Hi my lovely friends!

Here's my promised, post-surgery update. So, I had my gallbladder removed two weeks ago and, apart from my cat thinking that stepping on my stomach was a good way to play nurse, I've been healing nicely. I just went for a follow-up with the surgeon today as well. He took a gander and he said it all looks good. I've still got to take it a little easy for like... another week? No heavy lifting and all that, but should be fine beyond that~

Hello my lovely friends!

I wanted to give you all an update, namely to let you know I'm not dead or anything.

So, unfortunately, my little hiatus on art purchases is being extended. :c It turns out the quote I received on getting my car fix was only half of the expenses. And on top of that, I had a recent, middle of the night trip to the ER for some sharp pain. Long story short there, I'm getting my gallbladder removed later this week and the medical bills for that are already starting to roll in. I'm trying to sift through and figure out how I'm going to pay for all of that. It's not... super terrible, just quite a bit of a bummer, y'know?

Anyway, I'm trying to work out payment plans or a small loan of some type. But until I can get all of these new bills fully paid for and get my emergency fund built back up (now a bit larger than last time), I'll be holding off on a new art for a couple more months at least. :c However, I do still have a couple of things that are still in the pipeline from before all of this. So, I'll still have that to post. And I'll definitely still be around, and I'll be sure to keep everyone posted. :B

Hello friends!

I wanted to provide a little bit of an update - something I want to get better at in general~ I'll be going on a bit of an art hiatus again. Unfortunately, my car is continuing to have ongoing problems so all of my funds are once again going toward repairs and the like. But no worries! I still have a few pieces in the pipeline, so be looking for more winged bun stuff. It'll just be the last few pieces for a bit. :x But yeah, I figured I should let y'all know, so rest assured that I'm still around. :3

It me again, this time with an apology~!

So, during a recent conversation with some friends, it was pointed out that I'm not the most talkative of individuals. Being that they're my friends, I was surprised it took them that long to come to that conclusion as I thought it pretty apparent. But no, what they were attempting to say is that I'm absolutely terrible at small talk and am only really an okay conversationalist when I have others around to fall on for support. Which... definitely tracks. xB I think part of it is that even when I do have something to talk about, I think everyone will be completely bored or disinterested in the topic so I usually don't bring it up.

With that being said, I thought it might be best to kind of reach out an apology for anyone that's tried to have a one on one conversation with me... really at any point in time. I hope I didn't come across as rude, cold, distant, or whatever else. It was never intended! I just usually have a hard time beyond the pretty standard "hey" and "how's it going" type of stuff. So, blanket apology. And in the future, if I figure y'all don't mind random bits of information related to my goings on and all that, I'm gonna try and get better at conversing after the "hello"s and "how have you been"s. :B

Hi friends!

So I've been working on a little world building and figured it was way past time to do some cyberpunk/futuristic bun. I managed to get some help on one of the hurdles I was facing, but I seemed to hit another wall when it comes to designing an outfit/look for Lihnov. I might have a very small amount of ideas but I'm not the most... eloquent or the best as describing outfits and the like when handling commissions. This is where I could definitely get more assistance.

Does anyone have any good inspirations pics, outfits descriptions, and/or sites that offer ideas or design examples for this type of genre/setting? Really, anything is on the table. Mesh, latex, bionic, masculine, feminine, revealing or not, accessories/tech, etc. etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can't seem to have an original design thought for the first time in awhile. x3

That's right, it's that time of the year again!

I'm working from home today and it'll be a slow day, so I'll be kicking off my last year in my 20's by getting day drunk. x3 Everyone's welcome to join, of course~ But either way, I hope y'all get to enjoy the day!

[small self rant]

As I near my birthday, I've been reflecting and I've decided that I'm sooo tired of being so stupidly shy and fearful and stuff. I'm still closeted to my family with the exception of a cousin, though I'm out to my friends. I've maybe kissed one guy and the thought of physically seeing someone/dating causes me to become the physical embodiment of anxiety. Meanwhile, my cousin is not shy, has been dating, has definitely kissed more than one girl, and came out to the family. I'm about to go shake her down for any spare/loose confidence she might have lying around.

Alternatively, gonna find a miracle cure for shyness and the like. And no, I don't think I'll be trying the "miraculous healing powers" of bleach or whatever. lol

Sorry, I feel like I should try and post more journals (and not delete the ones I do post) so I might try and get in the habit of it. We'll see. x3

I did want to give just a quick update on goings on for this bun though for anyone wondering where I've been recently. I found out my roommate was getting his own place so I was frantically looking for a new, smaller space that I could afford. I finally found something with like... 2 weeks to spare. I'll actually be moving this upcoming week/end and I've already got a few staples set up such as internet. So, once I'm all moved and situated, I'll be back around. You can still contact me via the usual methods, of course. I just might be a bit slower to respond.

So, looks like my birthday is coming up... again. Monday to be exact, and so far, all of my weekend birthday plans have fallen through. So, it looks like I'll be spending the weekend getting drunk and playing Dark Souls 2 x3
