically and financially well. And then one day, one of your superiors/bosses just comes in and berates you by basically saying that you’re doing a very terrible job, sending you into full throttle of being all shaky and nervous, all topped off with you crying at the end.

This is what happened to my dad on that day when his superiors came over to visit the four sites to see how they’re all functioning. The sites are petrol stations (gas stations if you’re American), and my dad is, or was, the Operations Manager for all four sites, and I do work in one of those sites that’s just about 3 minutes away from my house by walking while my mum works at another site. On that visit, it was my dad, his superior, and another colleague of my dad checking the sites to see how they’re doing to their superiors’ standards. His superior wasn’t happy with my dad as he spoke to him in a very angry tone to say how “unacceptable” it was, asking my dad if he’s going back to his country, and also not having any form of trust towards him as he needed to check with a supplier about whether or not if my dad contacted them.

My dad was left shaking and panicking on that day as he ended up crying with one of his other colleagues, and he also went to sleep for a few hours to relax himself after that issue. I know my dad as he’s a tough, but loveable, guy that would go out of his way to help anyone out, whether if it’s to work extra hours to cover anyone from being off sick or to being more than happy to care for other people, and I told him that he reminded of me as I also get shaky and nervous as well whenever some problems arise.

Over time, things has gotten worse for him as the job that he was doing was quite challenging and sometimes stressful for him. I remember for about a few weeks earlier this year, he has gone to work from 6:30am in the morning, and I only see him coming home at around about 1:30am in the next morning, which is honestly way, WAY too much for him as I cannot imagine how tiresome it must be for him, and I became increasingly more concerned about him while everyone else in the sites were also conceded about his wellbeing.

As a result, he went off sick for a good few months due to work-related stress and anxiety, and he was prescribed with some antidepressants and sleeping medication to try and help him out. On top of this, the company has notified him that he won’t getting any more sick pay, and he has sought out some legal advice in order to make a legal lawsuit case against the company for harassment. After a few months of preparation, he has gone to court against his superior. The court has ruled in his favour that my dad has a strong case of harassment against them with the final hearing that was supposed to be taking place from 12th to 14th of this year. This isn’t going to happen as the company has paid my dad nearly £100K for him to drop the case and leave the company as it was a huge form of compensation for him working for excessively long hours, his time off and his sick pay. This was, of course, agreed and settled with my dad between them, and he’s no longer working for the company.

I guess I really “drank my sorrows” by drowning myself in some video games as I was just concerned about him as I never have thought that this would happen to him, but I’m finally glad that he’s doing better now. Like, a lot better! It’s just saddening to hear what he went through as it really felt like they just spat in his face despite helping them out for many years, and I’m pretty sure that you understand that feeling of how it feels for someone to say some negative comments about you and your hard work that you put yours effort into.

So, you might be thinking: “Gamertron, what’s going to happen now that your dad is unemployed?” Well, the thing is that by the end of January 2023, we will be moving out from Jersey (Channel Islands, not New Jersey) as we’re going to be staying in Madeira, which is where my parents lived and grew up before moving over to Jersey to meet with each other and get married. He has planned for us to work together as we establish a car hire company over there. I’ll be honest that I do love Jersey as I grew up and went to school, as well as making a few friends along the way, and I just cannot help but feel sad that we’re going to leave. I talked with my parents, and they have reassured me multiple times that we’re not leaving forever, which has made me feel somewhat better while I have a small ounce of anxiety that’s slowly fading away. I also plan to have my own path set in stone soon, but I’m taking things slowly with one step at a time.

I’m sorry for the long blabber as I wanted to keep it short and simple without delving off into too many details and explanations about things. This year hasn’t been the best for me and my family as one of our relatives sadly passed away due to old age while one of my uncles in Madeira has been diagnosed with prostrate cancer, further adding salt to the gaping wound. And I’m also sorry for keep on saying that I’ll get some stories uploaded on here this year as I’m slowly trying to clench my way back out from “video game sorrows and procrastination”.

