Howdy ya'll! Sorry for so out of it lately. Seems I had some kinda bronchial infection past few weeks, NOT fun. Hackin, weezin and sneezin sucks! Comes and goes, but if this is the most I am sick for a long time, oh well!

BUT I will be attending the Elliot Event down in Orlando at the link above! May 29-31 will be the weekend for the fun. It's a pretty cheap gathering, rooms are like just $60 a night and all kinda DDR, water park and all that jazz included in registration! Other cool artists and furs wil be there makin fursuit head construction panels and all that.

It's pretty low key and a fun hangout con, if you can get there, it will be a chillin weekend. ^_^

New hotel is nice, I still think the con spaces were lil small, but hey, it was the first year there. I'd love to see an expanded Artist Alley to grow with the attendance. BUT the con itself was awesome. Met lotta old friends and made some new ones. Did lots of sketchbooks and $1 badges, had a great time with muh Fangirl posse in the alley and drawin in the den and hangin' in the lobby.

Howdy all. Well, I had a check up yesterday for Casey at the Animal Hospital.The Doc is VERY pleased with her progress. It is gonna be a slow road, but her overall attitude, weight and energy levels are much higher than last week. She has Hepatic Lipidosis which is Fatty Liver Disease. Sometimes when a cat gets sick they stop eating, then their livers start to go bad. Luckily we caught it before it got too bad and her "liver count" was at 12, it is now after a week of tube feeding amd meds, a 7. We want that to be a 1, and she is very positive we can do it!

So far bills are over $2,000 and rising with weekly checkups and meds, heh. Yah, animal hospitals are not much off of people ones. So, I will leave my paypal addy if anyone wants to donate anything to the fund, it will all be appreciated, and I have been so so thankful for anyone donating already...bless you all.

OK some other good news...I WILL BE AT FURFRIGHT!!! I cannot wait. Luckily, Casey loves my room mate and he is fully trained to give her the meds and feedings while I am at the con. I did a pic here in my gallery with info as well. My cat Casey is suffering a problem with her liver. She has lost weight and is not eating. I took her to the vet and then an emergency ultrasound. The bills, well, you can imagine are gonna be high, but they do think she has a decent recovery rate on this, but needs some solid tests to see and it can require lots of home treatment with tubes for me to help feed her.

Howdy ya'll! I'll be attending EUROFURENCE 14! It will be next Wed-Sun in Suhl, Germany. I am really looking forward to this trip. I will fly this Friday and return home Sept 24th. It is by far, the most fun con I have ever attended.

MFF is quickly becoming one of my all time fave cons! I am sooo sad they gotta move to another hotel, much as this one s small and cramped fer space, it just feel like home.

Met some awesome and crazy people at the con, hung out, did DS with muh boyz, you know who you are!!! Did the dollar badges and sketchbooks in the alley, hung out with friends new and old, hit some awesome places to eat and had a really great time!!

I dun have much time to post bout how awesome the con,, the camp, Feral and Camp staff, and the attendees were, but trust me, Feral to me was one of the best cons I been to. I will do a more detailed con report when I can. ^_^

OK, let's get this outta the way cuz it has to be said. The con hotel was not that great. Not the staff, but the hotel itself, lost A/C during the con, had a strange mould-like smell to the hallway near where I stayed, and well, sorry, one word...Newark, heheh ^_^ I was raised in NJ, so I can say that!

*EDIT* YES there is gonna be a new much cooler hotel next year ^_^ So yeah, cannot wait, and still was a great experience to just meet lotta cool furs and hang with friends, new and old. Just like a good con should be like!*

OK, NOW to all the coolness of the con!! Con staff..awesome! Friendly and helpful; for a first time con they did great. I arrived Saturday afternoon and took a spot in the dealer room near Blotch the GOH's. They seemed really cool and preofessional and awesome artists! I sold some CDs and did some sketchbooks, thanks to all that got one from me, I always love it!

The thing I enjoyed the most bout this con, since compared to other cons, was fairly small....though a great number for a first year con, lil over 300...the thing I enjoyed most was hanging out with friends. Since the hotel was not ginormous it was easier to find folks and just hang out. Though the lack of a general zoo area for large numbers of people to hang out in was a lil sad, though I am sure it is something that they will get in the new hotel next year. ^_^ I got to just hang out and enjoy room parties and time with friends more than I usually do at the larger cons. Meeting people and new artists was a blast.

So, if you missed it...HA! hehe nah, just go next year!! It was a great con!

OK, now that I have your attention, I need your help!

There is a very cool comic shop in Toronto called The Beguiling. They were at San Diego Comic Con and liked our "Best of Clubstripes" book. They purchased 5 copies to sell in their store. Now, if you like the work of myself, Miu, Daria, Midori and such artists as Max Black Rabbit, Gnaw, etc, PLEASE buy this book. It will show that, Hey, there is an audience for furry books and related material.

It is $24.95 US, but not sure how much they will sell it for. But I think if enough of you furs up there purchase or ask about this book it will definitely help other furry publications sell.

I know there are LOTS of furs in Toronto, heck I been there like 4 times now, and it be awesome to see you all support Clubstripes by pickin up this cool book!! ^_^
