In case you guys (mainly prize winners) have been wondering why I'm doing these side jobs, I'm trying to go to a suspension show this weekend. Now I'm about $20 short of getting there, I missed FA:U, I do NOT want to miss getting hooked like a piece of meat. c:

I'm about 80% done with the first of 6 plushies for the prizes, so I'm slowly getting done. Actually, I'm also dragging my feet on it because all but 2 plushies I need materials for and I've got no kind of play money ATM.

Like.... my roomie was laughing at me cuz I put bacon bits (imitation) and soy sauce in my mac and cheese....

I like brownies and mac and cheese too....

Cinnamon (like a whole tbs) in my coffee

Ketchup in mashed potatoes...

Cumin in eggs (this isn't weird at all really.... but everyone I know has never done this)

If you're in the know. I've been sick. I have insurance, but I don't have a prescription plan, and I needed to buy antibiotics, cough medicine, migraine medication, and I needed a refill on my regular meds. I get most of them at walmart, so it wasn't a tough financial blow, but it did bite me in the wallet.

Now I have me badges all sketched/inked, and I wanted to post the status so you guys could see I'm not just sittin on my ass... I take photos of my art because I don't have a scanner (one of the things I was saving up for, that and a laminator)

So I grab my digital camera and THE SCREEN IS BUSTED!

I'm so fucking pissed. I took that thing to metal shows, parties when I blacked out, camping trips, video-recorded roller coasters, IT'S BEEN AROUND THE BLOCK. So I go out of the house for a few days and SOMEONE used it and now, my fucking camera is broke.


And AMAZINGLY no one used it. Even though it wasn't by the computer, where I leave it when it's not in use. This is the last time I allow people to borrow ANY electronic device. I had an MP3 player broken and DVD player "lost" in the past. NOW I gotta figure out a way to get a new one. I really need to get finished with this Art Blitz so I can get back to accepting commissions. I really didn't need another fucking kick in the ribs.

I'm too generous. I need to start being a greedy asshole whith my personal property. Of course all my roomies want to borrow things. But NO ONE wants to take any responsibility for other people's property....

Hay everyone. First off I'd like to say I'm OK and Alive!
I was in and out of hospitals for 2 days. I had to go to a health campus to get MRIS and trot all over the place to prescriptions. Thankfully through it all my headaches ARE migraines, and I got medication for them.

Now my sick. I thought it was just a summer cold, turns out I have bronchitis. (Ain't nobody got time fo that) I'm still coughing up stuff that will give you nightmares. My doctor wants me to quit smoking. I know it's a bad habit. And it may be making my sickness worse... No I haven't been smoking. But I know, as well as everyone else does, that cigarettes are not GOOD for lung health.

I'm feeling loads better, actually I got REALLY bad for a bit there, I had a minor fever. The sort where you sweat and shiver and fidget a lot, I couldn't stop coughing even through "sleep" I've been feeling pretty weak and achey, but I think that's from the lack of sleep.


I'm going to wait of finishing up stuffed toys and move on to my badges, once I can go 10 minutes without hacking up a tablespoon of lung jelly I'll pick back up where I left off.


Thanks a lot for all the well-wishes you guys sent! The support really feels great. I'm sure I'll be 100% better within a week! I've been taking my meds and drinking herbal teas :>

I've been having really bad headaches for the past 3 days and I woke up today with a blasted summer cold.

The summer cold isn't as bad as these headaches... last night I was cutting out patterns for my workload and my vision got so blurry I had to do lay down. I'm keeping myself hydrated, and I took some aspirin (which I never do, but my head feels like it's going to blow up) and the medicine wasn't even helpful.

Just thought I'd tell you why I haven't been active.

I'm starting on the plushies tonight, in no particular order (I'm going I guess by what materials I have available, I'm looking through the refs and thinking I'm going to have to buy a bunch of things from the craft store @.@

I really wasn't off for that long I know... So I doubt anyone noticed lol...

But I've been inactive for the past 2 days because While I was napping the other day a spider thought I was an appropriate meal and decided to bite me.
The side of my hand swelled up real bad and I have a small hole in my hand. I had to actually go to the emergency room (Thank Santa I just got insurance again) and I had to get some antibiotics. This thing got RED SORE and STUNG and itchy ALL TOGETHER. It even gave me a bit of a fever.
I have to pack the hole with saline and the meds are working very well, the swelling is mostly gone and it doesn't really hurt until I start moving it around.... :>


But to add insult to injury. I don't think I'll be making it to FA:U. Which makes me a very sad mule. I was hoping to clop up there and make mischief all weekend for my birthday, but my ride cancelled and I have no way up there...

It's ok though there's always next year.... But the good news for those who won the raffle, I'll be able to start some of those prizes a bit earlier, well.... once this gaping hole in my hand clears up.

So I was working on some plush pre-makes, and I sew all the markings on the face/body before sewing the whole plush together, and I was thinking the faces would make really cute patch badges, something like "paper craft" art, but soft fleece

Would anyone want to be a test subject for these?

I spent some time with an old friend of mine! Hung around china town and went to craft beer places! Tried a really nice saizon, sweet potato FRIES! and ate a delicious bowl of pho. Bummed around Ikea and put babies in ovens! Bought mad. Snacks. And saw a hobo-puppy!

Drank Spike Energy drinks.... then CRASHED. FOR HOURS.

Just got home and I'm gonna go eat some noodles, then work on some plushies to bring to FA:U

Who's over-excited for FA:U?

Ok, So I believe I'm all caught up on my workload, I just got to get a ton of things together to mail. (I'll be going hopefully Thursday, my car is hungry, and I don't have extra gas to waste going to the post office, it's out of my way.)


I am putting a HALT on my plush commissions to get ready for FA:U. I hope to bring up Yarn Tails, Keychains Tails, and I'll have a box of pre-made adoptable plushies I will hopefully be finding good cozy pockets for!

So I've been thinking about this small contest. Last week I made a yarn faux fur tail keychain, and I have yet to sell it. So I've decided to give it away in a little contest. The whole point of this is to gain exposure and spread the word that I am open for commissions to create custom yarn tails.

This will be easy to enter. All you have to do is watch me (if you aren't already) create a journal, and add a link to my page!
I'm going to do an electronic raffle, in which you may be entered several times!

If you enter you will be put in the raffle.

If you can get someone to watch my page you will get a second entry (one per new watch you bring!)

If someone orders a tail from me, because you referred them, you will get 3 more entries! So do any new customers! :)
