Current plans for the day:

3. Dress up as a priest and go bar-hopping with guys dressed in drag as nuns!

I got the back half of the styrofoam removed from the solid head, and hollowed out a channel from the eyes backward before removing the eyes. I still need to glue it down, but at 9pm I went to bed so I could get up this morning to head out for the Verboort Sausage and Sauerkraut festival... so I'm off to do that before I come back and glue it down so I can wear it out tonight!!

Working on my tiger head tonight. I got the full-body furry tiger costume for $99 at the year-round costume shop this Halloween, and the head needs to be gutted to I can wear it as a mask instead of a hat. Hopefully I will get it done before tomorrow night to wear it out to an event!!

Tonight was a kick-ass concert :)

We had two opening groups which were kind of... iffy... Keep in mind that the headliner was Lords of Acid. So the first group up was, I kid you not, half-pregnant looking skanky white-trash ho's that didn't necessarily have all of their teeth still.. It was like a train wreck, or a multi-car accident- no matter how much you want to look away you just.. can't... stop.. looking...

I managed to come away from it and talk some w/ my friend Lem (who scored talking to the venue and tour manager for Lords of Acid to bring in his SLR and get a press pass :) ). SO we weather the storm of the skanky openers and then the second group was a single act that was essential tracks being mixed w/ synth on stage that reminded me of club nights in the mid 90's that brought a tear to my little black heart :)

He had a look that was a cross between a dark elf and a goth. He had a military-esque top with strap after strap straight across the front in layers that were one long all the way across, then a half-way strap, and so on all the way along. He had either a mask or makeup on that covered most of his face in black, and had elf ears on that were all black :)

The next group up was a favorite of mine from Australia which is Angelspit. They almost didn't even get to perform in the US because they could get a visa for Amelia, and then like last-minute all secret-agent like they had a meeting in a park with a woman in a trench coat that handed over her visa to leave the country and go on tour...

They put on a fucking awesome show like they always do, and had a guitarist with them who was going to be the only way that Angelspit was going to be performing at all up until the final secret go-ahead was given!

Lords of Acid come up and I was over talking with Amelia and Carl (a.k.a. Zoog), who are amazing. If you get the chance to, sit down and talk with them about some of the stuff they've done, and will do, etc. They used to import magazines for goth / industrial sub genre from Portland, for one, which is one reason they love coming to Portland so much :)

My friend Phil finally showed up in time for Lords of Acid to be on stage, and so I got back into the front / center for them, and it was an amazing show. Took lots of video and pictures of them playing ^_^

So the more I see posts for this from people I Follow, I have decided I need to get paw 'gloves' that have clear acrylic claws in the tips, and that are led-lit :)

So if anyone knows of someone that has a commission spot open that would be awesome!!

I have awful congestion which exists in the back of my throat my nostrils, and everything in between those two places :(

I'm making some animal cuffs for those that might want them I would need to know what animal(s) you want and what colors :) Also, possibly a measurement of the circumference of your arm/wrist so it's not too big/small...

I awoke early in the morning (okay not really, it was like 10:30 but work with me). The tyger swishing his tail all the way there, wind sliding effortlessly off the leather bracers guarding his wrists, the only normally exposed portion of his upper body while riding, everything else protected. Having slain the even food beast, he returns victorious! This was rather difficult to do too, especially to find heavy whipping cream and cream cheese still on the shelves early Christmas Morning?

Hands: gloves with claws on them that are clear and allow for led light to be transmitted for light shows at raves. Either a full kit with access to switch out the led lights, or with room to put a complete led drop light that sits next to the claw. Pads on the paw.

Arms: Cover from wrist up to shoulder, but give enough over-the-shoulder to cover putting a tank top overtop of it. Left arm 2/3 up from the elbow between the elbow and shoulder needs to have a tattoo drawn in that is listed below with a single red rose and a symbol nestled into the rose.

Legs: long enough that I can wear trip shorts and have my legs covered. There should be the kanji for tiger worked into the tiger stripes on the inside of the right leg, centered on the calf muscle.

Feet: Pads on the bottom of the feet. Right leg, halfway between the ankle and knee, needs to have the kanji for tiger worked into the tiger stripes on the side of the leg.

Tail: The tail that Murrkurie has is 2’ long, and a 6” circumference, that seems to sit about right. If it is curled into a ‘life-like shape’ then it could be longer, but if it hangs loosely I don’t want it to be larger.

Body: White belly, stripes to match the print from Jan Henderson linked below. Centered in the middle of the back the stripes need to be shaped like the triquetra that is linked. It does not need the dual-layer though, only single. It should look similar to tiger stripes, but with the obvious triquetra pattern.

