Posted a year agoHey, everyone. Sorry I don't seem to be that much active and engaged here up to this point. But I wanted to make a message out, in regards to the recent news that Dragoneer has passed.
There's a lot I could say about it, and how the impact has felt on me. A lot of stuff and emotions that you may have already heard in many ways from others, today. Of how monumental this place has been for my upbringing and connections with the community, my friends, and my datemates. Of how Dragoneer's presence brought the community together and united, for better and for worse. Of how much of a frustrating tragedy the condition of our healthcare system is here in the US, with its cruel apathy for people in need. There's a lot that could be detailed.
For the moment though, I'd just like to linger simply on the fact that, well...
He was here. He was a part of the community. He meant something. And that's something that's never gonna go away. He left his mark here, from the start of FA to the end of his life, and it will last until the end of FA itself. Probably even beyond to the community itself. No matter what anyone could say or feel about the fella, there is no denying the spark that he developed, nurtured, and then passed on for others. And that's just...really important to acknowledge, I feel. To remember. To take unto heart, to press yourself ever forward.

Yo everyone! I've hit age 29 here, birthday times ahoy! Also taking this opportunity to give some updates on things.
Firstly, sorry there hasn't been many updates re: the Growth Drive and crafting art in general, I've sorta been taking an impromptu break this month since there's been several things that have been taking my attention this month, mostly regarding getting a lease renewal for my apartment unit, and also hopefully a unit transfer to someplace cheaper here. It's for that reason that I might be occupied through October as well, so art updates might be few for the time being. Still, that I was unable to keep a consistent pace going, I do intend to get back on it soon as I feel like I've got the mental space to do so!
Other than that, I've been taking things easy and relaxed, making sure things are all nice and well for my personal life. Had some fun family visits across the month, got myself set up with SNAP again, and I may or may not have been tending to some hyperfixations of a superheroic nature and a tabletopping nature.
As things start to get cool around here, I'll also be getting nice and chill with my vibes and my stuff, just felt like since it's my birthday, it'd be nice of me to give y'all a status update.
BTW, enjoy Skunktember, all the skunks in my roster certainly are!

So, fun fact, I've kinda got a lot of commissions of my critters and such over the years that I'd would like to post here! Thing is, I've kinda got a LOOOOOOT of them, and I don't wanna end up posting so much that it'd overtake my actual work. But I still wanna have them presented in manners folks are gonna see and enjoy n' such. So, I'm just wondering how I should go about about it. Lemme know what you think of that. - Post Commissions Exclusively in Scraps (Unsure about visibility, and how things might fare if I were to post alts for my work and such)
- Post Commissions in a Separate Account (Requires managing yet another account, but could function as a centralized spot for commissions I've attained, but management might vary)
- Post Comms as Normal, on Main Gallery, organized in Gallery Folders (Might risk taking up too much compared to my actual work, would require Gallery Folder management to make sure things are grouped proper, but most straightforward option)
Of course I'd end up posting these in bursts but yeah, just been something on my mind as of late. Would like to receive feedback if it's good!

Preparing for a Growth Drive [Poll Included]
Posted 2 years agoIt's been...ages, since I tried to do a Growth Drive, and I'm still kinda hesitant in being able to be consistent with one after last time, but I think with how often I've been in dire straits and constantly being broke and hungry without much to have against that, and still having to deal with a lot of expenses that even getting something for fun to ease my moods still results in being so exhausted...I think I'd rather try this again.
So, I'm gonna be setting up to do another growth drive to raise funds to keep me afloat for at least a good while, to at least get some breathing room that I've regularly been left exhausted of and has been a constant drain on me. Thing is, I don't quite know what I wanna do for the scenario. I got many ideas, but I can only choose one.

