Some updates:
Getting my drawing mojo back! I've been on a crochet craze until recently, and while I still keep up on a project or two right now I have no 'goals' for it unless someone commissions something. This means I can more easily divert my energy to art/drawing again like I did yesterday!

Legit on New Years Eve I got confirmation of obtaining a promotion at work, unfortunately we're also running on a skeleton crew right now, so I don't have a lot of time for art. I'm trying to do a little chunk each night however! I might also post WIPs more frequently on my Telegram Alert page! https://t.me/geisterdrache_alerts

Long Story Short :
I'm doing fine, Just been busy with holiday prep.
To those on my queue, Don't worry! I'm planning on getting to work on everything ASAP, I just need to get xmas presents done. Between a full time job and life factors, those crochet projects can take some serious time out of my schedule.
I also plan on getting a preliminary Fursona Themed Lap Blanket done for a friend since I'm contemplating crochet commissions! While I can't do things like Amigurumi [crochet plushies], I love making things like shawls and blankets and scarves.
On that note, would anyone be interested in me posting my finished crochet projects here on FA? I know they can be boring to most, but I've been proud of them and they take anywhere from 3-100+ hours to make sometimes.. feels a waste for only my close friends and family to see them.Fly On Neer

However his loss is felt and I hope that his family and loved ones can find some kind of peace in this chaotic time. I could go on ad on about how I feel but I don't need to clog a journal for clout or to get attention.
I just hope he is resting peacefully and has a good afterlife.
As for the future of Furaffinity, I'm not concerned. Unless staff says otherwise I will assume it will carry on per usual. Until proven otherwise I will not jump ship.

Posted a year agoFor context I have a hard time remembering to update things like journals anymore. I've been a bit under a rock in the furry fandom since 2019 due to some personal relationship issues and subsequent depression.
I've since been finally coming out of that long rut and putting my feelers out again in the fandom, interacting with streamers and a few small circles, getting my drive for art back, etc. Art Fight has also been a huge motivator for me.

So between Feb and now I've moved twice, once to Columbus, now to St Cloud MN!
Love it here, have a great full time job, coworkers are nice. It pays the bills but im still doing art on the side for a few bucks.

Health and Work Update
Posted 4 years agoJust letting everyone know as a reminder! I will be out of the house from the 12th to the 18th, potentially slightly longer! I will have my phone but thats about it! I cannot work on digital art while im gone!
In addition to that I have another trip that has come up I need to take! On the 25th of the month I will again be leaving to assist in moving a friend out of an abusive situation. I will be gone for an entire week regarding this as I am trailing her and her new housemates halfway to their destination to meet a friend in the middle, then I am visiting family on my way back!
As for art delays in general unrelated to this, I have been dealing with some bad physical health including a lack of appetite and energy. Ive been struggling to eat and keeping my energy up in general so I havent been able to do as much as I'd like to and I apologize. Any and all commissions WILL be completed even if a bit late and so will the PotM and Pokedex Entries. I'm going to try and buckle down and do more art than normal come march.

This would include Pinups, masturbation, vanilla sex, basic fetishes, etc.

I've been partially traumatized and put off by 18+ artwork in the past mostly because of a small handful of clients and personal bad choices I want to get past. I understand its a personal thing to get NSFW art and can be borderline intimate during the process of getting/making it. But I will alert a commissioner if lines are crossed as I don't want to become so personal with it that assumptions about our relationship past Artist-client might get blurry.