Head: life-like depiction of a tiger, moveable jaw, glowing led eyes in it, whiskers, a single earring loop on each side that is 3/16” in size for a 4 gauge earring, 3 heart-shaped tears worked into the stripes of the left eye. I’m okay with it sitting normally on the head, or being higher and looking through the mouth. I have seen some with led lights in the eyes, and I think it would be nifty to be able to have. The neckline should go further down than the neck so I can wear a normal shirt with the second button undone like I normally do.

Head-covering for raves: Something that would leave my eyes and lower half of my face open, while still covering my head and putting the tiger face on my head instead of my face. I have contemplated a full mask and decided against it, because compounding the issue for a mask is it needs to be something that I can wear along with my glasses, and most masks are awkward at best with glasses :(

I really like the partial that Monoyasha (@FlurryCat) put together for Kita (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4600307/ ), and looking at her work, I think that this is the level of detail that I will want for the eventual full fur suit. Especially the led work to have glowing eyes ^_^ I know that in the near future I want to put together something simple for a tiger head-piece for raves that matches the description above, rather than per se the full head because I think that would be WAAAY too warm in a venue with a few hundred/thousand people ^_^

SO I was thinking about how I have gloves waiting for me in my mailbox to pick up once the apartment office is open, and the fact that I currently have my computer hooked up to the TV...

Set up a webcam to be aimed where I and moving my hands, and set the output to the TV instead of my laptop... that way I can watch on the TV what I'm doing with my hands :) Instant feedback!

We put the blacklight reflective ink in tonight, I still have the plastic on my back. The red, of course, looks awesome. The purple will be interesting to see what happens, because it is a mixture of the red and blue, so I hope that it works out correctly to mix colors like the pigment mixed in the ink cup. The only one I'm worried about is we went over the tiger striping with white/clear which will be invisible under normal light and shine under the black light. I am worried about it because the pigment portion seemed to be solidified on the bottom of the bottle, with only part of it being liquid still. So we gave it a shot and my artist is ordering more ink and in two weeks we'll give the white a second shot. I'll take a photo tomorrow after my back has had a single day to heal instead of now with the Vaseline and plastic on it still.

So... this weekend we had the family reunion and it appears that there was some strange things in the air that just don't make any logical sense.

Here are some of the things that we have figured out that have happened that just don't make any sense. Keep in mind that there were essentially two families there, one whose reunion it *was* and a couple people from another family, therefore the confusing references will be 'the family' for those of us who were supposed to be there, and 'the other family' for those that were not... Anyone mentioned here for what they experienced is someone that is a close personal friend of mine and is in the family.

Person A:

Kept not being able to find anyone who was in the family, specifically B. Person B would just mysteriously be gone instead of him being able to watch over his son. A apparently also grabbed B's butt at one point and B reacted completely uncharacteristic and was non-violently negatively surprised for someone, in particular A, to have grabbed his butt.

Person B:

Has memory of only a few specific tasks from the evening. To begin with was taking care of someone that was sick before, during and after the naming ceremony (having been pulled away from that to get a new name from A), taking some pictures of lights, and then doing light shows for people who were sitting at the main couch. He apparently had two conversations with A that he doesn't remember, and a conversation he thought he had with D was actually with A. For B's recollection, the entire night was spent doing light shows at the couch, or taking pictures of lights, and not being anywhere else or doing anything else.

Person C:

Negative energy reaction right from the very start of being at the house we were at. Not involved in most things due to not feeling well, but had a conversation with B where she knew that B was not himself at all.

It seems as though something was effecting the people there, and that there was control/manipulation of people going on on a much more metaphysical/cosmic level that should be able to happen due to the people involved's natural barriers in place. Specifically the disappearing of people, events supposedly happening that involved people in concurrent dual existence, and a lack of specific types of events being remembered by B.

I am back and conscious again from the rave-family reunion. We were up all night raving away doing light shows in the dark. It was a fun evening, and a little tired and flat of emotion right now, but that should hopefully even out and have myself back to my peppy normal self relatively soon...

Not really an option for this year since it's already August, but it might be something to think about for next year.... I might even need to see if I can't put something together for next year... It has got me started in thinking about putting together something for a fur suit, at least a head... About that time again... sometime this week I will see about bleaching my hair. I will be off at a convention this weekend, so I'm not sure I want to be in the 'fresh wash-out' phase of the purple dye for when I am in a hotel.. ^_^

I haven't written on here in a long time, but I figured I would update that my next color touch-up appointment will include blacklight-reflective ink ^_^