Status Update: Extreme Burn Out, Commissions, The Future
Posted 2 years agoGot an important update. There's...a lot to detail about it, coming up and over time, but to put things briefly:
- I'm extremely burned out, and as it turns out, have been burned out for a very, very long duration of time.
- My absolutely unstable living and financial circumstances has left me emotionally, mentally, and creatively exhausted. The pressure of them all has led me to vastly overestimate my abilities.
- The constant mental toll of the pressure and obligations of my commission backlog, in addition to my constantly unstable conditions, has left me unable to function in my artwork. I've overestimated what I could bear, and its left me creatively paralyzed and terrified to craft at all.
- I'm throwing in the towel, in regards to effectively all uncompleted commissions and owed work in my backlog. All but a very select few of them are going to be cancelled. There will likely be no more than 4 or 5 exceptions, at the most. I'll be contacting my clients for those select few shortly, and privately.
- I'm going to be trying to raise funds in order to offer refunds for all of my clients who commissioned me. If you wish to have a refund, please DM me with what you commissioned before, what tier/quality it was, when you commissioned me, and how much you paid. I'll add that to a tally of how much I owe back.
- My effective income is going to be coming exclusively from Patreon and Donations for the foreseeable future. For raising funds to give refunds to the people I owe, and for my own living circumstances. It might be a very long time before I consider trying to do commissions again, in any form, and even if I do, it'll likely be in a much more limited format than how it had been up to this point.
- I'm taking a long break, to mostly try to regain my passions and drive. It's gone to the point where I felt so terrified and overwhelmed with everything around me that I couldn't function. Being on the edge to the point of having panic attacks and dread over myself has been a regular occurrence. It's left me unable to advance or craft works that I could be happy and passionate about. Multiple projects and goals left unfinished and uncompleted. I need a refresh.
- I'm going to need help. More than ever. I'm not gonna try to hide that anymore. I'm, frankly, in very shitty and taxing situations on the regular. I'm exhausted, and I can't keep trying to handle everything by myself anymore.
- Lastly, I need to give a big apology to everyone. I'm sorry that things had to get to this point, I'm sorry that I couldn't uphold the promises, obligations, and responsibilities that I made, that I tried to provide a service that I could not provide. I never meant, in any form, for things to go this far south. Believe me when I say that at those times, I really, truly felt, that I was capable of this. I greatly apologize for my oversight. I should have done this a lot sooner, and I'm sorry it took me this long to realize that.
There's been a whole lot that I've had to deal with and bear, for a long period of time. I'm very sorry that it's led to things going this south. I've been living in absolute, constant stress having to manage a lot that it's led to me being absolutely drained. I thought that I could power on through but it never worked out that way, and eventually by the time I started feeling terror about trying to do anything creative, it set in just how screwed I was.
I'm sorry, I'm very sorry. I'm especially sorry to everyone who's been waiting on stuff from me, stuff that I owed them, for a long, long period of time. I'm sorry I couldn't muster up the energy to make it work out. I never meant for it to go this bad, and I'm so, so sorry.

