UPDATE! - NEW COMMISSION GUIDELINES

After I've posted the new guidelines a week ago I've received lot of questions about the VAT/tax code, especially from people from the US, since they have never heard of it and where they could have found one.
So I've asked my accountant to dig deeper into this matter and it turns out the US equivalent for the Italian Fiscal code it's the Social Security Number (SSN). Or the the National Insurance Number issued in the United Kingdom. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_fiscal_code )
Anyway a code that identify you as a fiscal entity, regardless you having a job/activity or not.
However, due to US inner policy that seems to discourage to easily give away the SSN, my accountant told me people from this Country will be able to give just their name and address.
Here you can check the new Comm sheet, where I've highlighted that. The remaining points remain the same as the previous update.

As previously stated, I've updated my commission guidelines to fit Italian fiscal rules.
Please check the updated Comm sheet in my gallery, where I've highlighted what changes from now on. Basically, the 2 major points are the following:
1) Due to Italian taxation system I have to register each order with an official invoice that has to satisfy the required infos by Italian regulation. This means I need some of your personal data to fill the official invoice. (Your data will not be shared outside the Italian Internal Revenue). So, in addition to usual stuff, I need you to state in you mail:
- Your first and last name (+ the nickname you want to be referred in public when I post the comm).
- Your domicile/ residence address.
- Your VAT number or your tax/ fiscal code.
2) All orders will be subject to a surcharge to pay off taxes and PayPal fee over the transaction, as the following:
COMMISSION PRICE +10% (tax and fee) + 2,30 USD (tax stamp) = total price
(EXAMPLE: if your commission's price it's 100USD, you have to pay a total of 112,30USD)
All the amounts will be properly stated on the PayPal invoice you will receive.
I'm aware these new conditions may discourage some people from future requests, but unfortunately I simply cannot do any different, or I'd be a tax evader. I'm sure you all understand, and I hope we'll be able to continue this business relationship.
I will open a new commission batch for next week (as usual, posting a new journal) to restart the engine and see how it goes.

Commissions suspended due to… TAXES!

The good news it's that, since I've started to take commissions in, your response has been amazing and I can't thank you guys enough about that.
The “bad” news is that's been so amazing I can't avoid anymore to deal with it under the fiscal point of view. And Italian taxation system and bureaucracy suuuuuuuuuck…
So commissions are suspended for now, until I've checked with my tax consultant how to deal with it to regulate it. Unfortunately I can't exclude this will cause surcharges and/or making the commission procedure more demanding/complicated.
I hope to wrap things up for the end of summer, and maybe present you the new commission system in September.
I hope I can give you good news by then.

I've received more than 30 requests (more than the lat time) so obviously a lot of them can't be picked this round, but it's awesome all the interest and support you're showed to me, and I'll do my best to make things work and to open slots once a month.
I will now proceed with the selection and will contact you to confirm your slot and the price in the next days.
Obviously, if you were not selected this round and you want to try for the next one, you can just send again your previous request: like I've said, there were a lot of requests, so it's not like your submission was rejected because I didn't find it interesting… I simply cannot do all of them, and I had to leave out some of good ones.

Out from the Internet for...August?

good news and bad news :P
Good news (to me :P) it's that I'll be on vacation by this saturday untile the end of the month, more or less.
Bad news it's that out of home I'll be without my usual connection: the new internet pendrive seems to give problems just to my dear, OLD, macbook. :/
I don't know if I'll be able to fix it or not. Worst case scenario I'll be forced to use another laptop from my parents or my brother… Whatever the case I'll be unable to stream or also be online as much as I wanted.
BTW I'll still draw and find a way to post something during these weeks :)

Changing submission thumbnail anyone?

I'm trying to change one of my submissions thumbnail, but apparently FA refuses to do it -_-
1) I clicked on “change thumbnail” in the submission page, browse the new one, but when I click on submit FA ignore the new thumbnail and shows the old one again.
2) I also tryied to trick it :P
I changed the main file, submitting the thumbnail instead of the artwork (so FA uploads it as a submission). Then I changed it again with the real artwork, but un-checking the “create a new thumbnail from the new file” voice.
But again, FA did as it pleased, and changed the thumbnail too, returning to the starting point. -_-
Am I stupid or anyone else has the same problem? Any suggestion?

I apologize already if when streaming I'll be a little absent on the channel chat: I'm already pretty slow at drawing, I don't want to make it even worse XD
I'm not the multi-tasking type :P I know a lot of people draw while listening music or watching a movie, but it just doesn't work for me, sorry -_-
