Sorry for my recent disappearance.
The boyfriend and myself have been busy trying to secure a new apartment, that stress had me step back so we could focus there.
Then my job title at work changed from a Sales Consultant to Assistant Manager to Manager in the short span of a month and a half. I have been spending the past 3 weeks learning everything for my new role that I didn't get time to be trained on as the Assistant. This has lead me to have to shift my focus to the store over my art for a long while. After work I wouldn't feel up to even looking at my sketchbook.
I plan on coming back and since my new position gives me a little more freedom where I feel I can focus on what I wanted to for art.

This journal will update as I work on commissions. This will act as a current queue.

While I have single character commissions open I am going to be opening emergency commissions.
These will include $10-$15 dollar commission openings.
I am currently at work and plan on making posts about it tonight.

Without going into to much detail we currently went from 3 sources of income to 1.5 and as a result bills are backlogged. Sachelman and myself are working on getting caught up but it's taking some time.

I have been working on reopening commissions hopefully soon. Like before I plan on updating a journal as I get commissions, finish different phases of commissions etc.

I still need to get around to finishing a pricing list and a terms of service. Once I have those I’ll mark my commissions completely open.

Last year in the middle of working on YCHs and other art life got a tiny bit stressful.

First I went skating for the first time in years with some friends, slipped up and fell back on my right hand. Being right handed this put me out of commission for a bit. That was back in October and it wasn’t until January I found out I actually broke the radial cap in my elbow. Even though I wasn’t able to draw for a good couple months I still went to work. It was season time and while in pain it I just did what I always do, fight though it (having a really high pain tolerance helps). While I can bend my arm a lot more than before I do not have full motion in my elbow anymore. Just am glad the pain is pretty much gone, only when I hit my arm wrong does it flare back up.

Second thing that kept me from working on things was my full time job. I work retail in a liquor store as a consultant. While we are not the same kind of busy we were when I worked toys r us it get crazy busy. That plus being understaffed put me working 40-50 hours a couple week. It also didn’t help that half way through the busy time our manager was moved to another store and it took us a while to get use to the new manager. Things have calmed down now where the crew we have work so well together we can get everything we need done in a day.

Those two situations plus a couple personal things caused me to go mia for a bit. Things have calmed down drastically and I am even working with some friends on keeping up with my art more. I can’t promise being here everyday but I will try my best.

One thing I have learned reopening commissions. It takes me a lot longer to complete them that I originally pictured. I was basing my times off characters I already knew how to draw and sketched often.
That being said I am going to change up my pricing accordingly. I will also be adding headshot, waist up and some other options in with my new commission sheet.
Once that is done, and I finish one out of the two commissions I have left, I’ll be reopening commissions to help with bills and savings etc.

I got 3 more commissions to work on after finishing the first. I will open them back up after I finish them, the two trades with friends and two in person mascot painting commissions I got. So boy has his plat pretty full with a few tasks.

I’m sorry it’s taking me so long to work on commissions to the couple people who commissioned me. I had run out of my depression and anxiety meds so I was in a bad slump for a while. I got them back and am getting back into the swing of things.

Since I said I will do this again these are the times I have work and such on different days of the week. I will update this journal every week I get a new schedule. (Note my job has our schedules set up Friday-Thursday so Monday through Wednesday this first week will be empty till tomorrow). Also I live in Florida so times are EST.

Working retail my schedule could change in a days notice but I will try to keep this up to date.

After life and other factors keeping me away I'm finally am back.

I got ahold of a tablet so I can draw on the go instead of being tied down to the computer, which has helped my productivity. I plan on coming back in the next couple weeks (if not sooner) with a flat rate YCH and reopening comissions.
I will probably also start posting when I'll be at my job and when I'll be working on commissions and such. Just so it may be easier to know when I'm around to respond quicker.

Ok I am almost caught up on my life events. As I stated on tumblr not only did one store I work at get closed, the store I worked at for 6 years went out of business and the store I was at closed. It is all ok I had another job lined up so I am able to stay on my feet. Now though I do have move in 5 days. I am excited and ready. Once I move to the one bedroom I can get back on a schedule. For the first time in 2 years I will have time to get back to my art and possibly commissions (once I get caught up for two people).

Season for both retail jobs has been over for about a month now, but that didn't stop my life from getting any less hectic. If anyone on here has also taken a look at my tumblr recently you would have seen the store that I work full time at is closing. For the past month that has been a wild roller coaster of ups and downs after hearing that news. Luckily as of yesterday I have managed to find a new job full time starting at the same wage. That being said I will be working two full time jobs for the next two months so that shall be interesting.

That is one issue down, the second is moving out of my current apartment that I share with a roommate. All is fine but I am just looking for a place to live by myself with my two cats and two bearded dragons. I have a couple options so while it is a pain the only real issue is the moving part.

All of that being said I want to apologize for not being active. I keep meaning to but between work and personal stress in the current apartment I haven't been in the mood to really work on anything. With all that is happening Pikashoes and myself have been viewing this as a start of a new chapter for our lives and want to take this as motivation to try and push our selves to actually do something with our art. We have a few comic ideas that need to be worked out so we can start on them. Along with collaborations together to make enamel pins. But to do any of that we have to get through these next couple of months of working 70-80 hour weeks, some how without dying.

