Posted 13 years agoYesterday was a very lackadaisical one; nothing going on and doing nothing but looking things up on the internet. I collapsed on my parents bed then went to sleep at about 9:00 PM, when my dad kicked me out of his room.
This is were it gets weird....
I had one of those dreams, you know the ones. The ones that are an amalgam of previous dreams and new ones.
It started out as a movie about lions and gorillas in a sewer system. After the movie, I was picked up by my brother and his friends in his flying car. We stopped at a bubblegum shop, but I forgot what I wanted to get, so we left and flew over a canyon where the dream switched over to a Let's Play by NintendoCapriSun (pimpage time! http://www.youtube.com/user/Nintend.....riSun/featured).
After all that, it switched back to the lions and gorilla movie outtakes, with a group of tribals playing with spears. And then...it turns to mind fuckery.
Me and my family traveled to a huge building complex, that had a roller coaster that uses cars from the parking lot. We were going to meet the head honcho, played by either John Waters or Steve Buscemi. After we left and came back, he turned into Leslie Nielsen and told us his life story, about how he replaced the city statue of a cartoon dolphin with a mounted gazelle, and how is wife (now a grotesquely proportioned blow-up doll) was killed by a small museum curator, played by Ben Kingsly.
When I woke up, I decided to stay home for today, just to make sure I would be okay.

Posted 13 years agoOne of our finches flew away. I highly doubt that we'll be able to find her again, seeing as there have been hawks circling around lately. I won't get my hopes up, but I hope that she might survive.

Posted 14 years agoThings that have happened between laptop death and now.
-We found a frog that has been living in our house secretly for the past three months and is now happily living in a terrarium.
-We have a new finch named Mendoza.
-The finches have laid four eggs. So far two are gone and one has hatched.
-I had a wonderful Christmas with my family.
-My new laptop is working great and I have almost all of my favorites back. Though I still need an editing program to upload the photos on my camera to FA.
I will post something when I get things squared away.

The Rendezvous
Posted 14 years agoI went there today. They hold it every fall down by the Mississippi River. I had a great time there, met up with some old friends, had some EXCELLENT sweets, got to fire some pistols, pet a chicken, and got tied to a tree.
I wish I took some more pictures, I'm just not that camera savvy, but I will post all the photo's that I took there.

Supriseing Frog
Posted 14 years agoThis morning while my mom was watering her terrarium she found a gray tree-frog in it.
In August she found a tree-frog in there, so we decided to keep it in there to keep the bugs down. We don't know if its the same frog, but if it is, HOLY CRAP!
I'll try and get a few pictures of it if we can find it again. They are so damn hard to see.
