Yet again we are in a desperate situation. We moved back here to stay with a close friend until we could get back on our feet and now his landlord has decided he doesn't want us here even though we already paid $600 for rent...unfortunately we aren't on the lease so there is nothing we can legally do. Our friend is going to pay us back the $300 that would have given us an extra month but won't have it for awhile. So it looks like we may be sleeping in our truck until we can figure something out since our secondary plan fell through. I do have a job but since its at a daycare I can't start working until I go have my TB test and a mental/physical evaluation and get my Michigan background check done. Although they are helping with the cost of this it will still be more than 2 weeks before I get paid and a week before my boyfriend starts training for his job. Unfortunately this also means I don't have internet and its likely you won't see many uploads from me.

I work as a seaweed harvester in the summer months. Here soon I will likely be up North for a month and a half away from my house and the comforts that come with it. So my goal right now is to save up for a laptop so that I can still work on my art and focus on improving while I'm away. I should occasionally have internet but not often enough for me to be able to take commissions again until probably some time in September or October. The computer we have now is beyond screwed up and I just can't deal with it anymore. So help a girl get a laptop so I can crank out twice the amount of art ;)

My seasonal bosses came back to Michigan. Starting the 13th I will be starting another season of seaweed harvesting. As of right now I have no idea how many hours I will be working but there will be several weeks throughout the season where I will have no access to a computer for weeks at a time. There will be times I might have time to upload stuff but its not likely. The season doesn't end until early October so don't expect a lot from me until then. I will have sketchbooks with me at all times especially when we are up north so I will at least still get practice in. Commissions, trades and requests are closed until further notice.

I'll try and upload stuff once in awhile... but no guarantees.

Because of some great friends I made my goal in less than 4 hours. I can only thank god for making it possible for me to know these amazing people. I will still be accepting commisions cuz I'm still broke lol but at least now I know we will have a roof over our heads. Such a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I will try and come up with some commission stuff here soon so you guys will know what my prices are. I will try and make them as fair as possible (I suck at art pricing -_-).

In a side note because I know it will eventually come up, I cannot work. I am not healthy enough to do so. I'm sick most of the time so I hardly even leave the house besides to get some fresh air or ride along in the car. I have an autoimmune disorder so I can become sick very very easily. I lost my last job because I had no choice but to take sick days and only took them when I absolutely had to and they had a 3 days for every 6 month period rule.