[Extra Note: Read the update, and, while I do appreciate them at least being a little more upfront and acknowledging how badly they presented themselves with this, even apologizing for it...I still do not high hopes or trust with this policy tweak, only now it's rooted in their actual implementation of it, rather than the vagueness of how they're doing so. So, this policy tweak still blows, just now more conclusively out of them trying to make objective that which is subjective in nature. My overall response and take on it still stands.]
Consider this as a reminder that I'm also present and active in other places than here. And probably also something to note for those who've watched my page here as of late. (BTW thanks for y'all who come by and appreciate my work)
- I have a Community Server on Discord, in depth details located here, but to give basic details, it's a Discord server that has served to be the most direct way to get a feed for my artwork, lore, and otherwise content from me, as well as interact and reach me more directly. It is an 18+ exclusive Discord, and though I'm a solo admin/mod there, we vet people for primarily age verifications and community fit before having access.
Again, this is the most active and direct way to reach me and my work as it stands right now.
- I also still have an active Patreon if you want an alternative art feed, albeit one that updates monthly. It's located right here. I post all artwork I've done across the month near the end of the month, provided circumstances don't cause delays. What I post there are all Full Resolution pieces. This also has, albeit non-directly, a connection to my aforementioned Discord, where active subscription to my Patreon makes you eligible for an exclusive role on my Discord that gives you access to exclusive rooms where I'll also post my high resolution works there.
Thus, effectively, subscribing to my Patreon is the exclusive way to get my works in their highest resolutions.
- For what it's worth, I still have a Twitter, though mostly to post finished works to get words out there, lurking about otherwise. I'm starting to limit my time there significantly, however, so it may not be the most ideal place, and that's aside from, well, Twitter being Twitter. You can follow it here.
- I'm signed up on Cohost as well, and though I've been idle there for the most part, I'm working on making an effort to be there more often than not, at least certainly more than Twitter. It'll also be a space where I post my artwork, ideally as I post things normally. You can check it out here!
- I would probably consider making a Telegram Art Channel as well, but I'm not sure I wanna add yet one more service for my mind to manage. It's something that's under personal consideration however, given how often I see such be offered.
TL;DR: FA's new policy update kinda blows actually and I ain't gonna sugarcoat it, it blows hard. Good and reasonable intentions, yes, but very poor execution, and I feel they need to pump the brakes. No I am not leaving FA but I ain't gonna be assed to try to look over my own stuff, in bad and critical faith, to see if any of them may be "suspect" on observation (though I'm likely just fine). Screw that noise. If you wanna make sure contact with me is kept up if the worst occurs, you got what I posted above as spots. Peace.
If you want my take regarding FA's new Policy Tweak, I'll keep things brief. I think that while I can understand and get where they're going and what they're trying to do to an extent, their execution...sucks. Not even leaving a lot to be desired, it just sucks ass in practice. From its haphazard implementations and clarifications and responses that end up contradicting itself or leave more questions than answers, to its judgements placing the onus on the artist themselves to either judge their own works or leave themselves vulnerable to individualistic determinations of their stuff, to its nature of it likely relying on individual, outside interpretations rather than taking artist intent, purpose, and context, and being uncompromising on such (note that they opened up with, essentially, "if you /feel/ your gallery account is at risk, /remove/ anything that /might/ violate this policy by the 1st, or you will face a /ban./" and left seeking responses or consultations to sending a Trouble Ticket to them which is...a decision to make, for certain.) just does not inspire confidence or trust in this being handled well in practice.
If you ask me, FA should just shelve this one. I get what they wanna do but this isn't the approach to take with it. It is doing more harm than good here, and FA has its own problems to handle with itself. Optimizations and updates announced to be oncoming still pending with nothing to show for them for ages, as one thing. I do not have trust or faith in how this policy is going to be implemented considering the nature of what it is it's working with. You can't make judgements that are based on one's art style or trying to place realistic proportions and anatomy to that which does not follow realism by nature. It's lacking and inconsistent at best, and harmful at worst.
That said, do not take this as me deciding to take my leave here. But that also said, I ain't gonna bother with trying to take out any of my stuff here, either, not that I really have anything nor do anything harmful in the first place anyway. I can't be bothered to care about what or how this affects me. Because this ain't about me, it's about the folks and artists that I know who might be at risk here.
If I end up smacked because of bullshit interpretations of my shit, finding harmful intent where there isn't, nor has there ever been, then so be it. I ain't committing to that which I have no trust or confidence in, or feel is being made in good faith. If that happens, well, what you see above is where you can locate me. Otherwise, I'm keeping on my course.
If someone is feeling threatened by this policy and its vague presentations and clarifications, and desires to exit but still wishes to know where they can follow me so they don't lose out as much, what you see above is also where you can reach me.
I ain't gonna pretend that all this ain't a shame, or that it doesn't bring about doubt, confusion, foreboding worry, and frustration. I ain't gonna act like peoples' valid concerns ain't worth having, or discounting such concerns. I'm also not going to lie that this is just another bit of FA screwiness to add to its long, long, long list of screwiness. I ain't posting this to try to do anything about all of that.