I also really want to apologise to anyone that are awaiting for their commissions, trades or requests, especially with my Horrortober YCH group. I just lack the courage of saying anything at this point as I just feel like everyone will be upset with me if I come out from my hiding hole of video games as the group has been waiting for about a year. I feel like I just let you all down, and I really want to make it up to all of you for being here with me. I just don’t know how…

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I’ll be going away on holidays for about 3 weeks with my family, which is great for me to finally catch up with some writing!

Eh, it’s not really THIS dramatic, shocking or awe-inspiring as I do plan to open up a Discord server and have it ready for tomorrow. It’s not going to be a huge server as it’ll be more of a hangout spot, but hey! Anyone can join in!

In other news, I’ve been feeling better now. I apologise if I’ve been really slacking off from writing on any more stories. I basically got too lazy by playing games… again…
And, of course, by doing that, I ended up having a backlog of some story commissions, trades and requests, and it’s been like that for… *Checks calendar*… nearly A YEAR.

Yeah, I’m going to crack on it again. I just get discouraged from writing if it ends up taking at least for a long while like a month or so as the longer I leave it unfinished, the more I just lose the motivation to carry on as I always fear about people being upset with me, especially with the 4 users that’s been waiting for the Horrortober story YCH from last October/November. Sure, I could just be here and be like: “I’m sorry for taking so long. I’ve been distracted from playing some video games”, but I’m just going to shut up and get on with it.

I also plan to do something special for reaching over 50 watchers, which is quite a nice little milestone for me to settle in to the world of FurAffinity here! I really appreciate the chance of allowing me to set up a place here, upload some stories and make some connections with any of you, and I would like to do something that shows my gratitude towards all of you. It’s not going to be a mega story that will contain over 50+ characters to feature all of you, nor that it’s going to be some impressive artwork. I plan to do something nice and colourful where I would make one of those clouds of words/text, but have it stylised in a way where everybody’s usernames will make the outline of number 50. Even though I have a few more than 50 watchers, I’ll be including everybody’s usernames. So, there’s no need to pay for anything or sending me a message about it. It’s not much, but I would like to do something nice in return.

I want to thank you for being here with me, and I’m sorry if my gallery’s looking a little bit empty this year. I’ll be sure to get some things up for all of you to have a read through.

I'm just going to cut to the chase here: I'm taking a break from Discord for the time being as my mental health has deteriorated last night as I just felt unhappy and on the verge of crying...

No, nothing happened with anyone that's from Discord, here or anywhere else online. And no, I'm NOT implying anything extreme here AT ALL!

I'm just going to take a break from Discord and perhaps from other social media sites like Twitter and on here and focus on myself more, whether if it's playing games or writing stories as I'll be doing that during my break. If you're wondering why I'm taking a break, I just feel like I'm being ghosted and cast aside as not many people come and talk to me as I feel like I have to do everything to keep my lines of communication up as everything stops if I stop doing that. And, of course, I had to deal with A LOT of issues with other people as I often had people just slagging me off by being my "friend" before later ditching me further down the line for some stupid reasons like them being "too exhausted" or whatever the case may be. Sure, real life does get in the way and all, and I totally respect that. What I don't respect is how people just come up with some ridiculous reasons like the one I mentioned and not say anything to me rather than just giving me the block that's just straight out from the blue, or perhaps coming up with some false lies or accusations about me to make me look like I'm the "bad guy" and end up gaining respect while I'm being dragged through the dirt to no end other than being fodder for other people's attention and recognition, or a boxing bag by shoving some dirt in my face.

It's also worth mentioning that I feel like the odds are heavily stacked against my favour while everybody else's odds are stacked to their favour as no matter how hard I try, it feels like my efforts have been wasted with little to no gain while everyone else can perform some sort of "Midas Touch" where, no matter how much effort that they put in, it's an instant success with a huge instant gain at no cost or penalty.

