I've set-up a bird feeder on my study's window, to increase the amount of cute in my life. It's been up for a week or two now but this weekend it's started attracting some birds! Mostly lotsof, what I think are, Song Thrushes.

I've set-up a webcam to keep an eye on what comes and goes on the feeder, and was wondering if anyone could recomend any tweaks for getting better shots out of cheap webcams and such? XD

Why is it that when I'm finally making enough money to commission some awesome artwork no one seems to be taking commissions!?

I've really been liking Wildstar and now it's in open beta I've got even more time to try out different play styles and stuff before launch.
but they're all really FUN! XD having to pick the ideal Race, class & path combo is reeeally hard.

Yesterday, I quit my job.
Today I talked my way into a new job with a £8k raise :D

Feeling pretty awesome right now :D

I Quit my job today.
I just couldn't take the bullshit from my boss anymore.
now I can actually see better, I can think clearly again,.. That place has been sucking the life out of me for the last few months..
Admittedly I don't have another job to go to yet,.. buuuut i'm working on that; got a fairly full day of interviews tomorrow and plenty more interest from elsewhere.
There's still fortunes to be made in the city :)

2013 is almost over. What a fucking year!

lots of job switching (again), lots of stress, dealing with a loved-one's cancer scare and all the associate surgery and recovery. and... well,... as someone once said "Everyone has a plan until you get punched in the face" :P

But all in all the year is ending on a higher a note than it came in on. :)

last week I Started drawing a 2 character orgasm denial based pic that was also cute raven based pun, for a friend.
It's now some how grown to feature 10 characters, one of which is a flying brain that shoots freaking lazers!!!
sometimes you look at what you're doing and just wonder "WTF!? Seriously! what the fucking fuck am I doing with life!?!? Clearly I must have done something right" XD

It's always so strange drawing someone else's character for the first time when it's a character who you've spent a not insubstantial amount of time 'getting to know' in the past XD
I think it's the fear of not diong them justice, especially when the original artist is someone you really rather like and respect.

Got a job offer! It's a slight pay-cut but I get a good vibe from the company & means I won't need to switch gyms! :)

"Hurry up and wait" As ever, that seems to be the order of things.
One place was supposed to get back to me with a yay or nay this morning but has now been put off until thursday.
another that was supposed to get back to me with a decision last week is now having me wait until who the fuck knows when because of some executive in the california (seriously, WTF is up with the US west coast that makes people so inefficient?).
aaaaaand I might be hearing back from a place today, but probably with a low-ball offer (but it does seem like a fun place).

this crap is really getting to me :(
