This FC wasn't what I expected, but not particularly in a bad way. When I wasn't sticking dildos on the mirror to scare Casey with, I was getting plastered. AND I LIKE THAT.

Met some very cool people at the couches and a super cute couple. Got to talking with one of them, and she was talking about the webcomic panel.

Me: Yeah, I heard the creator of this comic I used to read a lot and like was there. Ozy And Millie, you know?
Her: Yeah, I heard she's kind of a bitch!
Me: Really?
Her: Nah, that's me.

Enter a lot of excited chatter from me about the comic which I kinda stopped reading before it ended but hope to revisit. She drew me a little doodle of Millie (who's my favorite character) on a scrap of paper and it was SUPER CUTE.

Bumped around the ADORABLE badge that Kelsey made me.

Met a really cool photographer named Julia who had a lens to die for, but she had to jet pretty early for dinner with a friend.

Ate a MASSIVE FUCKTON OF PHILLIE CHEESE STEAKS. I regret nothing.

There were a handful of stupid little complications that happened, but I didn't let that ruin the best vacation of the year for me.

Had partners gracious enough to visit me (Sylvia and Kate) even if they had to wade through a nest of greasy furries :3

Bought a new tail made of corduroy (which is infinitely more awesome than the one I had before, which is a teensy bit fucked up now), pawsocks (I talked down the price the person was selling them for, was worth it), and some really awesome smelling soap (I have a thing for fabric softener smells).

I felt bad because I left in a rush with Kate because of some problems with getting back that Casey had. Didn't get to say goodbye to any of you fine folks and it made me kind of sad.

I've been seriously considering buying a Bunnywarez bat hoodie because they're fucking cute, but I want to try one on before I do that. I need some kind of fleece top that I can get away with the frumpiness of. I think I'll wait a bit before I do that because of textbook costs, christ.


In other news, my trigonometry class had a teacher switch up. I went there expecting a really good teacher and actually got swapped out with the NOTORIOUSLY WORST MATH TEACHER AT SKYLINE. I'm pissed times infinity and worried I won't pass the class. Probably going to harass Sylvia and Casey for math help, the fine people that they are. New teacher has an impossibly thick Russian accent and pauses to remember words in English. She's also a hardass who can't fucking teach and refuses to explain things because OH WAH it'll take longer to explain. That's your fucking job, jesus christ.

Got the orange-wearing newspaper kid Marc to sit next to in US History, which is taught by Rosemary Bell. She's an old but very perky and friendly lesbian who owns a border collie (owners reminding you of their dogs much?). I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy that class.

My English class is taught by a woman named Mahler who seems very laid back and reasonable. She put emphasis on us taking time when we needed it to make sure our essays turn out well. Not sure I'm big on what we'll be reading, but she wants us to visit a local play while we're in class and I'm thinking about handing out flyers and announcing the next theater club thing when they do it. No idea if there will be a spring production, but we'll see.

Syl leant me this book called Cunt and I've been reading it, along with The Ethical Slut. Muscio uses very powerful language and it sounds good, but I'm not sure how comfy I feel with jamming a sea sponge into my VAGINAL CANAL, yo. Now TES I can really get behind. I think it's given me the courage to commit to a poly lifestyle because I doubt I'd ever be happy pulling this serial monogamy shit everyone else uncomfortably adheres to because they don't know alternatives.

I recently found out that my phone has water damage, so I'm sorry if I double-text anyone. There's no real reason why it should have water damage unless rain suddenly got a bit friendly with my phone. I'm looking to switch to Sprint and maybe get the Evo2.

It was really super hot there, I am not gonna lie. Mallory was feeling dizzy at one point so we mulled around Wicked Grounds and I met the creator of ButchBoi's friend. Which would be cooler if ButchBoi were even usable. Emily had been volunteering at Wicked Grounds previously that day.

So I'm doing this whole Facebook sabbatical thing and just failing miserably.

Potentially failing math, enrolled in a summer class just in case. Shit is difficult.

Got a B on a test in PC Repair, which is the highest I've gotten on a test so far. Things are looking up.

Theater Club is having an END OF THE YEAR EXTRAVAGANZA! after stupid-ass finals. We're gonna screen a few movies on the giant theater projector and do a potluck kind of thing.

The production in fall is going to be either And Then There Were None or 6 Characters In Search Of An Author. I'm equally delighted with either of these. There was talk about doing Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, but the royalties would probably be too expensive and we'd need a lot of people who can sing. I still feel like it could have potential in the future if we get enough people backing it.

No matter what happens, I'm behind them all the way. I'm so happy I found this club...

I think it should be legal, no doubts. Horrible things happen when women cannot be in control of their own bodies- resorting to botched coathanger methods that end up killing them, black market doctors who care more about making money than a safe operation. This will happen if abortions are not available to women- they find another way. We're heading into overpopulation as it is. We need to be responsible about our bodies, and this would be a step in the right direction.