I'm sorry for the vent again. I just hate how I sometimes get reminded of certain things that ends up triggering these sorts of memories and past experiences as everything's fine for one minute until I suddenly see and feel reminded about my past bad experiences and have it take me down. I will still carry on writing some stories as I'm NOT going to give up!

Hey, everyone! I hope that you all are doing well, even though my gallery is still dusty as usual. I’ve been getting back into writing, and it’s been, uh… months as I still need to do my Horrortober story YCH because of me constantly procrastinating with a lot of Deep Rock Galactic and some video games. I pretty much went off the beaten track here, but I’m slowly clawing my way back to writing again. It’s been quite difficult, to be honest…

I’ll clear things up here. I know that it’s easy for me to keep on making some journals and apologising, but things have been quite messy lately.

Personal Life Update - What Happened?

My life has been pretty hectic lately as we had 3 colleagues at work who caught Covid as one got it as soon as I went to watch Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (great film, by the way!) when I finished my morning shift on Sunday in April, meaning that my scheduled day off on Monday was cancelled and I had to work through a whole week without a day off until the next week. And then another one of my colleagues caught the virus a few days later, with another colleague catching it within sometime the next week after in April. I had a day off here and there, but it was quite exhausting and I guess I was sapped away from writing and decided to play games as a means to restore my energy. On the bright side, things have been clearing up and my colleagues have fully recovered from the virus. However, I’m currently concerned about my dad as his work is pretty much destroying him lately, and he’s going to be off sick from working for a month due to work-related stress. But all in all, we’ll be ok.

Holidays - Away For 2 Weeks!

After working and enduring quite a bit of stress here and there, we’re going away on holidays to Madeira for about 2 weeks! I’ll be going away on holidays on Sunday 8th May and I’ll be back on Monday 23rd May. So, I’ll be quite limited with some story-writing, but I’ll try and make sure that I’ll get something up on here, or perhaps knock a good chunk of progress on my overdue Horrortober story.

Goopday Birthday - Turning 22!

And to finally end things on a positive note, I’ll be turning 22 on 25th May this year! I do love being a millennial in terms of being born on the year 2000, and I would like to have a fun day with some friends and family!

Well, on a final, final note here, I’ve decided to open my previous story YCHs that I opened back, which was Sinktember and possibly Horrortober as even though it was a bit of a flop, I figured that I would keep them open for a long while. They’ll be open forever for now, but I may choose to close them at some point in the distant future.

It’s self explanatory, really. I’ve been heavily distracted with some games and talking to some friends that I pretty much neglected the story writing side of things. And since I’ve been away on holidays for about a week now, I honestly feel really bad right now due to how much I’ve been neglecting all of this…

I’m going to kick myself back into story writing again as I’ll push myself to do it. I’ve been feeling a lot better both mentally and emotionally, and I think it’s best for me to get back into gear with some story writing again.

I’ll be back from my holidays on 6th March, but I’ll be writing some stories here and there during this time. I need to do this!

Hello, everyone! I'm sorry for being all quiet ever since October as things were going all over the place as we got up to Christmas and all that. Basically, I got lazy, felt down and got sick before recovering and picking myself up again. But as the year 2021 has now come to an end with the year 2022 now apporaching, I would like to thank all of you for being supportive and welcoming here, as well as taking the time to read through my stories and favouriting them as I do like writing some transformation-based stories and some other fun things. I know that any forms of writing and/or literature here won't gain as much traction as some artwork would, but I will not let that discourage me from writing as I would like to take my time to upload some decently-made stories, as well as not rushing myself to create them. After all, art takes time and so does stories, you know!

In this journal, I'll be clarifying over some things that happened in the past, as well as what I'm going to be doing for the future.

My 3-Month Hiatus - Where Did I Go?

