How this group is being set up
General | Posted 13 years agoA lot of questions have come up about the location of this group.
People don't want to join because they don't live close enough.
This is not true, and I hope the following explains this groups goals and intentions better:
This group is International, ANYONE can join.
I thought it would be very interesting to bring everyone together through a common interest,
and see the results of hunts from places I have never been.
Its a good way to make long distance connections, as well as learn about
the history and culture of other places, even if they are just a few states away.
How This Works:
So basically, as members join, they are placed into a section based on the area they reside in.
Each of these sections will be, in a way, its own independent mini branch of the GHIFurs.
Each will have its own leaders/managers/tech equipment.
This is not to say that someone from South Carolina couldn't join a hunt in North Carolina,
the sections are simply a way of coping with distance and making sure everyone
has a chance to be involved, even if they can't travel far.
Updates:
- I have added a couple more rules
- I have added a section on the membership form about being a leader/manager of your area.
If you have any further questions, please ask C:Welcome
General | Posted 13 years agoThis page is still under construction, but Membership is open!
Any questions so far can be asked here, or noted to the GHI:Furs
Also, I would love suggestions for places to start ghost hunting at.
I'm thinking that for the first few, we should limit ourselves to places that are open to the public
and don't require permission to go to.Current Members
