Amassing 3DS friend codes.

Wii U owners.
Posted 13 years agoAnybody have one? Leave a comment here or note me with your Nintendo ID or whatever. Trying to figure out how the friend request thing works.
Cheap commissions.

Open for commissions.
Posted 14 years agoI'm a little strapped for cash, but more importantly, I'm looking for something to get my creativity flowing better. I haven't written much of anything in a long time. Hopefully bullying my muse works out a bit better than ignoring it.
I can't guarantee results right now, and of course there will be no financial obligation on your part for unfinished products, but I'm opening up for a few commissions of negotiable length and detail. As before, I'm really open-minded, willing to do just about anything in the realm of fiction, though I do reserve the right to politely refuse something based on content or my own lack of interest.
Anyway, send me a note (or comment here and I'll note you) if you're interested in my florid, overwrought prose, and we can work out a price for whatever it is that you want.

Pokemon.
Posted 14 years agoI have Pokemon White, and I just got access to the friend code function. Don't really know much about it, but there's that.
Note me your friend code, or just leave it in a comment here, and I'll note you back mine, so maybe we can battle, or trade or something.

#87 - You're a way nicer guy than I initially gave you credit for. My snap judgments can be wrong, I guess.
#4927 - I appreciate the things you did for me when I visited your area. I don't hold any grudges, and I hope you can understand why we can't really be friends.
#406 - I feel like I should know you better, given how long ago we met. It's a little strange when two aloof people get together, I guess.
#9998 - Your character design makes me really sad, sometimes. It's really well done. I don't know you well enough to comment on much else.
#6979 - You're my oldest friend, and probably the only person on here I'd call myself 'close' to. You're inspiration, motivation, and a really great guy rolled into one.
#5 - You pick on me a lot, but you're genuinely the nicest person I've ever met. No motives, no drama, or anything. You're just a sweet guy.
#4 - Why don't we talk anymore? You're another one of those extremely nice guys that shouldn't be hanging around a grim, surly old dog like me.
#224 - You were nice to work with, but most of what I know of you comes from other people. As such, I think you get a little too wrapped up in popularity, but by all accounts, you're a good guy in my book.
#6247 - Again, I don't know you well enough to comment on much. You're very friendly, despite the rough time you have with things; friendly enough that I don't really know how to respond, sometimes.
#4257 - As far as I know, this is the first time I've ever seen your name before. Your profile says you're a writer. You should post something.
#38 - We got off to a weird start. I don't know if the weirdness has entirely settled yet, but you've seen me at my worst, and it means something that that impression isn't the one that stuck. I'm glad we're friends.

1 to 9999 meme.
Posted 15 years agoStill alive, nothing much of note going on here. Working on getting some stuff written, but also working very hard in other aspects, which, for some reason, is kind of stifling my creativity. Life marches on, fortunately.
Send me a note with any number from 1 to 9999 and I'll update the journal with something I think about you, referring to you by your number. I picked this up from a couple of other people. I don't know why you'd be concerned with what I think of you, but go ahead and note me. I'll be honest.

Crime doesn't pay?
Posted 15 years agoI wasn't going to talk about this here, but what the hell, I need to get that depressing journal off my front page, plus people keep hounding me to talk more. If you don't wanna read self-aggrandizing thing in which I talk about how great I'm feeling today, go ahead and delete this nonsense.
I was a total super crime-fighting badass and stopped a robbery earlier today!
My car was almost out of gas, and I wanted some cranberry juice anyway, so I stopped at a little backwoods gas station on my way home from the country. The country. That's what they call it. While I was hovering around the cold drink case, some dude wearing a ski mask comes in and moves past me to the register. He pulled a gun on the poor girl, she panicked and started crying, fumbling with the register to try and get him what he wanted so maybe she wouldn't get shot.
I was near enough to be able to do something, but he was completely turned away and not paying any attention to me, so I slammed my shoulder into him and wrenched his shoulder up behind his back to get him to drop the gun. We wrestled somewhat, but he was just flailing around, and I was bigger than him, so it wasn't too hard to get him pinned down.
Held him there until the police showed up, they took my name and filed a report or something; they wanted to do some kind of story on me about the whole thing, but I declined because I don't really want to be sensationalized (even though I'm talking about it here :D) just for doing something good. The concept just makes me uneasy; maybe I'd just get embarrassed, I dunno.
Anyway, these things happen, and I'm glad I could be there to make a difference this time. Even though it was a little reckless.
Enjoy a much happier journal entry.

Sorry.
Posted 15 years agoI've been pretty antisocial for the past week, and I'm sorry because it's lame. I know, it can be hard to tell the difference where I'm concerned, but I do have a good reason for it this time.
After 13 years as the most awesome part of my life, my big doggy died last Tuesday. He slowed down a few days before it happened, so I kind of knew it was coming; but I took him to the vet, just in case, and he told me there was just nothing he could do. Too old, nothing to be done, but wait for it to come. At least he wasn't hurting.
As far as deaths go, it was pretty ideal. He climbed up on my bed, curled up against my side for nap time, and didn't wake back up. Nothing hurt, no loneliness, and a long, happy life with someone who loved him very, very much.
It's been rough going, but we move on. I'm trying to as well.

San Diego.
Posted 15 years agoI'm gonna be in San Diego from the 25th until the 30th. Any of y'all wanna have lunch or dinner or something equally delicious? Note me or something.
More commissions.
Posted 15 years agoOkay, I got some time again and I think the last batch went pretty well (yay watchers), so I'm gonna open up a few more slots if anyone else wants commissions. Send me a note, or comment here and I'll send -you- a note, and we'll work something out.
Once again, I have very few limits (I'll let you know if you hit one), and even if I don't have experience with or knowledge of a certain facet you want written about, I'll do my research and make it as authentic as a noob can. Gimme some love.

Posted 15 years agoYeah I said it, motherfucker.
Okay. There was a pretty good response to this, so I'm gonna give it a go. I'm not going to charge anything extravagant. I know the written word isn't exactly a highly sought-after thing around these parts, but if you want your smut to flow from my sexy, sexy hands, give me a note, and we'll work something out.
I don't have many limits, BUT if you hit one, I will (nicely) let you know. :>

Commissions?
Posted 15 years agoDo people actually pay guys like me to write smut for them? Does that work? If so, would anyone be interested? Is there a market for this?
I was under the impression that visual stuff was the only thing people would pay for, since reading requires so much of a time investment and effort.
How much do people charge? Like, per page, or per-timespentworkingonit?
