This is My 2 Cents about the Jessica Rabbit movie - and with it, a major realization on the Controversy on the change of Jessica in the ToonTown ride.


For starters, as I express yesterday, if anything, the movie would likely be based on Wolf's 2022 novel "Jessica Rabbit: XERIOUS Business", which dwells into her Origin & as well of the Toons. I was flabbergasted to learned (SPOILER AHEAD)...

With the rights back in the hands of its author, I wonder if this includes all the transcripts for the many failed attempts to do another Roger Rabbit movie, one of which includes the fable Toon Platoon, where Roger was a service man in WWII in a Platoon comprise of Toons and met Jessica, who was serving as a Spy. This idea goes back to the 90's, during the height of the 2nd era of Animation and Disney Revival that started with the Little Mermaid and was segmented by Roger Rabbit, as many cartoon in the film would see revivals in the 90s. If so, any Roger Rabbit Canon is now for Gary K. Wolf to make, and that would have to start with the Jessica/Toons origin Novel published back in 2022.

This would explained the change to the Spy look in the ToonTown attraction after decades of having her in the Club Dancer dress in the attraction. The change, and subsequent fire storm it provoked back then, was three years ago, the year when the Novel was released.


Now, the 35-Year Copyright Reversion Clause enter into effect in 2020, two years before the change and the kerfuffle that ensued, but Gary K. Wolf seems to have held to the design rights for "WFRR?" Club singer Jessica, as is my understanding, cause he has sold merchandise in that look for years.

It is important to note, Gary, probably with the NDA now lifted, has finally expressed about this whole situation, and in the years he retain contact with Disney, he found they had no issue with Jessica in any way.

So all of this was about the Copyright and the inevitable returning of the rights back to Wolf, as he was going to reclaimed them when the 35 year clause enter into effect in 2020, two years before the publishing of Jessica's origin Novel & the Kerfuffle the change unleashed, but both Disney and Wolf couldn't speak about it due to the NDA while the talks were happening.

This would now make sense if one looks at the perspective that Gary K. Wolf, in 2020, went to Disney to express his intent to reclaim his Copyright under the 35-Year Copyright Reversion Clause about to take effect, and due note, being Hollywood (& the entertainment industry as a whole) most issues that hold films, TV shows, comics, novels games & music albums for years, if not decades, are Copyrights Issues, and that goes all over the place (looks, designs, original concepts, VOICE WORK, Royalties).

Like Hellraiser, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street and Rainbow Dash of MLPFiM.

The Copyright of Roger Rabbit, and some of the related Characters, has reverted back to Gary K. Wolf, author of the Novel "Who Censored Roger Rabbit?", due to the 35-Year Copyright Reversion Clause, which allows Authors and Song writers to reclaim back the rights of their original work. Wolf has promised new projects ahead.

His, book, "Who Censored Roger Rabbit?" was the bases for the Live Action/Animated 1988 movie, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?", featuring the late Bob Hopkins as Eddie Valiant, Christopher Loyd as Judge Doom and Charles Fleischer in the voice acting role of Roger. Much of the animation work was done by the late Richard Williams, who in the film voiced Droopy. The Film took liberties from the novel and some of the characters, brought Toons from the golden era of animation across rival studios in a Disney movie, reunited many of the still living animators of the era, as well was one of the final performances of legendary Looney Tunes voice actor Mel Blanc, who passed away in 1989, and Mae Questel who in the 30's voiced Betty Boop (as well Olive Oyl) in the Fleischer Era Cartoons voicing of Betty for the final time before her death in 1998.

Despite the film having been a hit, Roger would lag in Disney with promises of Projects that never took off, with only 3 Theatrical Shorts being made and a few cameos and references here and there. Wolf has made other Roger Rabbit stories, but these were not sequels to either his novel or film.

MERCHANDISING! MERCHANDISING .... but there was only one John Candy. That's going to be ONE hell of Shoes to fill & I am 1000% against having his character replaced by a Stand in or CGI'ed like Peter Cushing was for Grand Moff Tarkin in Rogue One.

Bit of re-organizing the upcoming of the stories.

For the Cats, what was referred to a chapters 21 (Fun Battle) and 23 (Conclusion of the Bunnies) in the previous update are combined as one now and Chapters 23 & 25 are new. Also, Main and Bunny Stories will share turns, as you now can see below.

Chapter 18 - The Fun Palace (running).

Chapter 19 - Lion Hunt: Leon is forced to face his pursuers if he desires to get back to his love ones.

Chapter 20 - Under the Fun Palace: Tina and the others are quite in a pickle and their disappearance doesn't go unnoticed by Leticia and Rowall, who are searching them.

