I can't get myself to do or finish anything anymore... I owe too much, my future doesn't look all that bright, it's just been a wreck.



So sorry for no art lately, my last few attempts have once again been pretty bad. One thing I've been wanting to do is make updated references for GL and Cocoa, but numerous attempts just have it trashed.



I haven't been really active art-wise, and it seems like this is not just affecting me. It's times like this that I debate on continuing this. When it becomes a chore and not fun anymore... it makes it hard to continue without being critical. I can't draw for myself because the amount of things I owe are too high, and when attempting to draw what I owe, I either can never get it right or can't remember what to do.



I've lost too many people due to this, some even saying they'll never commission me again, and I respect that. I probably wouldn't want to commission myself either. No matter what I do I end up messing up eventually. So many mistakes I have made that just continue to haunt me, and I cannot undo what I did or come back from it. Try as I might, as many times that people just encourage me to "just draw for yourself", I can't bring myself to do that.



I don't flat out give up because there are people who still like what I do, and frankly I kinda still like what I do... but it's at the cost of having a giant weight on my shoulders. So this isn't a "I QUIT!" post, more of a status update (because that's another thing I'm bad at, constant communication). Thank you for reading if you did.

Finally, here's a short lil' demo of what to kinda expect. There will be changes to the final game from this (like more different enemies/item blocks/things like that). Also there might be little bugs/glitches here and there, but I hopefully squashed most of them out. Hope you enjoy it!

Still haven't found a job, been applying all around.

Been helping my parents do things for them, making me stay up till the wee hours of the morning and losing sleep (and causing stress).

I've been attempting to draw and get better but nothing seems to be coming out right~ Trying to get stuff and commissions done once again: so I can HOPEFULLY do more. I do this because I usually can take this workload, just of late I haven't been able to~

Sorry for the wait, it's coming soon though, trying to find think of something simple for next batch of commissions, like avatars or something that I can finish quickly and do multiple while remaining inexpensive for everyone so they can have one.

...and something I can do without the risk of long waits~ Because I HATE making you all wait (which is why I also now only take payments until AFTER it's done)

After I finish commissions/trades (if I ever GET to finish them) How many would be interested in a paid WG comic of sorts? That or I might try something similar to  royaljellysandwich/ jirris's Feed thier Character or  aluminum's Comment WG.

What I'm thinking here:
Paid WG Comic, may be a flat price of $5-$10 starring GL (and maybe other WAY unused characters) in WG-related hijinx (might do multiple ones later with different plots/forms of growth)

Chocolates 4 GL, $7-$10 per part, this one being uneven gains, and depending on how many might be a slow/fast gain (also depending on the majority vote of size that it should be projected to end)

Commentgain, adding a freemium plan to this one: might include a plan where a certain amount donated with $ will double your comment count or a flat rate for a huge gain or something~

Tomorrow I PLAN to host a commission stream tomorrow (or later on today) -> on 7/3/13, hopefully around 12:00pm CST at the latest.

You can get just the sketch for $10 USD, or colorshaded for $14 USD. These are per character so multi-character will be charged separately. I also want to keep it within a SFW/PG satus (as much as the idea of uberfat/fat to stay sfw).

I can't take back anything I've said, even when you tried to help me I just pushed you away. You were always helpful to me and always in good spirits and I ruined everything. I just have to keep my mouth shut next time and just accept what you tell me because if I lose you, then I dunno if I can go on...

This is not the first time it's happened, and quite frankly I keep thinking it'll go away when it just gets worse each time...

So here's my question: who here have I hurt? I've done too many bad things that I can't undo or seem to make up.

In complete honesty this community doesn't need me. All I do is seem to cause problems and rarely take help when people offer it. I'm tired of hurting people and losing friends and relationships.

Am I leaving? Only if you want me to. If you just want me for the art only well, there are TONS of WAY better artists out there that CAN produce quality art at a faster rate and better quality. You want your fat fetish art, go try them. Unless I can get a true conviction from someone that I should stay, I think it's better that I leave.

