Posted 11 years agoVehicles: Spacecraft: "Star Catcher" Dual engines running off of captured micro-suns;
Micro-Suns overtime enlarge due to age and require stronger magnetic capture fields over time. Eventually forcing transfer to larger containment cores and denser shielding.
As a result; Star Catcher has overtime been modified from a simple Fighter Craft;
To an M6 equivalent Corvette Class Starship.
Design based on the Argon Heavy Centaur;
Licensed from the Argon Navy and modified to fit FenWere's needs.
Abilities (WIP)
Star Core Overdrive; At expense of speed and Star Core shielding;
Middle Reactor Shielding Lowers; Allowing the two Micro-Stars radiation to ricochet;
Temporarily increasing overall power output and weapons strength.
Due to Star Core Overdrive's usage; The Micro-Stars come in closer proximity to each other.
This causes a hyper dense field in the rear of the ship where the engines located;
Massively slowing down the ship, but increasing power output and Engine Forward Shielding.
This however weakens rear shields due to interference and slows down the ship.

It is ILL-ADVISED to fly craft behind the ship in this state;
~!!Hyper-Dense Micro-Star Cores can inadvertently cause smaller craft to be pulled into the engine exhaust and destroyed!!~

Doing a bit of Fursona design; brainstorming ideas.
Posted 11 years agoWorking on fleshing out my Tech Fennec character a bit. Current write up is this.
Fursona Brainstorming
!Fiction!
Tan fennec with digitized holo-wings on back with blue panels. (See SL screenshots)
Unknown weapons currently; possibly dual daggers.
Robotics assisted healing abilities; Healing Magic+medigel/nanites.
Robotic Repairing abilities; Can tinker and wrench his own robotics; doing in field repairs of equipment and WingSystem.
Drones; Originally inspired by the Sentinels from Halo; now updated a bit with the drones from Borderlands Prequel Wilhelm drones. Unknown physical appearance currently.
Two small assistants named Luna; and Sol; Drones that help with attacking/defending/healing and general assistance. Could be Cresent Moon (Luna) and Circular shaped (Sol) for each drone? Would be unique and easy to identify?
Luna the Healer; crescent moon shape can rest on shoulder pad in a sort of docked mode when not in use?
Sol the Defender; Circular shape (like the full Sun), Maybe slotted in back slot like a Shield.
Unknown on how to customize past shape. Does not leave much to design.
Warning:
In case of emergency or surveillance; A Quarantine mode can be activated on the Wing System.
Due to RF Noise this can be activated to hide the system from scanning & beastial ears.
The Wing System closes an internal faraday cage in the WingSystem to ground through the armor; in it's low power mode it makes little noise; With a full mute provided at least one armored boot is on the ground.
Abilities:
Afterburner; boosts wing's speed; Limited uses before cooldown.
Extended use or overcharging (see HyperBurner) can cause long term damage or short term glitches and overheating; Please use wisely.
Overdrive; ADHD and focus goes into Overdrive; Fennec more likely to engage in dangerous and reckless behaviour but with extreme accuracy; Can be used to boost other abilities.
Burns out energy cells and mental energy; Raised chance of reckless behaviour.
Hyperburner; Prerequisite- Overdrive
Boosts Afterburner however damages the wings over time; burning off coolent; causing glitches past 75% system integrity loss. Must repair after event.
Extreme high speed and when lowered to more reasonable speeds; extreme agility.
When used at reasonable speeds; just can be used in bursts to provide quick direction changes.
Recommended to use in high altitude or vacuum only.

So, New Tech weekend! New Scanner Update!
Posted 12 years agoIt's been a busy weekend, and a bit on the expensive side..
I finally replaced my old trusy GalNex, Replaced it with an iPhone and my Nexus 7 is on full time Ingress duty instead of the GalNex.
Why an iPhone? Well...
I've had terrible luck with Android Phones, but awesome luck with Android Tablets, pretty much no issues on the Nexus 7!
So I wanted a phone I belive is reliable, and so far, no issues at all. Liking the iPhone *dies* Never thought I'd say that..
Along with Verizon fucking up the updates and breaking things on the GalNex, at least with the iPhone Verizon is pretty much banned from doing so. Verizon! You aren't supposed to do that to Nexus devices. @-@ This is a bit of a "Fuck you Verizon!", Supposedly they also make less money on the iPhones too. Oddly.
Oh, and a Mophie external battery pack for charging when I'm out and about with Ingress.

I finally replaced my old trusy GalNex, Replaced it with an iPhone and my Nexus 7 is on full time Ingress duty instead of the GalNex.
