Rearranging and clearing out gallery
Posted 15 years agojust wanted to let you all know that I'm going to start cleaning up this gallery. I'm going to take out a lot of old submissions and pretty much only leave commission work on this gallery, because my other one is for personal art. I may re-upload some things from this gal, to the other one... not sure yet... but this one will become strictly a commission/print/etc gallery.

Posted 15 years agoThat apparently one of my commissioners has gotten tired of waiting, and instead of just talking to me, wrote this:

That hurts, alot. But... yes there is truth to it... I DO take a long time.... and, as i have in MANY previous journals.... I apologize for taking so long to those i still owe.
You know that i am working on them, and have not forgotten those i owe.
To those of you who are content to remain patient with me, I thank you and I will have them done as soon as i am capable.
To those of you who share this person's feelings and are tired of waiting. I understand, and you have my apologies and thanks for commissioning me in the first place. I am happy to change the commission if you'd prefer something new, or refund you in full if that's what you'd like.
I have tried my best to be as open and honest with my commissioners as i can, and aside from being slow, if i have failed any of you, I'm am truly sorry. I hold no grudges to those that would prefer to be refunded.

Posted 15 years agoSorry that not ALL are done yet! They are still in the works! i'm just having to take extra shifts at work to pay the bills and get ready for my Wisconsin trip in early July!!
SO! here's what I'm gonna do!
I'm just gonna ship out all the ones i have done thus far (( That means i need current addresses people! ^^ )) and then ship out the remaining ones once I am finished!
to those that remain:
Thirteen: I'm getting them done best i can babe, but being as how the subject matter is very foreign to me, I might be a little slow on getting them to look just right!

Posted 15 years agoAs you guys can see, i AM finishing up the last of my commissions and i promised to have them done by the end of may, but I may need to go one week over that into June because a lot of shit hit the fan here these last 2 weeks.
I'll be sending everything out after i get paid on the 15th~

I am never gonna take on that many commissions for that cheap again! Aggh! That was a nightmare! LOL Not that almost all of my commissioners haven't been AMAZINGLY patient and kind to me!

Anyway! I am starting to get run down at my job, and seeing as how it's very hard to find a job right now in our economy, I am going to be re-oping for commissions in June in hopes of making money for rent and bills that way!
That being said... because I know how i am about commissions, I am only offering specific things:
Figure Study Portrait in which I draw your character in a typical figure study pose.
* All I ask for is a ref of your character of choice, and tell me Sexy or Tame. That's it! no other specifics! I get bogged down and uninspired with TOO specific of details! IF your character wears a specific piece of clothing or jewelry all the time, that i can add.. but nothing more. This way you get great art, and I can get it done quickly and efficiently!
Beddy Badges where I draw a chibi of your character in a one-piece PJ.
*These are all colored, but lamination is extra. You also get to choose the 'theme' of the PJs.
And that's all for now... I don't want to get into anything too complex just yet...

Commissions are hard for me to do, because i get bogged down and it stifles my creativity... plus my life has been a hurricane lately, but i won't bother you with that.

I was curious... So many people who comment on my work or catch me on IM say that my art style is so 'unique' and 'different'... and I just don't see what's so special about it...I feel I'm rather, I dunno... common.
I'm not looking for anyone to talk me up or make me feel superior, not at all!! I'm actually just hoping to gain some insight on what it is specifically that you, my friends, fans, and watchers like so much about my style.
Is there anything i could improve on? Or things you think are special to my work alone?
Please let me know your thoughts and opinions! My fan's insights mean the world to me!!

Life on Hiatus
Posted 16 years agoTo the remaining people I am finishing up Commissions for. DO NOT WORRY!
I'm so sorry that it's taking me so long... especially to those who took part in my $10 sale.. I know you've been waiting a long time and your patience and understanding means the world to me. I hate feeling bogged down and rushed, especially when I'm already stressed in life... So thank you again for understanding that life happens and that i am good on my word. You will get your art and it will be the best of my quality!
I'm moving into a new home on Dec. 1st and still need to pack ....<.<;; So that will be taking up most of my time in between going to my 2 massage clinic jobs. I'm also having to re-home both my cats ( TxT ) and my room mate and good friend just moved away from me to go home herself... so... I'm a bit frazzled and stressed out. My artistic muse is on the never back burner at a low simmer, if you know what i mean. I know once I get into my new home and settled in my own space, I'll be producing much more art, much faster. I will do my VERY best to have all the commish I have left on the $10 and Regular lists done before the new year! Again, I thank those who continue to have patience and understanding with me in this! if any of you who are still waiting would like to CHANGE your commission at ANY time before I post it I completely understand and if you note me I will be happy to draw whatever new picture you have in mind!!
Thank you again guys, I'll be on to comment if anyone has concerns or questions, but I will be loosing net access for a few days to a week while I move officially and get the cable transferred over... I'll update you when that happens though.