So while I was eating I decided to check my e-mail, and I got this message saying: I got accepted to the PS3 Beta Test of Final Fantasy XIV. (And just so everyone knows, I applied for it awhile back. That is how I got it.)

Anyways graphics are beautiful, it seems to run in a more stable 30 fps and will seem a little choppy that it's PC/(and soon PS4) counterparts with I think can run it at 60... I'm not sure yet. The game handles real well though, Square-Enix making CGI movies great as always (I wish they could just make animated films of the Final Fantasy series and I'd be happy).

It starts of pretty slow, a lot of backstory and beginner fetch quests. After you level up once or twice you should have a small stack of quests to finally go fight. Seeing as I started a Conjourer (Mage-type) I quickly learned that my auto-attacks seem near worthless and really made me concentrate on my magicks. At first I thought this was a bit odd and offputting, but it helps emphasize the role you're going to be playing.

Controls take a bit to get used to, but thanks to the design of the main actions with the hotbar: it makes doing actions relatively easy, maybe even more friendly than Keyboard/Mouse. Finding quests is a bit difficult since there's no real waypoints or an indicator to lead you. Again, at first I was offput by this but this allowed me to start remembering names a little more and pay attention to my surrounding a bit better.

The game is great, looks great and seems to have quite a bit to offer. Any questions you might have I'll try and answer them~

-Finally moved out of my Grandma's, got my own room, bed, and (a tad more) privacy

-Got home-based internet (FINALLY)

-Got a good paying (government) job

-Due to the negotiation and failure of agreement in the government itself, American government jobs are shaving off hours/laying off: I'm going to be laid off soon

-Due to soon layoff, gonna have a bit of a hard time paying bills and such~

Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes (a month+ too late lol) just got cash and a pie for a gift this year, tis okies, it was some good pie =D

Anyways, haven't been on, been busy with multiple things. Within the last few weeks been keeping up with my uncle who died not yesterday, but the Sunday before. He's had this cancer for a long time and I haven't been able to see him (lives a bit aways from in town) until recently and man he looked... terrible. Every time I saw him he had a smile and jokes abound, and always had quite a bit of weight on him. Seeing him slim and frail and lifeless for the first time was just startling and I was caught in shock on how much this changed. So I spent some much needed time with my cousins and aunt for the past few weeks to help them through this.

On a different note, kinda coping through some mess at home myself I've been going to places occasionally to play some PlayStation All-Stars, since my TV at my Grandma's broke and we have no reliable internet here. (Only via phone, which is sloow). So if you've seen me on and you're gonna criticize me about that, that's why.

Commissions are closed and some of you should know, since why take on more commissions if I haven't finished my current ones? I haven't touched this computer (literally) in weeks due to all the stuff happening (constant cleanups, saving for the new house, my uncle, family, the whole works)

Once commissions/trades and art I owe are mostly out of the way I want to ask you something:

You remember that fatfur game I've been trying to work on and finish? Well I decided to..... keep on working at it! (You though I was gonna say cancelled, silly you). Anyways, I kinda feel gypped out since I was working on it with GameMaker 8.1 when Studio came out. Long story short, I might do a kickstarter VERY soon, since apparently Yoyo games is offering a discount till the end of the year to upgrade to Studio. It has refinements to the runtime engine and has the ability to expand to multi-platform. This is only fueled better with the addition of Steam adding it to it's official library of programs and compatibility.

I have until the end of the year to get funds for that if those are still interested, but I'm going to warn you. I know this sounds very stupid to announce but you all kinda know this about me recently (or for awhile) that I have a HUGE problem finishing what I start (commissions anyone and all those false promises)? It's not some scam just so I can upgrade to Studio for my own leisure, I WANT to finish this game, and I constantly have to start over due to some engine problems (which Studio has the Box2D engine... if it can fix my platform physics it'll be a HUGE help.)

I dunno, but commissions to be done, cleaning to do and all this mess, and I just wanted to give you guys a head up.
