So, I updated my profile ID, which is an older piece of art, from back when I was first figuring out my 'sona. I moved away from it as an avatar after a while, and started drawing myself in a more physically accurate way, trying to embrace a more "bearish tiger dude" version of me. I've had folks tell me they like bigger guys and that I'm just fine the way I am. It felt good.

And then I've had some, recent revelations. I've never liked the rules. the gender expectations. Looking back on my teen years and then, further along, I've been masculine because it was expected, especially because of my size and stature. But I liked girl stuff. I envied girls for their clothes and hair and makeup. And other, um aspects I guess.

So is my shell cracking? Am I announcing something here? Do my random bouts of dysphoria add up to a need for a big change? No. I think just want to be both in some ways. I'm happy with the body I have, although it could be in better shape. But I care less about the rules. And I feel more me when I let myself be um, feminine, I guess. I like to look a little prettier, and feel pretty. To be someone in between... maybe beyond actually.

SO I came back to this art of my 'sona and I realized, that the sassy tiger switchbitch was always me. Sure I'm not slender IRL, but whatever. When I drew that image, it was my ideal self, and I think it still is, even if only as a fantasy. As an avatar. So yea.

TLDR: I consider myself genderfluid.

Oh uh, art. I've been on a little break. Got a big, non-furry horror commission I have been chipping away at. Haven't been trying to take on new commissions until I get this one done. Also, figuring out the above stuff has kinda taken up most of my brain power lately heh. If anyone does want some art, I'll be happy to discuss it, just might be a little while.

Sooo in my ongoing search for video games that push the right buttons (haha get it??) good I stumbled across a couple that I enjoy.

DiDnapper 2
It’s a well-crafted game built by DiD Games, and yes, they have a thing for Damsel-in-distress there. I’m impressed by folks who are able to use RPG maker as an engine for a solid, playable game experience that’s unique in theming and story. It’s like playing a classic JRPG, but there are scenarios in which you get captured, and have to escape bondage via a minigame, and well, as a bondage enthusiast, well that’s my favorite part of the game. I actually spent hours in my party’s camp in the practice tent. Uh, leveling.
For real, the story’s cute, the art is great. I recommend it. The game is on Steam and itch.Io for 20 bucks, and they have more content coming. I give it two cuffed thumbs up!

I’ve also fallen down an addiction/obsession rabbit hole. There’s an online game called Bondage Club, made by Bondage Projects. It does what it says on the tin. It’s like a social game you might have seen in the 2000s, but it’s for adults. There are jobs to do to earn money, that are kinky jobs, or jobs that can get you into kinky trouble. There’s are shop to buy your character clothes and gear, and then there’s online chat rooms. And guys, Ive started RPing again. Just short simple link sessions. I don’t have a vampire dragon hybrid character who’s also a fallen angel, but yea. I’m feeling that thrill of mental stimulation again. This does not mean I wasn’t random folks hitting me up with UWU messages, but I may be Indulging in it more in the near future.
Down sides to BClub are there are only female characters, and little to no furry options outside of pet play gear. But hey I’m having fun being a frustrated 25 year old office lady who enjoys being a bratty sub and getting in trouble at the club. Imagination is cool like that.
Also, two cuffed thumbs up. I highly recommend it for scratching that bdsm role play itch.It’s made for a great break from RL work and commissions, which I’m still accepting and working on. And yea, if you happen to show up at BClub, and find Geargirl in a predicament, feel free to say hi, heh.

It’s funny. I’m kind of in a niche because I specialize in drawing bondage art in pencil, which I’m sure is why I’m not getting that many commissions, but I’m also offering something unique, and it’s work I’m proud of. Creating something analog, in the real world is satisfying to me. I’m thinking maybe I should offer the option to ship the art to the client. It would cost a little extra, but they would have that physical piece to appreciate, and honestly there’s a quality to the pencil work that is difficult to capture digitally. So yea, I’m gonna look into that. I may also go back and discuss shipping art to past commissioners as well. I know a couple that would appreciate it. And yea if you’ve gotten art from me in the past, let me know your thoughts.

I'm still rather proud of my "Obedience" Portfolio from 2002. It's some of my best work I think. So I'd like to do commissions in the same style.

More examples are in a folder in my gallery. What I'm offering is to do a single character, either as a sexy dominant pin-up, or submissive bondage position (hogtie, frogtie, strappado, etc). I will draw the character in pencil, touch up the shadows and highlights in photoshop, with the stylish marble background. It can be a "YCH" commission using one of the pre-existing poses, or something new.

Wow okay so the whole Covid thing has been weird. My muse just, like, dipped on me. Once I had finished the commissions I had at the time a couple months ago, no more came in. I figure the economy has affected a lot of folks, so I didn't really feel like promoting that I am open for them. I am really, just haven't been asked so I have been just chilling. I have a graphic design job so I have been focusing my energy on that, improving my skills and my workflow. I feel pretty good in that area.

I did manage to get a new laptop, and the commission work did help so thanks to you folks for the gigs! I've mostly been using it to play Borderlands 3. I guess that's been my way of coping with the lockdown. I feel kind of guilty not working on new art and posting it, but hey maybe I can convince my muse to pay a visit, and give y'all some pervy art again soon. I make no promises, I know my track record. We'll see how it goes.
