Trying to raise and save some money, here's why
General | Posted 11 years agoAhhh okay, I really am in need of money right now so I'm selling some YCH commissions and stuff, again!
The situation is that I've lived here in the middle of nowhere for four years, and without a car it's very hard to get to the grocery stores, or anywhere else, so I really need a car. Here's no buss routes near by, taxi's over-priced, and the ones who let me rideshare aren't always around.
So I really need this one.
I don't get much earnings, so I try to raise some money with my drawings to afford all of these insane costs.
I now have what is called "short-time driver's license."
It's from the "First part" of driving school in Finland, and the total costs have already been close to 3000€ (+4000 USD) so far. This driver's license is running for two years, and before two years have passed I have to go to the "Second part" of driving school, and once I've gone through that I get the final driver's license.
Big thank yous and lots of love to my parents who have helped me out with this alot. And also thanks for everyone who's been buying - and will buy from me in future - some commissions and auctions! You've really helped me so much on this and I couldn't have afforded this without your help! ♥ ♥ ♥
RIGHT NOW (August 2014)
I have already passed the "Practice part" of driving school, it was 210€ (280,50 USD). I had to pay it with my own earnings, which means money I've got from all different sorts of commission works.
I got my first car and I have payed half of it (250€ / 334 USD).
Dad helped me to pay that, my mom's broke right now and can't help much because of that.
On top of that I had to get car insurance which is statutory in Finland, and it's about 560€/year, I'm paying it off monthly.
And also I must pay vehicle taxes which are most likely 100-200€/year.
Before two years have passed from the driving school's "Practise part", I'll have to go to the Third part of the driving school (the "Advanced studies"), which will cost 300-500€... And if I don't go there, I will lose my licence and must start all over again with all the costs.
