Well. The final deadline of May 10th is coming up fast, but the good news is after that I'll have more free time to draw and post things here :3

For the few people who are reading this I would like to tell you that I've been saving up my classroom and free time doodles to edit them and post them once I get the chance, so look forward to that. I've managed to develop Tatu a bit more (He still looks a lot like a blue Tatsu-nii) and have gotten the hang of a lot of things.

In other news I've grown from using watercolor pencils to using actual tubes of watercolors and a pallet! Now I need to do more work with markers and digital art! Also, I've been accepted to not just the University of Lethbridge, but also to SIAST here in Saskatchewan, and to NAIT in Edmonton! So I'm super duper excited to graduate! ... but still scared too.

Anyways, this update will probably be unseen, but I just wanted to let the few people who are seeing this know how glad I am that you follow me!

Good News- I finally managed to pull myself away from video games and time wasting to draw.
Bad News- Don't have an Easter picture to share ;w;

Good News- I managed to draw an amazing picture just using simple lines as a base.
Bad News- Muscles still hate me...

Good News- I've been accepted for general admission for the University of Lethbridge.
Bad News- They don't seem to have a graphic art's program

Good News- Advanced Placement (More advanced classes) Studio Art work has been going along smoothly
Bad News- Have to learn to use actual watercolor paint rather than the watercolor pencil.

Good News- I'm graduating this year! Yay Independence!

Oh god... I can't seem to draw hair for the LIFE OF ME!!!! that and facial expressions...

Ended up drawing a comic in response to another artist's comic (you probably know who it is).
It's the first comic that I drew and I actually like it... yaaaaaaaaay.

I've decided to start a new picture based on my recent obsession with folding paper cranes, and I've been thinking about doing either a livestream for art or for playing games...

But I suppose no one cares enough about me for me to start doing that huh? Oh well.

I got my AP art final done with and now I have the theme for my twelve concentration pieces: Tarot Cards. It's so fixed that I'm practically forced to learn how to control my creativity >:D

Anyways... Stuff has been going on, but I'm getting things done now.

New art will come in time, I just need to iron out a few wrinkles and such but it shouldn't take too long.

in other news PAPER CRANES!!!! SO MANY PAPER CRANES!!!!... okay it's like... 5 of them, but I only have 995 to go ;w;

After a wonderful livestream chat with some fans of Kuron I began to draw more and found that a bit of advice that I got there really helped me and gave me my motivation back.

But I might not get some more art out this week due to finals and me getting the much anticipated Ni no Kuni game :D

But I do plan on working on my art a bit more seriously in hopes that the more work I put into it, the more I'll get out of it.

... Why am I being ignored? I know people get my journals and all... but I never get any indication of them reading my journals...

No one looks at my art and tells me what they dislike or think could be improved... so how am I supposed to get better so I'm more confident?

Finals are going to be over this week... so I'll be drawing more to try and put myself out there.

Can anyone tell me why no one notices me? Why I'm suddenly invisible. Why it's not just out in the world? Why am I suddenly spiraling into depression thinking about this?

I require assistance in the ways of anatomy and color.

First of all: How do I get my more masculine and buff characters to look less like muscular children/Teens?

Second: How do I add more layers of color without having to constantly switch the shades or use a burn tool?

Finally: How do I get noticed so people actually pay attention to me and give criticism so I don't have to ask like this?

Up- Started drawing some great art pieces to share with you people
Down- I can't edit/post any of it because of previous commitments and finals are getting closer...

Up- Bought a bunch of sketchbooks and pencils and I'm working hard to draw more

Yay for Christmas gifts! I got a new PSVita (PSNetwork name is chimeraredd BTW) and Persona 4 The Golde- oops... I mean Persona 4 Golden (Because the word The is hated by Atlus)... I wonder if I should do one of those screenshot Lets play thingies, I've got plenty to react to now.

AP Art is going good and I've got a nice picture in the works too so I guess I'm good on that front.

Between times when I'm not rehearsing I'm working on the little things with my art such as the eyes, ears, face, and hair (Other things come later) but I guess I'll work on having a New Years picture out for you lovely people who care enough to at least look at my art... Ah well at least I still have the hope that people will follow me later on.

I'm currently trying to make a comic (much like Kuron's comics) about some things that are kind of urking me or just... stand out-ish in my life.

I might create a voice file of me singing some songs if I ever find the inspiration to do so.

I don't know why I'm worried... Kuron (my favoritest artist evar >W<) is around four to five years older than me I think. I'm young and I have plenty of time to work out my own style and gain watchers. I gained a new one and was reminded that no matter how terrible I think it is, there is someone who likes it or something to learn.

Anyways... I'm graduating and going to have to chose a college to go to. I'm honestly terrified of the process of signing up, but I'm also scared because of all the places I can go, I won't know anyone there... Will anyone like me? Will people accept me? All of my joy and open personality comes from the fact that there are people I can lean on. But in a college of students that are aspiring to become great artists like me... well...

But I shouldn't worry. I can spend the rest of this year making the grades I need to enter and work on my art, with the help of my AP Art classmates and hopefully all you amazing people who take the time to read up on my journals, look at my art, and just make me feel special every now and again.

After a nice long drawing session and some color practice I can say that I no longer feel like I'm being ignored. I just need to put out more artwork and people will take notice and maybe critique my art. If anyone has thought of critiquing my work don't hold back, I'm more upset that people don't say there is anything wrong with my art.

I could use a lot of opinions seeing as how I am pursuing a graphic art degree and maybe a digital art degree, so please tell me what I can improve instead of me guessing.

Apparently I unwillingly named Tatu (my eastern dragon) almost the same thing as Tatsuki from Morenatsu. Unfortunately in the translation it only has Tatsuki, but apparently in Japanese his name can just be tatuki. No one knows the true translation unfortunately...
So I literally based my character's look and now his name on Tatsuki... oh my.

The new JuuS (Juuichi/Shin) patch is out in japanese! Now if only I could read it then I could play the game without the two month long wait ;w;

I am still struggling to learn Japanese, for some reason the lettering and kanji just won't stick in my head and I can't remember how to speak it to well because of the fact that I have no one to speak it too... *le sigh*

On a brighter note, I managed to finish the line art for a Christmas themed picture and I will get it out hopefully before the 21st otherwise it will be too late to get it out for Christmas.

I hope that anyone who reads this can help me find a good way to learn Japanese (and maybe Korean if need be) because I hate having to wait so long for translations TwT

The possible date of the Japanese patch is 12/8 :3 Factoring in the month or two to translate it I estimate that I'll be talking to that big fluffy bear in around February at the latest.

Also I have once again jumped into the whole "I'm not good at art" thing... so expect some minimalist comics and stuff from me if I ever get the time to make one.
