Updates.
Posted 8 years agoJust wanted to let everyone know I am doing well. For those who don't know I am based in Houston, and for those wondering I was completely unaffected from hurricane/tropical storm Harvey, which is very good news. I was at Mephit Furmeet couple weeks back literally just a couple days after the hurricane, which I have to say was a much needed vacation from the storm itself and work. I wasn't expecting at all to go to MFM let alone if I could make it out of the flood waters alive, which thankfully is why Google Maps exists, lol. I would like to give special thanks to 
wielder13 for not only persuading me to go, but also for helping him with a few promo videos for the con, which you can view here:

As for the future... I will be taking a break. Not from the fandom itself, but I will be going to fewer cons in the coming year. For sure I will be at TFF and maybe Wild Nights depending on how things go next year. I will have no plans for MFF this year for those wondering, pretty much no major con in the next year. You can still spot me at a few local events around the Houston area, for instance the Texas Renfair coming up in October. I will still be active in the local scene, but I am just simply burnt out...

RIP PawPaw Baer (my Grandfather)
Posted 9 years agoJanuary 11th 1929 - September 11th 2016. He was a heavy influence on everyone around him, to not only to us family members, but also to the local community. He served in the US Navy during WWII, got married and had children, including my mother. Interesting to learn that he was a freemason, all these years none of us never knew. Lots of memories with him over the years. He will never be forgotten.
