Ever since like after artfight I guess like, I started sorta just layin low from social medias in general for a while and uhm, started really askin myself if I'm really like... comfortable with bein really out in the open as a creator/artist online and that answer from my brain has kinda turned to like... a loud resounding No? Like... I feel like for a long time I've been Trying to do it somewhat but holy hell I really am just like, very Very self conscious and generally just, not equipped emotionally to really Be Out There.

So uhm, I've kinda just been really rethinking how I wanna approach social media n stuff. I still wanna post some art places! And I'll still do artfight n stuff. but I guess like, I don't wanna be holding myself to expectations any more to be making art for public posting? I think after a while I did just kinda Internalize the expectation that the goal of drawing is, to some extent, a public presence but like... that's obviously untrue and I think it's kinda just stunted me creatively for a long time <:{;; when in reality like... I'm literally just a humble oc draw-er who just. earnestly wants to draw my ocs because I love them. GHDJGDHJ and that's kinda literally it?
I kinda feel like it won't really Change how I post here to be honest since I usually just drop in every few months and dump some art, but I still feel like it's worth mentioning just like... why I've been Basically radio silence everywhere for a good While

Oh yeah, Furlandia went pretty well for me! Still not... great, at talking to people, but progress slowly. It was still really good for me mental health wise though, and I still really want to get out to a bigger con sometime. My heart says I really want to try and get to MFF but my sensible brain says Further Confusion is more realistic, haha.

So, this is actually gonna be the first year since I was a kid that I'm actually not gonna be going to Sakuracon. There's a mix of reasons for it, but they primarily boil down to money, I'm still in the process of looking for a job, and not really feeling as much drive for it/not really being much into anime in the first place. I still wanna go back in the future, but stuff's just not gonna align for it this year.

I'm still definitely going to Furlandia and ANW at least. Depending on how stuff looks in the future, I may also consider a bigger, further out con. Denfur or Further Confusion are ones I'm considering if stuff lines up.

Also, sorry for the radio silence. I've been on this sort of, half hiatus from art/online stuff due to iffy, mental health stuff. I'm trying to ease back into doing stuff, though.

Hello; uhm... so, this is something I've kinda wanted to mention here for a while, but haven't really been sure... how? Or how to articulate? And I still... don't know how for sure DGHJKDHJKD but I'll try.

So... I'll preface by saying, that I'm well aware this isn't really something I can prevent, but I just want to make my feelings/boundaries known. Mostly... just wanna mention that while I really appreciate getting art favorited, I won't deny that it's a bit... awkward, to have my art favorited by accounts that are explicitly fetish based, I can definitely tell that it often happens likely entirely due to my characters' body types, which like... yeah, I find a bit awkward seeing as nothing I post is fetish/kink related, nor is there any indication or categorizing that'd suggest it is?

Also, I only really mean this in regards to accounts that are clearly, like, for kinky stuff and clearly just shooting for kink art, and not just like. Someone who happens to favorite/draw both kinky stuff and non-kinky stuff on an average account... hopefully I'm making sense? Like I don't wanna come off, shamey. I guess bottom line is, it feels a little weird when it's like. Obvious that's the sole reason for favoriting. Words... are difficult

And like... again, I know this issue is pretty unavoidable, particularly on this here site, I guess this isn't really a hard and fast rule or anything, but I just wanted lay down my feelings. I'm also sorry this is a bit of an articulation mess, haha.

JUST GOT home from con and it went pretty well for me aside from getting not quite enough sleep from the beginning GDHJKDGH I have a bit of issue where like, I finish roughly one fursuit body part per convention and always it is in a massive time crunch that makes me lose sleep at the start. I should uhhhhh get better at that GSHDJKGSHJSK but uh yeah I got a little better at that whole talking to people thing and also did not get sick mid con! (which was the case with furlandia this year dfhjksdfhsdjk)

Sorry I've been really MIA lately. I've been all, busy and really trying to get employed. I definitely have a bit of an issue where all my activity comes in spurts before I suddenly ghost, I am sorry!

Year... I did okay on a personal basis actually (at least compared to year before) but I think I did sort of fall into some mediocrity, I've still been very reserved socially and finishing very little art... I don't really formally make resolutions or anything, but I really hope/intend to art more....
