I can't even walk barefooted in the grass because I'm so terrified I'll step on one or even go near one ;-;

Very long overdue journal here... Weeelll, long story short, for the past month my tablet has been shorting out a lot, making it really difficult to use. And about a week ago, it finally gave in and completely died ;o;
I hoped I wouldn't have to write this journal because I was planning on replacing it ASAP. Weeeell, I just got back from the store to find out the model I was using has been DISCONTINUED >:C Dun dun duuuuhhh... Hey guys! Sorry about not uploading... almost any art lately o.o This summer has been a handful and a half, and when I've found time or motivation to do any drawing, I've used it to draw personal art that I'm not gonna post.

But now that summer's over, I'm not sure what to expect or tell you! Part of me thinks I'll be drawing more, but then I remember the amount of homework I get on a normal day... So who knows :P

Upside is, I feel like I've improved a tiny bit along the lines of shading and stuff by doing the occasional personal drawings, so I'm gonna make a few more comics to make up for the lack of anything recently! ^^ (Thank Stripes for the ideas xD)

Opal: Furry, and she's an Arctic Wolf/Sea Serpent

Once again, thank you all for being so interested in my Freebie Chibis!
It was sooo much fun for me to see all the different characters and then put a little twist of my own on them! ^^ I thought I would get really sick of drawing them half way through, BUT IT WAS SO MUCH FUN <33 I could probably take another batch right now if I wasn't so dang tired xD
I'm most likely going to be busy for a lot of this summer due to traveling, but I may take 3 slots every now and then. So keep your eyes peeled for more chances!

I firmly believe that the quality of a drawing, or photo, or painting, or any other form of art does not depend on the "talent" of the artist. Every artist is talented! Having the most watchers or favourites or comments doesn't matter as long as the artist enjoys their work and really put emotion into it! I'm not saying that a quick 5 second sketch is more beautiful than a vibrant painting that took hours upon hours to do, but if the artist enjoyed making it, it's art! And who knows, in a couple years the person drawing scribbles on the sides of their school notes could be big and famous! That's why I think that fame isn't important, as long as you're doing something you enjoy! :) So when you're looking at that drawing by your favourite artist and say "Wow! I wish I was that good!" remember that with time and practice you could be!