I know that I dipped during the last 3 months, and I'm sorry for that. If you're wondering what happened during that time, it's nothing serious, extreme or personal. What happened was that I often ended up feeling sad and discouraged as I see my friends and other people gain some friends, responses and even some things like artwork while I'm trying my best not to get caught up in these sorts of things. I guess I'm a bit jealous in a way of seeing some artwork with their characters as I often go like: "Aww, I wish I could have something like that", but I would never go out of my way to cause any form of trouble or issues with anyone. As a result, I basically gave myself a break away from it as I distracted myself with a lot of games and a few movies, which is quite beneficial for me as I can regain my energy and refill my gooey imagination tanks with some ideas of what I would like to write. But alas, I guess I got way too distracted with it, and I ended up neglecting myself on writing some stories. Whoops!

As with the whole thing about the Horrortober Story YCH that I announced back in October, it was quite a bit of a ride as it was my first time experimenting with something that's probably unique as I thought that doing a story with a randomised transformation trigger would help to make things more interesting rather than going by a default "get transformed into this [character] in this [transformation process]" approach towards the story! I'm still happy with the idea, and I'm still happy that it was able to gain just enough traction to gather enough interest as it was going to be called off when I had Jess only join in before Elliekitty, Coda and Regi came in with the latter two users being informed about my YCH story by Ellie himself. I cannot be any more thankful than that as I truly appreciate the support that I get from all of you, even if it means just simply reading through one of my stories! Thank you!

Horrortober Story YCH - What Happened?

In short: The story is being written, even though it's been a few months already.

Ever since I announced the story YCH in October, I needed to flick through 3 different platforms - Discord, Telegram and Twitter - as I was talking to Jess on Discord, Elliekitty and Coda on Telegram, and Regi on Twitter, which I'll admit that it was quite a juggle as I needed to briefly talk to them about how the story YCH would work, their transformation preferences, their characters and their ideal scenario that's been voted by them altogether. Thankfully, we all managed to migrate over on Discord where I set up a group chat with everyone before recapping and clarifying anything before they voted for their scenario, as well as getting their payments in late November. I know that it's already past Halloween and all, but I do want to make sure that I can write a successful story YCH like how I did for my Sinktember story YCH as it's quite nerve-wracking, yet also a fun thing to do!

Future Plans - What I'm Planning To Do

I do have a few things that I would like to do around here, such as:

- Creating a Discord server - I figured that having some virtual space online on Discord would be a great way for us to communicate with one another as FurAffinity's communication system such as their notes and comments can be a bit... delayed, to say the least. Not to mention that I constantly use Discord all the time as it's already open and available for me to use on my phone and computer, which is another reason why I always prefer to use Discord than any other messaging platform. Telegram is also a good alternative, but I don't seem to talk with anyone there, nor that I have it open on my computer all the time.
- Streaming - You may or may not know this, but I did stream on Twitch with some games such as Tetris Effect, A Hat In Time, Trials of Mana, and also Bug Fables. Of course, I kinda went into hiberation with that, but I might as well get back into doing that again. I'm not sure what would the best way for me to notify you here as I don't really want to make some journals or upload some low-quaility images in a form of a submission (I'm not really good at art), risking myself that I would be seen as spamming when I have no intention of doing that. I'll be open for some suggestions for a good way for me to notify you.
- Tidying up my queues - I really need to clear my queues up for my stories, mainly for the trades as it's nice to meet up some other people and discuss some nice ideas, but it's not nice when I look back at my queue of trades slowly piling up. And no, I haven't received any completed artwork as I told them that I need to handle my other trades first before I do theirs. So, expect some more stories being uploaded on here with some artwork soon!

Final Thoughts

It's been quite a lot of time since I've been here, and I want to thank you all for being here to watch, read and favourite my stories and coming into contact with me as I really love every small bit of contact with all of you! I may have dipped in terms of my story writing, but I'm going to regain my footing and commit myself to do some more writing on this day onwards! Thank you all for being here!