Optimizations and updates announced to be oncoming still pending with nothing to show for them for ages, as one thing. I do not have trust or faith in how this policy is going to be implemented considering the nature of what it is it's working with. You can't make judgements that are based on one's art style or trying to place realistic proportions and anatomy to that which does not follow realism by nature. It's lacking and inconsistent at best, and harmful at worst.
That said, do not take this as me deciding to take my leave here. But that also said, I ain't gonna bother with trying to take out any of my stuff here, either, not that I really have anything nor do anything harmful in the first place anyway. I can't be bothered to care about what or how this affects me. Because this ain't about me, it's about the folks and artists that I know who might be at risk here.
If I end up smacked because of bullshit interpretations of my shit, finding harmful intent where there isn't, nor has there ever been, then so be it. I ain't committing to that which I have no trust or confidence in, or feel is being made in good faith. If that happens, well, what you see above is where you can locate me. Otherwise, I'm keeping on my course.
If someone is feeling threatened by this policy and its vague presentations and clarifications, and desires to exit but still wishes to know where they can follow me so they don't lose out as much, what you see above is also where you can reach me.
I ain't gonna pretend that all this ain't a shame, or that it doesn't bring about doubt, confusion, foreboding worry, and frustration. I ain't gonna act like peoples' valid concerns ain't worth having, or discounting such concerns. I'm also not going to lie that this is just another bit of FA screwiness to add to its long, long, long list of screwiness. I ain't posting this to try to do anything about all of that.
This is just me sending to let folks following me know that I'm always around, even if not through here, and I appreciate their presence, and it'd be sad if treasured connections would be left damaged and fractured from this.
[Flash Sale] Open for Rough Sketches & Icons
Posted 2 years agoYo everyone, firstly, sorry I haven't been that much active here and there, things have still been pretty wild, but I'm still working on crafting stuff up n' out! I've recently been getting a good momentum in my creative drive and itching to get some fresh work in while I'm still tackling my backlog!
All this to lead up to the fact that I'm currently open for doing rough sketches and icons!
I'm trying to get some practice in my sketching speed and also try out drawing different angles, particularly rear angles! So if ya want me to sketch your butt for cheap, it'll be $15 each at base! You can even add in an extra prop or aspect alongside that as well (i.e. hoses, handles, etc.) for free, but anything after the 2nd one will be an extra $5 each! And if you want me to draw any of my OCs, you'll get $5 off the price too!
As for icons, they'll be offered for $40 each, but I also have a special sale going on for them: if I'm drawing a pooltoy or otherwise puffy and squeaky OC or variant of your OC, it'll be $30! The same goes for if you wanted to get a Sequence of 3 or 4 different icon frames featuring your character expanding, whether through fat, inflation, slime, etc.!
I'm currently really itching to get into it already and I could really use the work too, so I'm definitely open to contact here, in Notes, or in DMs wherever else you follow me at, if you're ever interested! Also, though I'm not intending this to be something to be rushed into, I would ideally like to get at least a couple clients by tomorrow, 3/15, if it can be helped!

Status Update: Icon Openings, Patreon, Stream Schedules
Posted 3 years agoFinally more or less caught up with the stuff I had piled up here that I hadn't posted. Many apologies if it seemed like I was not too active in posting my art here, I'm still trying to get the hang of supporting multiple spaces at once, haha.
BTW if you enjoyed the icons I've been posting here from time to time, it might interest you to know I'm available for a couple more icon slots, $35 each! I'm still working diligently on my backlog so I need to keep things easy for me. I'm also greatly appreciative if anyone would rather just donate to me directly! (Check my Footers for details on spots! I also accept Shinies) It would be a good help too, since well, I wanna be able to order pizza and meals and groceries to make meals when I can. ^^;
Additionally, this month, two art tiers that give bonus artwork commissions as rewards are up for grabs in my Patreon if you've been looking for that kind of benefit! X3 But yeah, I crafted up a new Discord for anyone who's interested in checking out a more centralized space for all of my writing and artwork as well as having a nice, relaxed, and kink-friendly space to casually chat and chill in as well!
It's going to become the primary space where I post all my finished artwork in first before anywhere else due to the ease of posting stuff on Discord! As well as a spot to keep track on progress regarding any commissions you're waiting on from me, as I have a trello up on there that...hopefully works, apparently Trello changes things up since the last time I used it and sharing it around works weirdly. But it's certainly there~!

Actually that said I oughta detail that I'm pretty much...effectively *always* open to do Icon commissions, I've been sorta rolling with a rotating/refreshing queue that has slots open up as I finish them. So it's very rare that I'll deny or decline an offer to do one especially as I just finish one.
So yeah feel free to approach me whenever you want me to make ya a cute and/or cool icon. They're $35 each and they tend to have a very quick turnout rate! You can take a look at my gallery to see the quality to expect. uwu

My day's been hectic and I haven't yet gotten my posting ethic hyped up enough to show stuff off but when I do, hoo boy there's a nice variety! New characters, some new art, and some fun commissions I've had!
For now, though, I'm hoping to make it through this day well enough to really enjoy my birthday, y'know? :3
