New laptop that doesn't take an hour to let me access anything! I've been using my phone for pretty much everything for the past.... few years. In related news, I don't remember the last time I made digital art I liked. I've been drawing traditionally, and not much at that.

I'm volunteering at a local furry con soon -- Furlandia, May 24-26. There's a lot of work to be done yet but we're all pretty excited for it. I haven't been to another convention since last year, Furlandia 2023, and I can't wait to see all the talented fursuiters, artists, dealers, writers, and just plain furries there.

Been busy, but this time it's my fault. Much better than the alternative.

anyway, i've fixed the orientation of some of the source images in my gallery, at least as far as i can see, but does anyone know how to fix the thing where fa's thumbnailing [turns mobile images sideways/only auto-thumbnails the first image you upload and then you have to manually change the thumbnail whenever you edit the source image/whatever's going on here]

...alternatively, fixing the thing where uploads from mobile inexplicably turn sideways in the first place would work too. it's not because the original images were weirdly oriented. i've been getting around this by editing, uploading a different source image, and then reuploading the first one, but that's ugly as sin and there's presumably a better solution.

1. new date format for these things and 2. why does furaffinity not have a blacklist function? i know a user-created version exists but really? i figured that was basic functionality. tumblr has one, for crow's sake, and that site is a garbage fire as far as usability goes.

It took me until now to to realize that [blank]soffa meant "[blank]s of furaffinity", not "[blank] soffa". I don't know that I'm cut out for here, guys.
