Okay, the animators need to take a step back I think, they are getting too over the top with the expressions in the episodes, Writers also need to lay off the huge amount of 4th wall jokes their were in this episode, there were way too many.

Okay that was the TL;DR now for the my actual thoughts, lets start off with the obvious new addition, the re-mastered theme song, I'm probably going to get a lot of flak for saying this but...I hate it, mainly because of the start, it starts off way to loud, then three painfully inserted loud bangs hurt my hears then a weird noise fades into the song when Rainbow Dash flies towards the town hall, I love the rest of it, but that beginning is just awful.

Now for the episode, we're no stranger for Twilight getting hysterical over the most smallest of detail but I feel they went a bit far here, when the mane was a mess that was okay, but then she starts getting crooked smiles and dilated pupils, I hated that, it was too much mainly because, I'm not an easy guy to scare, but those faces were scarier then most horror films I watch!

Now if they scare me, imagine what those faces would do to children, I've already labelled them as outright nightmare fuel, you could make screamer videos out of those faces and I would believe that they would work, but now that the faces were out of the way, time to tackle the next thing that bugged me, the heavy amount of 4th wall humour.

Don't believe me? take a shot every time a pony looks at the 'camera/audience' this happens so many times this audience, not to mention Spike constantly popping into Twilights imagination in comedic ways I.E Pushing away the back drop/literally popping it with his claw, also Derpy Hooves was shoved to much in our face, I usually like looking for her, but this episode it wasn't even a challenge.

I don't really like this episode, too much just bugged me about it, what scares me more is Twilight was probably made accidently terrifying, next week...Luna is going to be made purposefully grotesque, I'm scared...

okay...here goes...

1) I love Lauren Faust
2) I also love John K.
3) I play too much Team Fortress 2
4) I enjoy breaking time records on games
5) I enjoy collecting any and all gaming merchandise.
6) I can't draw worth crap.
7) I hate grammar nazi's
8) I enjoy roleplaying.
9) But I hate people that roleplay like this *walks up to* hi.
10) I'm a fairly bland forgettable individual.

Even with that new rocket launcher, I do fine, ask people on the canterlot or ponyville server if I annoy them as an engi, they'll say yes.

It would be nice if he got new items, but truth be told, he doesn't need any, he's fine just the way he is /discussion
