Happy Wednesday + design inquiry!
Posted 7 years agoHappy middle-o-the-week! Hope everybody has had a good week so far, have you been up to anything interesting? I'm personally enjoying my day off for the week with the windows open, and will probably go check my garden out later to see if anything needs work u v u (and then do the indoor work I've been slacking on SOBS)
As for design work, I'm wondering if anybody following me specializes or particularly enjoys designing outfits for characters?
I'm the literal worst with outfits, and I would really like to build some classic outfits for a couple of my characters for art - I wouldn't need anything super involved, a couple of chibi renditions would be A-OK and I'm willing to pop a character base together if you need something to design on.
If that's your jam, please hit me up with some examples and quotes! I'd be happy to pay cash or work out a trade with you if there's any of my species you've been eyeballing.
In particular I'm looking for outfits along these themes:
-Cozy Casual & Tassel'd Show Wear (Paidika)
-Matching boy-ish outfits with a loosely victorian/colonial feel (Santal/Copal - Absolutes)
-fancy princely wear (Inti - Absolute)
-draped robes + bangles with a middle eastern/egyptian influence
You don't need to be capable of all of them obviously! If you specialize in one style or another, that would be fine c: I'd love to eventually have 2-3 of each.

THE ONLY PERSON ALLOWED TO CREATE/SELL LONGTHINGS IS BOO.
If someone is selling a design on this base: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21094477/
and it is not verifiable through Boo's gallery or her word, it is not a legitimate design. There is a person tracing the base and trying to sell.
The only person with the file is Boo, because I made that base for her use.
I have also heard there was a trace for an old base model - pretty much all old base designs can be confirmed through my old acct gallery.
If buying a Noodle second hand, be sure to check their legitimacy if possible.

Posted 8 years agoall I want for christmas is you not to bring my floor any patients that need bowel resections today/tomorrow.
I am really tired of scrubbing bowel resections on holidays. I don't know why but it seems like every holiday I work, somebody shows up with half of their pooptubes dead and rotting and I'M OVER IT.
I will accept any and all traumatic amputations though, as long as they are with the orthopedic team and not the vascular team.
pls i just want to spend the next two days not doing cases and instead hulahooping in the hallway

noodlevember base transfers quick fyi
Posted 9 years agoJust a heads up that I'm postponing the noodle base transfer slots to sometime this month!
Ive been pretty busy irl the last week+, so I'm a little behind compared to where I prefer on my working schedule - so I'm just nudging the transfer slots to December so I don't get swamped up between finishing customs and some stuff I want to do.

NOODLEVEMBER HEADS UP

Week 1's Longthing batch will be going up at 6PM EST, give or take the few minutes it takes for me to load up the submission etc. (so about 1.5 hours from now)
Upload file will be submitted into my scraps so as to keep the batch limited to followers.
You may only claim one noodle (there are 5 premades and 1 CYOP slot).

MYO Event ~ The World Enders
Posted 9 years agoThe MYO for the World Enders is live! Now you can have a wee apocalyptic dootdooter of your very own design. Please be sure to read all of the information below, as I've tried to make things comprehensive and clear. My Guardian MYO went really nicely, so I'm hoping we can make this another smooth event ♥
The MYO slots will close on OCTOBER 22nd midnight EST! Until then, you are free to submit a form by comment. Payment will be collected upfront, and then I will note you the MYO base file. You will have until NOVEMBER 26th midnight EST to submit your design for approval - I will send out reminders to anyone that hasn't sent a design in a few days prior to close date. Entrant information will be kept in a spreadsheet for easy tabs. Once your design is approved, you are welcome to post it to your FA/DA account as well as your Toyhouse (I will approve it as creator credit).
THE RULES:
- Please submit MYO applications forms under the Request comment.
- Only 2 MYO slots per user, payment due upfront
- No refunds/buy-backs will be issued if you miss the approval end date! Please take care to watch your time, or else you will be out of luck.
- MYO base may only be used for the event, please do not redistribute.
- Users found using the base inappropriately will be blacklisted.
- Minor edits to the base are OK (accessories, clothes). Tails may be redrawn to match hair texture if desired as an option.
- You may ask a friend etc. to complete your slot for you, if you aren't artistically inclined. They must abide by the base and deadline rules, and I would like to know who is doing it for you once decided.

There's a few old ones I haven't bothered with if they have no lore or are essentially retired from creation. I am working on and off on compiling proper info for things, and eventually I'd like to get my own characters loaded up there, but for now I only have a couple as test spots. Admittedly, I still don't know a whole lot about TH and its functions, so if anything looks extra wonky just give me a heads up or suggestion to make things easier.
If you have any of my species that you want to put creator rights to, there's now a proper account for it, hooraaayyyy B')
I'm also putting out a feeler for another MYO event - would you like to see the Guardians make a second round? I am also toying with there being a raffle for just a few MYO Corrupt slots along with them. If I do another Guardian round, I might make a second wave MYO base to separate them from the first (still thinking).