Chapter 21 - Home Coming/The Meeting: The escapee members of the Garrino crew make it to the home of Chelsea's mother, Mrs. Cheetah, and another. Elsewhere, Ronfar and Thomas, have to go to a impromptu meeting with the master of Clawsport; Mr. Corvis. Meanwhile, Kat comes to learn there is one way to find Kalee's whereabouts.

Chapter 22 - Fun Battle (Not Final Title, I won't give the spoiler if you have been following the Cats for a long time from previous version: Hopefully, Conclusion of Tina/Bunnies story.

Chapter 23 - Breaking into the Mansion (working title) : Thanks to Chelsea, and Tara, Kat sneaks into Thomas' mansion, seeking information on Kalee's whereabouts.

Chapter 24 - Battle of the Kunoichi: Kat and Kalee face off.

Chapter 25 - Cat-scratch (No Spoiler for this one)

Now, For the Foxy Mishaps - it hit me I did not provided a Story List for what's to come. So here goes.

Roxy Hills - Karol Brandon, the daughter of Jack with Martha, heads up to north from the City, to manage a small piece of land on behest of her mother, but has to content with the troublesome local Hillbilly Hottie, a Yokel named Roxy, who see the land as hers. Not a tickle story here, but shenanigans.

Mistaken Identity - A Donna story. Again, no spoilers here, but the consequence of it serves as prelude to the Island.

The Island - (Chosen Characters here, Donna, Tasha, Vivian, Freya and Reynard, this last character was previously seeing on the Seven Page finale compilation, Pg 35, of A Jaded Pick Up).

Options: either is Gigan, Orga, or the Alpha that force Ghidorah to migrate to Earth - betcha they'll call it "Gorath", the latter, while been introduced as a drifting planet in the original 1962 film of the same name, in recent Godzilla media it was portrayed or hinted to be a monster.

In Godzilla Final Wars, it was the energy sphere Monster X/Keiser Ghidorah comes to Earth in, while in the prequel novels of Godzilla Planet of Monsters, Gorath, was is another threat the Earth alien alliance had to deal with and hinted to be a monster, as it change direction at will rather than been influenced by the gravity of the other planets. Godzilla proceeded to destroy Gorath in the same matter he fired at Ghidorah when arriving in Final Wars; this forced the Earth Alliance to abandon all plans to settle on Lunar and Martian colonies and go with the Spaceships after seeing the Big Gs potential of reach.

ANYWAYS, just a bit of heads up as I have revise the upcoming Cats and Foxy Stories Chapters.

For the Foxy Mishaps: while there will be a second Boob Story after Day at the Spa, the change will be unlike what I normally do, posting a page a week as the Story runs. What I plan to do instead is work on the Boobs comic in its entirety, then post the pages once all is completed. The reason for this minor change in my patter is because (1) there are no new Pages drawn as of yet, not even the Cover, and (2) is possible the story will likely be as short (if not shorter than) Day at the Spa, which currently will be around 18 or 19 Pages, pending how I organize those last Panels.

So this is a heads up for you on this one, if you wonder why the Boobs Comic is not being posted is because while there is a summary, nothing has being done for it yet, so it will drawn upon in the meantime for a complete comic post.

For the Cats: The Tina/Bunnies story will no doubt longer than I anticipate, which is most likely then it will be split a bit more into 2 extra Chapters, plus more additional chapters have being thought out. So it will go as thus...

Chapter 19 - Under the Fun Palace.

Okay a bit of a quick update around here - for one and starters, thank you all for the words of support to my family in the wake of my Grandmother's passing, it is appreciated. She was lay to rest today and I know she is in good hands in her rest, being with her departed love ones.

As for the mundane of us mortals, the new drawing pad has at last arrived, after MUCH delay (MILTON); its set up, tried it on the sketch pages that were left in waiting and works like a charm. Have to proceed to catch up for the next weeks to recover the lost 2 weeks.

The only plan post will be this Friday, comics only (Dunno if I can do that Tina Halloween strip now). Remainder of the Halloween art will go up next week.

I came to learn this JUST now.

On September 7th, Jason Damron, the voice of the StoryTeller has passed away of Stage 4 Adrenal Cancer, his daughter Emily Damron has confirm on a X post.

Mr. Damron was best known in the Fallout fandom as the voice of the main protagonist in the defunct WebAnimation series The StoryTeller Fallout, which start a Brotherhood of Steel member referred to only as the StoryTeller who would take the audience through the lore of the Fallout American Wasteland just prior and after the Great War. The series ran from 2013 to 2017 and produced by the Youtube channel the Shoddycast.

The show ended marred in controversy after the change of Management.

I never played the games, so when a newbie such as myself wanted to learn the lore around that time, there were two Fallout lore YouTubers you went to; Oxhorn and The StoryTeller, the latter been my initial Crash course through it and I was heartbroken when it ended.

RIP Mr. Damron, and thank you for the Stories😭
