Hard to believe it's almost been a week since I've moved to FL from NY. At first it was a hard adjustment for the first day but I think I've adjusted fairly well. Looking forward to spending more time with my new friends on campus and with the Jacksonville Furs. Will make for a good relaxation when I'm not doing my heavy graduate course load. Know it's been a while since I've posted anything here but I have been a busy fox. However all that hard work has finally paid off because I have been accepted to a M.S. Psychology program in Northern Florida. I am excited but a little nervous (maybe more than a little) but mostly excited to start this new chapter in my life. I finally achieved my dream of heading down to FL for school, and I'll be a few hours away from some close friends and closer to some other great friends as well. Also you can find me on my Twitter. What an amazing and surprising weekend I had during FWA. For starters, as many of you know, I wasn't planning on attending FWA this year due to the usual reason (money, classes, time). However this all changed when  CuriousKelev texted my Thursday evening that he needed a copilot to accompany him while he drives down to Atlanta (after, of all things, his flight got canceled). And so began an amazing weekend.

First was the 14 hour drive down. And boy was that an adventure (see Dojo's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOaungtsMGA). But we finally made it (as it turns out Foxes limit on car rides are 8 hours, 10 hours were pushing it). After registering, I had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful furs including  Nexrad,  loopy,  duir and so many other awesome fluffs.

Needless to say, FWA was one of my favorite cons (even if though I wasn't planning on attending). Definitely will be a permanent con!

As most of you probably know I dropped my major in biochem and changed to psychology. I'm focusing on cog neuro which is pretty much a psychology view of neurosciences. However I am quite familiar and am planning on learning the bio portion as well. So now I a neuro sci fox!!

After almost 2 months, I finally got had time to go through my photos from AC. Sorry, but work and preparing for college took up more time than I thought. My father and I took a lot of photos during the convention, and we forgot to ask the name of some of the fursuiters so I can properly tag them in the photos. My first Anthrocon has sadly come to a close and I am reminiscing in the memories from the past few days. I just wanted to thank everyone one for making my first convention delightful and memorable. I had the chance to meet many great fursuiters and people and I am grateful for all the pictures and hugs I now have to hold me over to Anthrocon 2016. During the convention I had the opportunity to be a spectator as well as a performer with my new partial suit: Dr. Frederick Fox, which I bought at the last minute at AC.

Also, anyone who took a picture of me, if you could please share your photos with me I would appreciate it.

I have two characters both of whom are scientists. Gatsby J. Husky will probally have a plain labcoat with white paws, the brown tail (he's bi colored), and white paws, and a Husky hat. Zeus Sheps probally will have brown paws, brown tail, Fredonia lab coat, and maybe a German Shepherd mask (I am debating this since it is a relalistic mask and I'm not sure how it would fit in with the costume and convention).

Wow its been a long time since I last wrote a journal entry. College life seemed to take up more time than I thought it would and while I have been on the site, (most of the time when I should be doing school work), I've never had time to do a journal update. Until now. Life as a chemistry and biology dual major is both stressful and amazing (and takes up all your time), but with finals in two weeks it's going to get interesting fast. Other than school, the only other interesting thing has been the freak snow storm that hit us and made the national spot light. Yes I know we are suppose to be use to the snow, but it's hard to keep up with 3 inches an hour and the after math of shoveling out 70" of snow. That's pretty much it, so stay tune and I'll try to keep my page updated.

So since today (June 3rd) is my 18th birthday, (can't consider myself a pup anymore), I figure I better list my birthday wishes and hope they come true, (or at least work towards achieving them before my 19th birthday). Top wishes:

1.) Pass my first year of college , hopefully with at least a 3.0. Going to be hard since I am a Chemistry Education and Biology double major.
2.) Save up enough to buy a new car (Desperately need one).
3.) Get into better physical shape, and get healthier
4.) Save for Anthrocon (or another furry convention)
5.) Actually plan and commit on going to Anthrocon (or another furry convention).
6.) Save for a fursuit (not a necessity, but would be cool to have.)


I know these sound more like new year resolution goals, but if I could accomplish all or most of these before my next birthday then hopefully my life would be slightly less stressed. It's late, more wishes later.
