Hey there! Life kicked my butt! I've haven't been arting as much as I've liked to, and I realized how much that made me unhappy??? So I'm going back at it and gonna try and draw more than ever! Even if its bad, so long as I make something!!

okay so I dropped off the map for a bit there! I was busting my butt with over time and working both holiday weekends. But things should be settling down!
With all that sweet sweet holiday pay I'll be getting a new sewing machine I've been wanting for a while, so keep an eye out for custom embroidery or plushies in the future!


also I'll prolly make a bigger post for it down the line, since I didn't think it'd have to be said, but I want it to be known that "alt-right", "white nationalists" A.K.A nazi scum aren't welcome here. I don't want or need your support if you align yourself with that bullshit, so fuck off.

okay not as much as i thought since i can't find a bunch and what I can find isn't up to snuff lol but anyways, expect to see from me regularly

So a lot has happened in the past bit!
For the past year and a half I have been working retail and boy, lemme tell you. It was so emotionally and physically draining. I'm very much an introvert, so dealing with hundreds of people everyday was so draining that when i'd get home, i just wouldn't have the energy to talk to my friends. It was horrible. Combined with that both my work place and the place I was staying at were severely effecting my physical health (I have really bad allergies to dust and am asthmatic), I was just lethargic and miserable.
But now
Now I have a new job at the hospital. One of the best in the region. Its better pay, and soon I'll be working my preferred shift. There's so many more benefits and its amazing. Best parts are, its very clean so i can breathe fine and there is not a whole lot of people interaction. The past two weeks have just been cleaning blood off of things quietly to myself and I couldn't be happier!

On top of that, I have a new apartment, rooming with my best friend. Things a still a little hectic. I have a lot of things to unpack yet and sort through. But its been amazing. So with everything going my way, I'm going to have a lot more energy to be active here again. My art has suffered and I haven't been drawing as much as I've been wanting too. So I'm gonna start posting what I do have, and start post some new stuff soon!

I keep saying I want to be more active here and during the summer I think I am actually going to try.
I have been really stressed these past couple months. My parents got divorced and my father won't stop harassing me and now he's even showing up at my work place and threatening me. I just don't have the mental energy for about anything anymore. going to court tomorrow to try and get a refrain from.
In the good news though, i have a room to myself again and a proper desk to work at, so I've been drawing and sewing again. Gonna try and eventually take photos of everything, hopefully after things settle down.

i've been working a lot lately and its leaving me really drained

i haven't really been able to do art, or much of anything really
and on top of just being mentally and physically tired
i'm finding it harder and harder to try and reach out to people

i really want to socialize more, but it just seems to get harder and harder everytime i try
i guess i really just don't want to get burnt again? idk

So I have an interview tomorrow!! I'm very excited, it'll only be a seasonal cashier postion, but I'll take anything honestly.

I'm spending the night at a friend's house because they are taking me there. And the day after I am going to the dentist to get some major dental work done! Fun times @ v@

I can't scan anything right now, so I am going to try and take pictures later.
I've noticed that some stuff I scan, it doesn't show up right at all? Like hot pinks and really bright blues are totally washed out and dark. No amount of messing with it in Sai has fixed this?
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm nonbinary, they pronouns please! I'm a self taught artist. I like to switch it up from markers, papers, embroidery, paint, whatever my grubby hands can get on pretty much! I mostly draw ponies because I'm stuck in pastel hell, hahah.

As for fandoms, I'm currently into Steven Universe, MLP, LotR/Hobbit, and Mass Effect. Hobbies include rocks and uh, more rocks. hahah. I do a lot of sewing, and embroidery. If I'm not playing a video game, chances are I am making something.