Let me know! I do like to take into account watcher interest when I plan things. People have suggested Longthing/Augur MYOs in the past - the likelihood of a Longthing MYO is honestly very low atm. I am not opposed to an Augur MYO, but fair warning the MYO slots would be slightly more expensive and possibly limited. If there's enough interest in the Augurs for an event despite those facts, I will definitely consider creating a base for it.
the etc is just to say that it is finally starting to feel autumnal and I am pumped as heck guys. get spoopy.

Last Day for Auction & Raffle!
Posted 9 years agoJust FYI, today is the last day to enter for the noodle Raffle! It's also the end date for the auction.
Both will end tonight at midnight EST!
Winners for the raffle will be pulled at midnight, but announced and have filed distributed Friday (because I need to sleep).
Winners for the auction, if not in snipe guard mode, will be informed and given payment info at midnight but have files distributed Friday (also because I need sleep). Since the auctions will have some stacked extras, bonus art pieces will be worked on over the weekend, so winners will receive things in part 1 and part 2.
CYOP World Enders will be finished up and noted out by Saturday! ♥
If I do not reply immediately at midnight, just give me a couple hours please! I'm on call overnight, and there is probably a good chance I will end up having to go back in haha 8'(

Toyhouse in progress
Posted 9 years agoJust FYI, I am finally trying to figure out how Toyhouse works. I am piecing my account together to try and get species lore etc all in one place, and I will let you all know when it's basically ready to view! I need to work on some species pictures and lore adjustments, so it's something I will have to tackle over a span of a few days in my free time.
I am basically toyhouse stupid, but if I'm correct, it allows people to bunch up species in one creator's place right? or something? I DON'T KNOW MAN.
If I'm not just making that up in my brain, let me know. because then it will be easy to conglomerate everybody's designs in one spot and track ownership etc. I am hoping this will be a good way to show the approved Guardians from the MYO event.
If it comes out looking like trash, at least I tried, just pretend I did a good :(

Guardian Raffle Closed // Longthing Auction Open Tomorrow
Posted 9 years agoThe raffle for Nuit is closed! Thank you to everyone who entered, it was fun reading your halloweem tidbits and pizza preferences (even if they were problematic and not green pepper master race). Congrats to Hiddenwolf!
The winner was chosen by a 2 step process with Random.org. First a number between 1-26 was generated, and the corresponding alphabet letter selected. Then I grouped all the users with that letter in their username into a new numerical list, and re-ran a number pull from that pool. Just for those wondering how the selection process went!
Two off base Longthings will be up for auction tomorrow sometime (probably in the AM EST when I get home from work), and the auction will end on the same day/time as the Smolthing Raffle.
Standard auction rules apply: no bullying, no infighting. User may bid on both, but must be able to pay for both if they have highest bid on each at the end. If they are unable to make both payments, they may select one and the other will default to the previous high bidder.
I also finally finished doing clean lines on the World Ender base! I need to drop some hair on them, but I'm satisfied with the outcome. I'm a little stuck on colors though, so. I will have to work on that before any type of batch is ready haha.
On that note, I need to throw myself together for work and try not to fall asleep at the crack of dawn hours, BYE.

I am not expecting many people to notice this changeover since I have no good way of announcing it, but obviously this is my new account because I kind of had no other choice haha. I was gone during the reset or whatever happened, so now I can not log into my old account nor request a password update since apparently I don't even know the e-mail I originally associated with it. So, that leaves me here.
I always hesitate to say I'M BACK, because honestly, I am not consistently online anymore due to work going in and out of "manageable freetime" to "so swamped I basically pass out when I get home". But, I kind of dislike not having an account available for when I am in the mood to post things or do designs. So, here we are.

Last batchers have been refunded since I was not able to get around to doing their icons. It was late and unannounced, but since I had no way to log in and contact people, you just kind of got sudden dollars. Sorry! I wish I could tell when things would get hectic and I would shut down, but clearly I am not good at predicting that. Either way, I apologize for the delay in refunds but everyone should be squared away. I will not be offering icons or anything of that sort atm.

I want to try and do some seasonal releases. I am pretty rusty with designing again thanks to not having drawn much lately, but gdi my noodles.
Since I have to start my account audience from scratch, I am thinking of releasing some smolthings on raffle. I will have spammed up my old page by then, so hopefully people checking will catch my move announcement!