A big thank you to every one that has stuck through me being a butt and not staying focused on art and also a thank you to all the new people who showed up during my absences.

Between two jobs I have been working 40-50 hours a week, but recently one of my jobs gave me a promotion to full time. As a result I have been wanting to quit the second, would be nice to have some more free time to draw again. Maybe actually go back and finish up some of my comics and open commissions again. Still debating on it because I feel bad for leaving jobs even if I am only working said job 5-10 hours a week.

Finally after being away for so long (for the second time this year) I am taking a week vacation from my retail jobs. Much needed after doing nearly 50- 60 hours a week for a couple months. I plan on taking this time to catch up and things a little and try and get back into a routine.

So some how I survived working two retail jobs during season. That being said my hours at both have been cut almost in half and I now have a lot more time to work on things. I have been trying to clean up my apartment again and work on commissions. Once I catch back up I'm gonna look back into opening some PWYW commissions to help with bills and such. Other than that I may start on a little fan comic and try to actually finish it. I have the story planed for it along with the ending, all the is left is planing out the pages and actually completing them. All that being said I am still around still working on things as I can and I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday <3.

Been a couple of months since I was in the process of moving out of my old apt and was with out internet. Whelp I am in the new place, have been for about 2 months, and we finally got internet again. I am still in the process of unpacking, with two jobs working almost 40-60 hours a week, it has been a slow process. As soon as I get all my things up and running again I will be able to work on commissions again and try to get what I owe completed.

After about a month I am finally able to log into FA. The issue, I forgot what email I used when I signed up. So when they had the mass 'reset password' I was unable to do so for the longest time. I need to go into my settings and change my email to the one I use now *sigh*.
But might as well give an update. I did get the second job, so between two part time jobs I am working full time hours. I am still gonna try to finish up what I owe people but I just don't have as much time as I use to. Also, I am moving. My current roommates signed for a new apt about a month ago and I had to find a new place to live. Luckily got something lined up rather quickly and did land that job. So come Aug. 15th I will be officially moving into my new apt. I will also be gaining a new roommate, rainbowfrosting . All that being said this month is gonna be packing and preparing for the new apt. So I will not be able to work on to much, and on the 3rd internet is being shut off so we can all save money for the new places. I will still have my phone so I am going to try and respond to things there and if I go to a place that has free wifi I may be able to post traditional sketch dumps etc.

Apologies for being such a butt with things *facedesk* I have been lucky enough to not be dealing with my depression that much after talking to my doctor a while ago soo that is a plus :DI have just been busy with trying to figure out what is going on with my living situation in a couple of months. But that plus I have been working longer at my job. Those two reasons I have been falling behind on images, that and I have been a butt and not updated my weekly schedule ;u;

Little poll time. Once I finish two more in my queue I was going to open the PWYW slots again, but I was also wanted to do a few more YCH and Adopts. Some even as collabs with pikashoes . That being said what would you guys like to see more of in Adopts and YCHs?

Got out from my interview a few minutes ago. The guy who interviewed me said he would definitely be calling me for background checks on Friday. But things are not set in stone yet * crosses fingers* so heres hoping!

That being said I as of now don't have a lot of time I am able to dedicate to drawing, working a second job will limit it more as well. But I don't plan on stopping. I have wanted to make a go of art since I was a child and I don't ever want to give that up. I would just take less commission or do more YCH and adopts. Been having a lot of fun with those.

Things have been going up and down for a little while. Then went out of town for a few days, ended up not being able to do much and staying longer than I had planed. But I am back at my computers and ready to get started working again :3

I have today off, had a good day at work yesterday, all in all a good day.
That being said I am gonna be working on my todo list for the majority of the day. A couple of times I will be heading out of the apartment with pikashoes (as long as the ick hasn't over taken them D: ).
I hope to get 3-4 done today but I may only be able to get to finish 2, we shall see how it goes :3


Also what would you guys want to see more of? Would you be interested in more journals maybe a little get to know the artist thing or the 100 questions kinda things? Maybe a monthly raffle, for art or pokemon cards?

Little bit of an update since my last one was almost 2 weeks ago D:
I have been working on commissions, just not as much as I had hoped. Thanks to hormones and other things I have been going in and out of depression.
I can't stand doing nothing so I did sketch in my little sketch book to try and get that part of my list done. And since I have been feeling better this week I am trying to get ever thing finished. Hardest part is down at least and I don't have to plan images :D

Side note the Weekly Schedule journal is gonna be my featured Journal so it will always be on the main page. I will be editing it ever Saturday night/Sunday evening. Though I messed up this weeks schedule D: I work Friday when I thought I had off so I will have to make a slight change there.

Just wanted to give a small update. May make some more 'get to know' journals later but we shall see.

Meant to spend more time working on my list of commissions today, but finding motivation was a little difficult.
I have tomorrow off from my part time job still so I plan on making that a working day as well to try and catch up on lost time D:
