ALRIGHT.

The total cost of my college was quite a bit, and after a bunch of loans and grants and scholarships and such, I've lowered it to just $355 a month. My grandparents will help with some of this, and so will my job, but I'm not counting 100% on either(not expecting to have a job much longer/grandparents are in Utah).

Cause of this, I'm going to ask all of you guys for help! Please spread this journal around if you can, cause I'm going to start making chain maille like there's no tomorrow.

Every single thing that I make is going to be sold for no more than $20(dragons excluded, they will be $40 which is reduced as well). Bracelets will be no more than 15, and pendants will be about 5.

So, while I AM actually doing things now(SURPRISE), I'm doing several different things all at once. This has become a bad habit of mine, and I don't think it'll go away for a while, especially seeing that it's gotten to me at work too. Drives my co-worker nuts. :D

As such(lol so fancy), I will be completing things pretty much all at the same time. Which is probably what my brain is going for.

I WILL get it all done before college starts, which is literally next week. Orientation tomorrow(super excited for that ^.^).

My current list of schtuff that I remember needing to do(if you wanted something and I forgot, blame my chipmunk memory and send me a note)

For  undyingkitsune, a persian dragonscale collar with purple, gray, light green, and black. (Trade)

For mah nuts driven co-worker(unintentionally implying that he's gay as a mofo) - Garter belt necklace & dragonscale bracelet (Not yet paid)

For my grandmamama - Two bracelets (will have to get details from her again. Hers will be paid for after I get them to her)

Misc. Stuff that's cool and I want to have cause I can but will unfortunately have to be done after everything else - Euro 10-1 Stainless Steel belt(yarly), Euro 4-1 Chain maille shirt(yarly), Garter Belt rainbow bracelet(cause I miss that thing T_T)



All of the stuff stated above is currently in progress unless I was physically unable to(lack of rings), or mentally(don't even remember what was wanted). I have work today from 1:30 to 9:30 as usual, then I'm off for the rest of the week. Time to do some serious chain maille.

Would anyone be interested in watching me play Castle Crashers? I just recently got Steam and that was my first game purchase, so I'm thinking about doing a livestream.

I hate going to the doctor(I mentioned that a few times, didn't I?), but in this case the guy was awesome. I asked him what exactly was going to happen, and he let me know with pretty good detail.

Here's how the whole thing went down: I had never been to this place before, so I had to get an x-ray done(probably would have had to do that anyway), and paperwork had to be done and such. After all that, we were brought into an exam room where we reviewed the x-rays, and found out that I had four teeth to be removed. The top two were perfectly fine, growing in nicely and were ready to go. The bottom two were unfortunately growing in sideways, but luck was on my side and they hadn't developed far enough to reach the nerve in my lower jaw. Once we were done with the review, the doctor took a peek inside my mouth to see what he would have to deal with.

Finally, I was taken to the actual surgery room(mom had to wait outside). There the assistants put some heart monitor pad things on my chest and a oxygen measuring device on my finger. One of the assistants radio'd in some help, and that help brought in an IV. That was no big deal at all, cause I'd had my share of allergy shots in the past. I even said to all the doctors, "If a needle is going to be the worst part of this, then I'll be fine".

Barely a minute after the needle was in, I was out. I don't even think I saw the actual doctor come in. An instant later(so it seemed to me, apparently it went on for about an hour), I was awake and had gauze in my mouth. Everyone kept telling me "You're done!" but my brain wouldn't comprehend it for some reason.

I wonder why.(sarcasm)

The only thing I remember anyone telling me after the surgery was this. "Can you walk to the car, or would you like a wheelchair?"

I think it was one of the assistants, but I'm not sure. I recall saying "A wheelchair would be cool". And it was. Until I had to get out, of course. And into the car. With SO many things to hit your head on. The ride home was nothing spectacular, except I kept trying to text my friends and failing real bad. I could think straight by this time, but my hands wouldn't move like I wanted them to.

I got home, had to keep the gauze pad things in for an hour, and then proceeded to eat because I was starving. I wasn't allowed to eat or drink 6 hours prior to the surgery.

And finally, here I am. All things considered, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. My whole bottom jaw is still numb(along with my tongue >.<), and I've had four bowls of chicken noodle soup. I was really hungry XD I can't taste or feel ice cold water on my tongue, which is pretty freakin' weird.

I'm sure that tomorrow and the next few days will seriously suck, but ah well. We'll jump that hurdle when we get there.

Anyway, that's what happened. Wisdom teeth are out, and I'll never have to worry about THAT again.

So yay~

It's been a good long while since I've written one of these, so I figured I'd try to re-figure out what all I'm doing.

I'll start with my edumacation status(had to go back to my previous journals and figure out where I left off XD). I submitted the essay, and am pretty much accepted into college! Only real thing I have to do is keep my grades up for this last semester. I need to end up with at least a 2.5 unweighted GPA, and I'm currently at a 2.54. Not much leeway there. Gotta go for that B/C average :D

Something a little(TON) more serious, I found out that my wisdom teeth are coming in. Gonna go for the surgery to remove them this coming Tuesday, and that's gonna suck. I'm not gonna lie, I absolutely HATE going to the doctor. For any reason. At all. Ever.

Fuck.

Especially dentists. Cause they suck.

Just thinking about the whole thing has made me a bit queasy, so I'm just going to quit while I'm ahead with this. I will be out of commission come Tuesday afternoonish, and I'm gonna guess all the way through Thursday as well. Not sure about it, since I haven't exactly had wisdom teeth removed before >.> I'm hoping they knock me out, cause I REALLY don't want to be awake for the procedure...

But enough on that.