Hey! The Swine Flu Came Through For Me! 8d
Posted 16 years agoSo because I vomited twice this morning and didn't wanna go to work, my boss is now convinced I have the swine flu and therefore, MUST stay home for the next 3-4 days!!!
Oxo I don't.... HAVE... the flu...
What she fails to realize is that I'm under a great deal of stress at home, my knee and body is fucked up, and I've been working my ASS off for her 12 out of the last 14 days!!!
Of course I'd vomit under those conditions!!! My body is TIRED, not sick! lol
Granted.. I AM sick... but with the same chest cold I get EVERY year at the beginning of Fall. I don't actually have flu symptoms... LOL
But she was really sweet about it, and although I'm not getting paid for my 'mandatory' time off ( ;^; *piv* )I AM going to enjoy a bit of rest, FINALLY, and finish up my commish work!! I even went out and bought more card stock today!!! Look at me go! 89
So yes!! I will be working on:
Shadow's, Ceredwyn's, Thirteens ( though.. those are gonna take awhile Oo;; ) Blizzardfox, Stephywolf, WolfessSynn, and Blaron''s commissions, as well as at least ink the ones on the other list!! So fear not!!!
Plus my laptop is now running again, so I will hook up my scanner and get nice crisp images for everyone!

Posted 16 years agoSorry I haven't updated this in awhile. I was out of town for a week in New York at my Uncle's wedding (( so no work done there )) and had to double up my work load at the massage clinic so that I could make up money for that last week... Needless to say... i haven't been home much, or drawing. I have one day off tomorrow (Sat.) and am using that day to sleep and recover... I have to work again Sunday and Monday... but I have Tuesday and Thursday off... so I'll do my best to pump out the rest of the line art one those three days (( Sat, Tues, Thrus )) and some colored ones as well...
I AM truly sorry that this is taking me awhile to get through... but honestly, the job is what is paying the bills right now... so the commish are still cooking, but on the back burner as it were.
I hope you all can understand and continue to allow me your patience until i get through all these. i will only open commish again once I have all the others done, and then only a few slots at a time... I want to get the trades and kiribans i've promised done too...
So once more I appologize to those of you who have noted me and are getting upset... I'm trying my best... and to those who have been calm enough to know that I'm good on my word and will get them done when they're done, i thank you.

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK ME ON FOR A COMMISSION!
I'm plugging away at them every day and hope to be through the lot within the month!
But... now that this has helped me advertise and I have a developed new style... I'll no longer be giving my art away so cheap.. because frankly... I'm REALLY jipping myself for the quality of my work and the amount of work that goes in to each piece...
SO! I AM STILL TAKING COMMISH!
But any new ones will be placed on a different list and will be on a new pay scale. Sorry if this pisses anyone off... but I need to make money somehow... <--- still unemployed.
And really, for the quality of my work and the fabulous coloring my partner does on them, I think it'll still be worth the final price. I'm not going to charge a TON... just a reasonable amount! ok?
I'll set up a new price guide soon ^^

However, I do have a new inking style and it takes awhile, but I think it's worth it! I've been popping out about 5 of the commish per day...
MY COMMISH JOURNAL WILL TELL YOU THE PROGRESS OF ALL MY COMMISH! PLEASE DON'T ASK ME FOR UPDATES OR IF I'M DONE BECAUSE I'M PUTTING THE STATUS RIGHT ON THE JOURNAL! I FEEL HARASSED WHEN PEOPLE BUG ME FOR UPDATES AND DON'T READ!!! ALSO, DON'T ASK FOR WIPS!!!! THESE WERE ONLY $10 AND I'M PUTTING ALOT OF EFFORT INTO THEM FOR YOU ALL, SO BE HAPPY WITH THE RESULT OK? CONSTANTLY STOPPING TO UPLOAD WIPS SLLLOOOWWSS ME DOOOWWWNN! I HAVE MANY MANY COMMISH AND AM DOING THEM IN THE ORDER EASIEST FOR ME TO GET THEM OUT QUICKLY... Posted 16 years agoThat's right... I'm no longer at my old job which is both a blessing and a curse... I HATED that place with a deep rooted malice, but alas... I have no income now and I want to have a safety net for the end of the month when rent and bills are due!
So, I'm asking: PLEASE HELP!!!
I'm giving away cheap commish!!! $10 FOR ANYTHING!!! I'll do a sketch, ink, or color of up to 3 characters on standard 8x11 paper of anything for only $10!~ My Laminated badges are now also dropping to only $5!!! I need as many as I can get and am trying to save up at least $500-$1,000!!! That's 50 to 100 commish up for grabs!!! And I'll do multiple commish for people too! I needs the money help!!!

I'm tired of all the bickering going on about them... people claiming specific rights to the icons when they make their own, yadda yadda... I'm not going to point fingers...
I'm shocked and happy that the joke between my mate, friends, and I became so popular... but I'm done fighting over who started this idea. I never stole, it was a private joke that has now been soiled by being popular and I'm letting it go...
If you still want to make one of your own, I'm happy that you do and have fun with it... They're not hard.
I'm just done trying to fight for something I was giving away for free and for fun... it's been ruined.
Once more, I'm sorry to who I didn't make an icon for.. but they are not hard, so I'm sure you can make your own... Or find someone else who's making them.
