Posted 13 years agoSo our glitch pictures keep getting taken down by our resident overlords, so I guess I honestly give up.
I don't want to but what else can we do? Glitch art refuses to be recognized as quality even though, there are shit quality glitches
(i.e. broken glitches and fake ones that ran through a generator)
So please people, follow the tumblr and FB. Let glitch-art be seen by all.
Whenever our administration finally recognizes glitch-art is when I suppose i'll update glitch-losers more often.
Until then, keep uploading music I'spose. It seems to be the only thing that is okay on this website.

i have not been a very good admin, trust me i have not ignored any of you.
i promise from here on out to check this group at least once a day for updates and amazing glitch-art.

We have currently gained all you great members and watchers over this short time span, which personally means that this was a sucsess!
Because of this however, it makes it very hard to keep up with whos actually a member!

It's time we showed you how to produce working glitch content into the artistic society knowing as Furaffinity!
I, , personally apologize for the guide not being legible to some, the jpeg compression ruined the picture and made it unreadable.
This guide teaches you how to produce glitch art using Photoshop and Audacity/Goldwave
First thing you do is upload the picture you wish to glitch.
IMPORTANT:MAKE.A.BACKUP.
Once you got that down, save the picture as a .Raw with Photoshop
If you already have audacity/Goldwave, open it
If not, then download it!!
Once you save it as .raw
Its going to have some settings set up and you leave it alone and press ok.
Once you open up Audacity/Goldwave,
Go to File>Import>Raw Data
Locate The .Raw file you created
If you have Winamp like me it should be easy to find.
This is where it gets precise
Once you import the .Raw file, Set the Encoding to "U-Law" or "A-Law"
but remember what you set it as.
After that for BYTE ORDER SET IT as "Big-Endian"
Everything else you should leave it alone.
Now normally every photo has a header
you need to edit it after the header has finished, they are normally placed about 5 second mark.
Highlight the area you want to cover around the 5 second mark as much as you please.
For the sake of the tutorial I did not get very far.
Once highlighted go to Effect>Echo
You should see an obvious change in the wave.
After finishing your editing you go to File>Export
Over-write if you want to then re-open in Photoshop and you should get a pretty neat product. If not, try again!
Remember if you have submissions you want presented, just leave a comment here or write us in a note!
