SO, as I've mentioned recently, I'll be moving houses soon -- in fact, tomorrow's the big day! Today we finish packing up the rest of our stuff, tomorrow we move it all to our new home, and we'll spend the next few days unpacking and getting settled in. After that, I'm going to need to really bust hump to pay bills, since the month will be a third of the way over and I haven't really done any work this month yet.

To that end, I'll be doing a quick run of colored sketch commissions to get my finances a bit more stable, and then I'll be opening for a run of potion roulette commissions, where an RNG will determine what kind of potions you receive from a list! If the thrill of something uncontrolled happening to you appeals to you, this should be a good time <3

As a heads-up, I'll probably also be raising my prices a bit since rent in the new place is a good bit more expensive than what I've had here. I wish I didn't have to, but it'll definitely help me make ends meet without working myself even harder.

First off, I'm going to be moving to a new house at the beginning of September! It's going to be a good bit bigger than where we're living now, which is good news for sure. This does mean there's a lot of packing and such to be done, though! We gotta figure out how to get all that done while simultaneously making sure we work enough to pay our bills, and -- I'm a little stressed about it, but I know we're gonna be okay. I'll need to sort things out with my Patreon obligations because I don't think I'll be able to make all of those this month, and possibly next month too? But it'll work out.

Second off, in happier news, it's my birthday in a couple weeks! On the 28th of August, I turn 31 years old. Pretty hyped about that!

Today I will be a part of a fundraiser to help Keystone and Fallfeathers, two dear friends of mine, who lost pretty much everything moving across the country to get out of an awful living situation. Thankfully, the gofundme campaign has already met their emergency needs, so they're not in immediate danger now, but they are still several thousands of dollars in the hole due to lost and broken furniture, computers, and even their car.

So there's a couple things going on right now that might mean changes coming soon.

First off, I've recently started therapy to deal with some issues I've had for years. Physical and mental health matters have gotten to the point where I can't really ignore them anymore. The short version of the story is that it's possible that I may need to devote much less time and energy to art in the near future so I can, you know, stay alive better. Secondly, a couple months ago I changed up my Patreon a bit to include commission discounts at various tiers. I have sadly not been able to allow most of my patrons to make use of these discounts due to my large backlog of public commissions. That isn't fair to the people who pledged to those tiers to get those discounts, so starting in June I am making a bit of a change to how I work on commissions again. Every month I'm going to open for a short run of patron-only commissions. I will not be able to fulfill every patron's order every month due to health and energy reasons, but I will take on a few so the people who are pledging at those tiers get what they're wanting. This puts my public queue at a slightly lower priority, but I still fully intend to complete all the orders I have confirmed as taken. For those of you on my public queue, I apologize for the wait you have already endured for me to get to you, and if this new arrangement is unacceptable to you, please reach out and we can work something out. But take this as reassurance that, if I have accepted a commission from you, I DO still intend to complete it. I know some of you have been waiting for a while and again, I apologize for that wait, but I AM doing my best to get to you.

Hey, all! I've made some changes to how I take commissions, most notably in the prices. In the interest of full disclosure, I'm letting you all know that I am increasing my prices by 50%of their previous price. This seems like a huge jump, I know, but my living costs in Sweden necessitate a bit of a change if I want to keep doing this full-time.

First off, I want to mention that these prices DO NOT AFFECT people who are already in my commission queue! Changing the price on someone after we've agreed on one is really scummy, and I'm not about to do anything like that to y'all. However, this WILL affect any orders I take in the future, and I've already changed my commission form to reflect this. I am not currently taking new orders at the moment, but this change will affect clients the next time I open up.
