Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time sneaks onto PS3, PS Vita and PSN
General | Posted 13 years agoThe Coop is back on Playstation platforms in North America, coming February 5th! Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will be launching simultaneously on PS3 and PS Vita.
If you buy the PS3 version of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (through traditional retailers or on PSN), you will be able to download the PS Vita version of the game from PSN at no additional cost.

Animal Crossing: Jump Out Detailed
General | Posted 13 years agoThe folks over at Nintendo Everything have been deciphering the new details released for Animal Crossing: Jump Out, which was previously tentatively called Animal Crossing 3DS. Famitsu ran a story in this month's issue about the game which talked about the new shops and schedules for said shops in the game.
Here are the specifics from Nintendo Everything:
- Now play as the mayor
- Roofs, doors, posts, fences appear to be customizable
- New furniture… including mermaid items
- New thrift shop from Lisa the alpaca
- Shoe store has been added
- As was previously confirmed, there is now a shopping mall
- This lies beyond the train tracks
Able Sisters (open 10:00 – 21:00)
- Familiar clothes shop
Museum (open 24 hours)
- Similar to previous entries
- Increase in the types of fish and fossils
- Exhibition Room included
- Museum Shop included
Gardening store (open 9:00 to 20:00)

We wanted to really start to try to make this site a real community where members have the chance to connect and game together. To facilitate this goal, we have many plans coming down the pipe, the first of which is Humpday Gamedays! These weekly meets will occur over IRC (chat) and Mumble (voice) and will help you find fellow furries to play some of your favorite games with. We'll choose a specific game or a selection of games each week so you know what you're getting into. Of course, you can always go off and play something else with another member if you find a like-minded gamer!Some events will also be streamed, and you are invited to stream them on your own channels!

Rain-Slick 3 Fanfiction Update includes Furry Pack
General | Posted 13 years agoPenny Arcade's On The Rain-slick Precipice of Darkness Three got a little bit of fur in their game this week, with a special free update that adds two very gene-altering skin packs to the game. The first is of much more relevant interest to our viewers! The Furry Pack includes Tycho as a Lion, Gabe as a Pony, Moira as an American Red Fox and Jim as a Turtle. This pack and the other one also alter the party in cutscenes.
The other pack changes each of the characters' genders, where Tycho is called Tyche, Gabe is called Gabbie, Moira is Manuel, and Jim is Benjamina.
The pack is already available on Steam and is soon to come on XBLIG.

Okami HD Coming Exclusively to PS3 This Fall
General | Posted 13 years agoWell this comes out of left field! Amaterasu will be making her new home on the PS3 coming this Fall with the release of Okami HD. Playstation.blog announced it today and had this to say:
"Grab your Celestial Brush! I’m pleased to confirm that this fall, gamers will be able to return to the land of Nippon in Okami HD, exclusively on the PS3 with PlayStation Move support. Initially released to critical acclaim on the PS2, Okami HD has the player take on the role of Amaterasu, the Japanese sun goddess, who inhabits the form of a wolf. After a tyrannical monster, Orochi, turns the world into a ruined, colorless wasteland, Amaterasu must use her magical abilities to restore the land to its previous glory and defeat the demon in charge of the destruction."

Dust: An Elysian Tail available August 15
General | Posted 13 years agoDust: An Elysian Tail finally has a concrete release date! The furry fiesta hack-and-slash action RPG hybrid will be the last game released in the "Summer of Arcade" promotion from Xbox this year. It will be 1200 MSP ($15) and will be available only on XBLA on August 15th.
If you buy three of the five games in the Summer of Arcade lineup, you'll get 400 MSP back for your patronage. Here's the rest of the weekly releases:
July 18: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD, 1200 MS Points ($15)
July 25: Wreckateer, 800 MS Points ($10)

General | Posted 13 years agoWe have just announced our planned coverage for the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2012!
This is the first year Gaming Furever has been around to cover the Electronic Entertainment Expo, lovingly known as E3. We want to go all-out for the wonderful event, which is sure to include a deluge of news, videos, and announcements from all across the industry.
We've got livestream events planned for all of the major press conferences (Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, EA, and Ubisoft) along with live shows each and every night this week where our hosts will talk about what they think are the biggest and best things coming out of E3 this year.

This is the first year Gaming Furever has been around to cover the Electronic Entertainment Expo, lovingly known as E3. We want to go all-out for the wonderful event, which is sure to include a deluge of news, videos, and announcements from all across the industry.

We're looking for an artist to do an art piece to go at the top of articles featuring video game stream videos from last night.
It'll need to be scalable to 620 x 300 pixels and feature the phrase "Streams From Last Night" on it. The theme is a fur/furries playing games on a console/pc at night. I have a few ideas, but won't spoil creativity!
I'm willing to pay $15 for this! Comment here or note if you're interested, or just go ahead and make your own version and comment here and it could be used on occasion for articles! This art will be credited on the site and see by hundreds!
