Grateful
Posted 6 years agoDespite the fact that life is... Let me rephrase. Despite the fact that humanity is screwed up, I'm grateful to have made it this far. I have recently filled my bucket list and I am currently grateful that I got experience what I did. Even though I didn't technically complete my bucket list, I got close enough and am grateful for who I am, where I am, who I've gotten the honor to meet, and how I feel as I go through each and every day.
Even though this a very short journal, I am currently exhausted and happy. It may be three in the morning and I may read this later and wonder what the heckles was going through my mind. I might not. Who knows? That's for future me to deal with. Goodnight!

Gift of Perception
Posted 6 years agoWhen wanting to understand; what exactly is it that is wanted to be understood? I ask myself these questions all the time. Whether it's applied to work, school, society, or even romance. There are things that I personally don't understand, and other things I will never understand. However, this doesn't stop me from either later understanding, or deciding to disclose the thought and no longer dwelling on it.
A few times, I've noticed others get upset or lash out on what they truly don't understand. To this day I still do not understand such behavior. Is it normal to lash out and get upset about what is either not understood or misunderstood? Perhaps, there may be a way to simply accept and move on, learning and understanding as time passes, no? Just like life; in which it takes time to obtain information and process it in order to apply it. Maybe, we can learn to apply the same rule to what is not yet understood. Maybe, instead of manifesting hatred and chaos from what is not yet understood, we can set it aside without the worry of knowledge, belief, and morals and instead observe and learn. Much is misunderstood in modeern days, and this creates havoc. Instead of lashing out; take a step back, check yourr surroundings, check yourself, and be willing to see from two sides. A tunnel for a mind makes perception too narrow and simple. Seeing from the possibility of a second perception or even a third perception is going to open up willingness to understand.
