My first “Mature” page of Stacy (Just for FA’s TOS)
Posted 11 months agoBecause of the subject matter in this current page of Stacy being a bit more “lewd” than just two naked characters under a blanket on top of each other, I decided to slap a mature rating on it just in case FA has a heart attack over it.
It’s nothing that different than from a lewd panel in Sabrina Online.
You can view the page over on the site if you have a mature filter turned on…

Well… Oops…
Posted a year agoI was skimming through my current chapter of Faye Randar to check for errors, and I stumbled on one that I somehow missed…
Faye in the title page has both of her arms intact… I somehow drew Faye without her prosthetic arm. (Don’t ask me how)
I’ll try to fix that error later…

Well… I just had a small crisis…
Posted a year agoA few minutes ago, I tried to startup my old laptop. It will no longer turn on, completely dead.
I was immediately stressed out because all of my backup pages of Stacy The Cat was on it (A majority of them are unnumbered for hopeful future physical prints). After fumbling through my multiple USBs and external drives, I thankfully found another backup of chapters 1-6 on a stick. But not chapter 7. After that I checked my new laptop and finally: procreate. I had all of chapter 7 stored in a separate canvas on the app…
Thankfully I didn’t lose any comic pages… What a nice way to get your blood pressure up…

I’m Back!
Posted 2 years agoThe battery’s fixed! And it only took about five days…
I’ll upload my next page of Stacy The Cat later as well as another drawing…
I’ll also have to ask the repair place if they could help me with a small problem. There’s a small speck under the screen almost in the center…

A Short Hiatus...
Posted 2 years agoA couple of days ago, my iPad's battery started having problems. If unplugged, it would slowly drain to around 50% and shut off. Each day it got worse and yesterday it finally gave up.
Plugged or unplugged, it will only stay on for a couple of seconds, shut off, then immediately turn back on...
It's currently at a repair place and it will take a couple of days before I hear if it's the battery or the motherboard that gave up and then they'll have the parts shipped to them for repairing it...
So until then, there will be a short hiatus from uploading drawings and comics. Hopefully it won't take too long...

Large Website Overhaul
Posted 2 years agoAn update for my webcomic’s site:
Since I’m soon nearing 300 pages, I decided to archive my pages into separate links by the corresponding chapter. So instead of a long list of comics, you will now see a picture of the chapter cover with a link to the chapter’s list of pages…
I also added a small description for each chapter:

Any fellow writers ran into this? Fun, isn’t it?
Posted 3 years agoEver ran into a situation where you create a one note character for a tiny cameo with the intention of never showing them again, and after finishing the concept, you like the character enough to start thinking up ways to work them in a larger role…
And now you end up debating on going back and reworking your pages (written or drawn), or just keeping the character as you originally intended…

April 2022 Update
Posted 3 years agoI decided to startup a Ko-Fi account for anyone that wishes to support my art and comics.
So if anyone wishes to do so or to offer feedback, it’ll be greatly appreciated:
https://ko-fi.com/geekyaustin
Also, I thought I’d ask…
I am in serious need to open up and be more social, so I’m planning soon to get an online subscription going on my Nintendo Switch. I would just like to know if anyone would be interested in playing some games with me if I decide to go through with it…

Just Some Personal Gripes About My Writing...
Posted 4 years agoAs some of you may know, I have a personal webcomic that I work on every week. And unlike how some stories are written, mine was done as a single story that expanded into my own universe.
The problem with doing this however, is that I didn’t really care about how my characters acted in chapter 1. At the time, I didn’t intend to make anymore comics. Now, I have slowly been fixing these problems in later chapters as my writing continues to improve, but I sometimes feel that the damage has already been done.
I’m mainly talking about my webcomics main character: Stacy.
From the beginning, I always intended her to be nerdy, but because of the direction my story was going in my writing, as well as separating her character from Eric W. Schwartz’s Sabrina, I personally feel that I made her the least interesting character in her own webcomic. * Facepalms *
Fun Fact: For those wondering, I originally intended her main attire to be an oversized sweater and glasses with an interest in Godzilla memorabilia and manga. (You can see pieces of this original concept throughout the webcomic.)
Of course, I do plan to fix this with more chapters in the future. For example: my obsessively nerdy Red Panda Amber plays a main role in this. Her main purpose so far is pacifically to plant a curiosity in Stacy to collect toys and open up more as a nerd as well as being more care-free (Her older sister Susan also plays a part in this).
It may be possible that I‘m just overthinking it, but when most art of your side characters get more attention and their dialogue as you’re writing sounds more intriguing, there’s probably something wrong...

August 2020 Update - Looking for some tips and suggestion...
Posted 5 years agoFirst off, I finally decided to drop the prices on all my commission options.
Secondly, Thanks to a few folks on here, I have slowly been getting better at my drawing, but I would still love some advice whenever I can get it. So I ask: Where do I need to improve or do differently in my art?