Nearly got run over by an old lady while crossing the street on my way home from school today. She was in this boxy, yellow, ancient car, and she had on these sunglasses that reminded me of the ones they wore in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in the TV room(the newer version of the movie, not the older one).

Aaaaaaaaand.....Yeah. That pretty much sums up the important things(the old lady was incredibly important). Other than that, I can't believe I've been working for over 5 months already...Time really flies when you have no idea what's going on. Spacing a lot also helps. (spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace)

I've written a lot compared to my usual standards, and I can't really think of anything to add to this, so I'll end it here. Leave random comments if you want, or not. I'm pretty much just here to rant on about my life XD Probably wont post again until after the surgery(ugh), but if we're all lucky and I'm completely out of it and have access to a computer afterwards, I'll make the most random journal ever, completely under the influence of mind numbing everything. My backspace button will not exist. Whatever I think of will be written.

Haven't posted in a while(a week and a halfish?), cause nothing's really happened. I found ANOTHER music making program online that's free and will actually make music that I can post online for the public to see. So hopefully we will be able to expect some awesome music from this wolf ^.^

And that's honestly it. Other than extrEMELY minor details like that fact that I got a bit sick(and still am, should be over it by tomorrow). Skipped work cause of it, and I get the feeling that Mr. Employer is starting to not like me cause I've been really unreliable. Not my fault that I don't want to work Saturday mornings right after working Friday nights >.>

But yeah. =P I'll get better soon enough and then stuff. Music stuff.

So I went and applied to a college today. Working on the entrance essay now, only 150 words required. But this is weird...It's difficult to find the right words to use. I don't know if I've said this ever, but I want to go into Audio Production. Kind of just a thing that jumped out at me, and I seized the opportunity. Now I want to go in further(totally what she said). I never was much of a writer, but I can think of a bazillion things I want to put in the essay, yet none of them seem right. I think I figure by randomly ranting about it here, I can think of something good to use =P

Also, something else, I found a music creation program called eJay. It's friggin awesome, but I can't access any of the music I make. I have no idea why, and I've even saved it in several different file types. .mix, .mp3, .mp4(which I know is video, but hey, worth a shot). Anyway.

Back to the essay.

As many of you must not know, my fursona is a plain, white/silver wolf with a black streak down his back.

Now, I'm debating two things: Whether or not to make him part fox as well, and whether to add blue in there at all.

I'm almost certain about making him a fox/wolf hybrid(folf?), but uncertain as to where the blue would go if I added it in. I'd draw it all out and see how it looks(I get good reception and sometimes HD in my brain, but it's better for me if I see it visually) but I'm nothing near an artist. Note me if you're willing to take the challenge of helping me out with that one =P

*Random life update follows below*

So I've gotten my permit. Within three times of getting in the car and driving somewhere, I'd nearly crashed twice. Great start, huh? After that third time, my wonderful mom decided it was time to get me on the freeway. All concerns as to who I'd inherited my special brand of thinking came from, vanished on the spot. Driving onto the freeway, almost crashed cause I hadn't gotten up to speed quickly enough. Other than that, the rest of the ride went smooth. On my way home from work that night(I drove to work), I drove on the freeway. Let me emphasize again that it was at NIGHT(Guess who made that particular executive decision). Surprisingly enough, though, I did quite well and no one was in any danger. This was a few weeks ago, and I'm just fine as a driver now. Small side note, my mom isn't as bad as I make her out to be. She's pretty awesome. Just doesn't make the best decisions all the time.

And now I get to go christmas shopping at the mall tomorrow. Or Saturday. Then I get to go see Trans-Siberian Orchestra live(Squee!) on Sunday.

Things happen. And god I wrote a long journal...Lol, I should do this more often.

A few more payments and it'll be completely mine. But right now I'm typing on it, so it's partially mine. I think.

I guess the more proper phrase would be "I'm buying myself a laptop".

But yeah. Lol, so hopefully my whole system that I have will run a bit more smoothly now. Get stuff done faster. That sort of thing.

So. Job's all good, can't argue too much with 900 a month, considering my position.

Only real issue is, it takes up more time than I was hoping for =P Nothing too big, but on the days I have work, I can't do a thing with orders.

I don't have a *set* work schedule, but at the end of each week, I can figure out all the days I work the next week. So I can't guarantee that I'll work next Wednesday, but I know for sure I'm working Saturday morning. As an example :D

This is namely the reason why I haven't submitted anything recently, but to everyone who I'm making things for, rest assured that they are in progress.

Other than that, everything's pretty good ^.^

Now that everything's settled and my 'lazy' streak is hopefully over, I'm ready to open up commissions again ^.^

So, if you find yourself wanting a nice piece of chain maille(or wanting to get one for a friend/loved one), stop on by!

To all you weavers out there - Most of us have tried at least Half Persian 3-1, if not 4-1 also. But I got curious, I have not once seen a 5-1, nor heard of anyone making one.

Has anyone tried it? I'm seriously tempted to, especially since the only difference in starting a 3-1 and a 4-1 HP chain is a single ring. If all it takes is a second ring added...

Here's my thought - For those who have tried HP 4-1, you know that each added ring goes through one eye of two rings, and through one other ring. What if you made it so each ring went through one eye of two rings, then a second eye of another two rings? (I wonder if that made sense.)

To anyone who's brave/curious enough to try, let me know the result! I'm going to try it myself eventually, but I want other weavers' input on this.

SO, I was all geared up and ready to open up commisshesh again, when all of a sudden I get an e-mail from my grandma, asking for several bracelets and such for a friend of hers.

And I thought, 'What the heck?' and am now making a few for her.

What I DIDN'T know, was how many she wanted. There's quite a few, and it looks like I'll be busy with that for the next little while.
