So, for some time now I've been considering getting a more complete fursuit than the "dragon pants" I currently have; I'm about 90% sure I'd only get a partial, but hey you never know. In any case, for any of you guys who DO have fursuits, when do you suit up? Do you ever wear your suit outside of a furry convention or a group of furry friends, and have you ever run into any epicness or trouble as a result? I do have a small interest in hitting the town in suit just to see how people react, and possibly to join (start?) some fun stuff like a furry walk at the zoo or furry bowling or something. I've watched and read online about fun and not-so-fun stuff related to wearing fursuits in public; do any of you guys have any particularly epic/troubling/fun experiences you'd be willing to share?

Or, if you don't have a fursuit and you feel like wasting a few minutes, what kinds of things do you think would be fun to do in public in-suit? Or would going out in public be the absolute last thing on your list?

If I were more trollish, I'd post this on every single dang message board, blog, or what have you whenever I saw people spelling "definitely" with an "a". For some reason, that's one thing that irks me to no end... like a hangnail that is just big enough to notice but just small enough to not be able to reach!

Shout-outs to everyone I bumped into and/or met for the first time, too. It was great to see you guys again and/or meet you. (See again and meet for the first time... hmm, temporal anomalies detected. Must jettison sanity; erp, already gone!)

Oh, and the FCN'11 room keys are rad. Furry keycards = epic win!

So I just checked the early registration deadline for MFF and found out it's just a couple days away. I haven't completely made up my mind about MFF yet, but I'd love to go if I had some fellow furs to carpool and hotelpool with. Anyone who reads my journals (this is the third ever... count it, third!) planning on going?

And for what it's worth, I practically live next to Route 80... so if anyone is going west through northeast Ohio via the turnpike we could do some serious carpoolage. Or not-so-serious, perhaps.

Just registered for FurFright 2010. ROAD TRIP TO CONNECTICUT TIME!

It's funny how quickly the "post con blues" can hit you... almost immediately after pulling out of the parking garage I started feeling it, and while doing some grocery shopping on my way home I stopped a few times to think about how much fun the con was. I'm a horribly introverted person, so being with so many people for such a long period of time is exhausting for me... but at the same time, I met a lot of really nice folks and being suddenly disconnected from them all is kind of a shock. Ah well... one of these days I'll figure out how to come out of my shell!

So yeah, in other semi-related news, I'm going to actually try populating my account here with my old artwork. With any luck, it'll be the kick in the pants I need to pick up the pencil again and get drawing!