June 2020 Update
Posted 5 years agoOkay, here we go.....
Commissions are officially open!
For those that are interested, all that I ask is that you read my Terms of Service under the Commissions tab and that you'll be patient with me. This is 100% new territory that I'm stepping in.
I'll be updating this journal with a customer list when needed, and depending on feedback, I might drop my prices a bit. We'll see in the future.....

May 2020 Update
Posted 5 years agoOkay, so first off: Commissions will be coming soon! I have lately been finalizing the pricing and terms of service. If everything goes smoothly, I should be ready to open them sometime next month. There are options for a sketch, flat color, cel-shaded, and smooth shaded painting. Oh, and a note for those wondering: I apologize for anyone that's hoping, but I'm not interested in drawing NSFW or fetishes, but I'm perfectly fine with doing cute suggestive drawings.
Here are the rough prices:
Head Icon: $20 (Cel-Shade, Smooth Shade Only)
Half Body: $15-30
Full Body: $25-50
Wallpaper Sized Complex Painting: $60-80
As for other news: I'm currently working on Chapter 2 of Stacy The Cat, and also a side-comic featuring my two favorite girls Amber and Rachael. I plan to share them once I get to coloring them on GIMP.
And finally, I'm open to do an occasional art trade from now and then. Just PM me if anyone is interested....

It's about time: Transformers G1 Thoughts
Posted 5 years agoAfter owning this series for about two years, I finally watched the final episode of the 1984 Transformers cartoon. (Plus a friggin' awesome movie in between two seasons.) Here are my overall thoughts on this show:
Season 1 was without a doubt the best in the series. It did a good job with introducing the main characters, side characters, and world building. I almost immediately became a fan of various Autobots and Decepticons (My favorite being the cowardly Starscream).
Season 2 was also pretty good despite the few bumpy moments. There were a few episodes that had a small drop in quality but nothing terrible. Also with this season came the series main issue that I felt severely damaged it in the end: Introducing new characters to sell more toys. Arielbots, Stunticons, etc., these new characters weren't bad. They at least had time given to them for us to know their character and personalities.
Season 3 introduces Rodimus Prime as the new Autobot leader, and as a leader, Rodimus was a very mixed bag. It really feels as if the writers couldn't decide whether Rodimus should be doubtful of his leadership or be confident in it. Heck, in one episode, Rodimus goes into depression and doubt over being the wielder of the Matrix of Leadership, realizes how important his responsibilities are, and promises to be the leader the Autobots need. Then a few episodes later, Rodimus acts like a jerk and doesn't want the Matrix anymore. Basically, if the writers were more confident in Rodimus and actually were consistent with how he should act, I think he would have lasted longer instead of them bringing Optimus Prime back. Which leads us to the worst season:
Season 4 had a few cool moments (For example: The Touch playing when Optimus uses the Matrix on Galvatron, Scorponok was pretty cool), but overall, it was a complete mess. Bringing Optimus back opened a few continuity errors with previous episodes, but that was forgiving. What wasn't forgiving was how rushed the introduction of the Headmasters and Targetmasters were. I can see the potential of these new characters, but they needed more than two episodes to introduce them. But other than the Head and Targetmasters, you also had Scorponok, and Fortress Maximus as well: All in two episodes! There was way too much going on that I honestly didn't care anymore and was just waiting for the episodes to end.
So yeah, those are my thoughts. I overall loved this cartoon and can easily see myself watching it again and again. I'll probably skip out on the final season though.
And to quote Optimus Prime: "'Til all are one!"

April 2020 Update
Posted 5 years agoFirst off, I have made a lot of progress and growing during the past few weeks. Because of the COVID-19 striking my hometown of Texarkana, I can only go to work for two days a week. Being stuck in your house can surprisingly open an entire area of your mind that you thought you would never be interested in. I am of course talking about: writing.
Secondly, I was never good at writing. I'll admit to struggling through my English classes back in school whenever writing was involved. But despite all of that, I am now taking an interest in making comics. I have already made a few gag-comics that I shared here, but this will be the first time I have ever made a full-on comic book.
I plan to share my book on here as soon as I get it proofread and fix any small issues with it. It is a 24 page comic starring most of the characters I've already shared on this site: Stacy, Alex, Sas, Rowe, and Amber.

Taking A First Step
Posted 5 years agoTo put it plainly, I'm new to this. Growing up, I have never drawn any anthro/furry characters and I never had a crush on one until reading Sabrina Online by Eric W. Schwartz a few months back.
As for my other accomplishments, I have been drawing since the fourth grade and starting back in 2012, I began to take an interest in portrait drawing. I also gained interest in digital painting and started practicing back in 2010. For my digital paintings, I use a free image editor called G.I.M.P. (The GNU Image Manipulation Program) and I paint with only my mouse-pad. I continue to practice my craft and over the years have sold a few of my portraits/paintings and even had some autographed!
What are my plans? I hope to look at other peoples art as inspiration in drawing my own, maybe make a few friends, and all-in-all, have a good time.
