Hey guys~
As some of you know, I kept mentioning that I want to do art raffles. But I struggle sitting down and actually setting things up, postpone it, postpone it and so on, lmao. xD However, now I thought of something much simpler, something long term. So here we go!

As of this year, 2024, I will hold one raffle per month. For the start, the prize will be a single character bust/hip upwards, with no background. If I have more time at some point I might be able to do more. ;3

To enter, all you need to do is to comment on the art I post that month. If I post 4 drawings, and you comment on 1, that is one entry to the raffle. If you comment on all 4 posts, that is four entries into the raffle. At the end of a month I will pick the winner using the Wheel of Names. Then the next month and next raffle starts.
This will be easy for me to handle, and it will reward people who take the time to react to my posts instead of just scrolling past them. (No worries, I am not angry if you just look at the thumbnail. <3) I hope that it will also motivate me to draw more again, so that you actually have something to comment on! ^^

Hey guys!
Just letting you know that I am fine. :D It all went well and while I am tired and sore I am mostly okay and back home by now. <3

And O MY G you guys are so wonderful! Really, Thank you so so much for wishing for the best for me and chatting with me. It might sound weird, but talking with some of you how I spent my maybe last hours, what my last tea will be, what's the last song I'll hear - and that on a non-serious level... It really helped me a lot. x3 For some reason I was freaking scared after I woke up, and wanted to stay in bed at first. But then I looked at all your messages again and... I just wanted to believe it'll be okay! And suddenly it was so much easier. You got no idea how damn grateful I am! ;u;

Also... It turned out today that ENGLISH is my MAIN LANGUAGE! xD I couldn't believe it, haha. But much to my confusion, when I was awake again, the doctor told me he thought I'm German and that he didn't notice any accent... Like, Whut? Yes I AM German. Lived in Germany all my life. So what was that about? Well, it turned out that the moment I woke up again I started talking to the nurses in English! XD Saaaaadly I don't remember it. But I guess it's now certain that English is my main language. XDD


Again, Thanks so much everyone! I hope I wasn't too dramatic. Didn't want to freak anyone out, but man was I freaked out myself. ^^;

♦ In September 2019 I'll clean my gallery up a bit. Meaning that I will delete plenty of stuff! If there's something you still wanna see in the future, feel free to save a private copy for yourself. ♦

♦ No more NSFW art. Well, atleast in my gallery. I'll draw it for trades/commissions, but NOT POST it. (People receiving such art are free to post ofcourse.) If I choose to keep any nsfw images in my gallery, they will be moved to my scraps. The naughtiest art you'll get from me in the future will be artistic nudity or teasing, non-revealing images. I just lost my interest in drawing nsfw art. So unless it's for other people, I got no reason to make it. -shrugs- ♦

After an hour I went back to studying. Yup. XD It's what I do most of the time. I still got so much to do, I could cry all day. But that wouldn't help. So I gotta keep going. Let's hope that I get plenty of stuff done this year. Or rather, understand a lot! xD It will be harsh, but there's no giving up!

I also need to eat better again. I am back to starving myself day by day. That doesn't help one's efficiency with studying/work. D:

Studying more, working on my health, that is almost all. Else there is only art left. And here I decided to invest more time into line-sketching and do more detailed and focused anatomy studying again. Sketching with lines usually takes 1/3 to 1/2 of my entire drawing time. Even on bigger illustrations. No joke, I usually spend 2-10 hours a picture just sketching lines. I really need to do something about that. So it'll be my main focus this year.

Not much art to expect from me I guess. BUT! There is one thing you can look forward to. And it's a really rad collab with  nighttwilightwolf about Team Skull! *o* Pssst.... IT'S SO AWESOME ALREADY! -squeek-

Yes, this is the best part about it! I still got stuff to post, and some commissions to do. But... Look forward to post-August. <3

My commission status is closed, and it will stay like that for a while. I did earn a neat bit of money this year, so I will focus on studies and my own ideas for a while. <3 Don't get me wrong, I am not against sfw stuff, but I totally want to push my skills on nsfw art, and I got so many sfw commissions, I already had to force Areyath to commission me for something nsfw now. XD <3

I also had plans for a nsfw pokemon comic ♥ - for far over a year. I might try my hand on it as a side project. There is so much I want to draw, someone a) save me b) gimme sketching skills.

♥ EUROFURENCE?! YES! ♥

I indeed will be at the EF again this year! Come'on, it's in my hometown, yeah? ♥

♥Staying at the hotel? Nope. At home, coming and leaving by bus and train. (It's only an hour. :3)
♥Suiting? Nope. Sadly had to put my Caterpie suit project on ice due to... Reasons. Ya know? Happens. -shrugs- And I don't like the head of my Arrowcat suit. Might wear Tail and/or paws though.♥

But you can hug me if you see me, we can take pictures together ♥ - though I always look bad on them, and if you want to buy me a drink or invite me to a meal, I won't say no. :P My funds for the EF this year I just a third of what they were last year, so no food for me unless I bring something from at home I guess, haha! xD

Else I'll be mostly hanging out with  Huskyluw and her boyfriend,  goldenfur I'll cling to you quite often if I find you, be warned, and  herpydragon and  customcostumes are also people I plan to hang out with. And who else I might come across. I am anti-social, but no one notices. So don't be surprised if I seem super social. :P

I HAVE A MOBILE PHONES SINCE THIS YEAR! So if I can get connected to the internet at the estrel you'll be able to reach me through either skype or FA. <3 But if you would like to meet, maybe tell me before hand.

How to recognize me? Not too tall, thin woman with too white skin and with long black hear, black clothes, wearing chain necklaces (often too many) and definitely a badge with a yellow Caterpie on it. ♥ ... There won't be many others, don't worry. XD

♥ POKEMON USUM ♥

♥HOLY FUCK A REMAKE AFTER JUST A YEAR?! XD Nintendo and gamefreak were quick on remaking this. Let's hope for an actual post game story aswell as more focus on the side characters. Many characters like Kikui, Guzma and Plumeria have hints on interesting backstories, but we kind of don't get told anything. Well, I hope this will be awesome, and I ma excited for it.

♥What do you think about us getting a remake after just a year?
And please let's not talk about Lillie being in Kanto. It might be an option, but they said it's an alternate story, if so SM never happened and Lillie never left for Kanto. Alternate storyline and sequel are DIFFERENT THINGS. This is becoming a petpeev of mine, honestly. XD

💛 Hey guys! *o*
Here is a little report on my day at the Japan Festival in Berlin (last saturday~).
(Pictures of stuff I bought near the bottom of the journal)


Man it was sooo awesome! I was really anxious first though as I went alone and didn't know anyone ther but I told myself it'll be much like EF and hey, that even worked. :P By the way, originally I wanted to go there on saturday & sunday, but I got to see basically all I wanted to on saturday, spent my entire budget of a bit more than 200€ and was all beat on sunday, so I made that one a me-day and spent some time gaming and planning my Caterpie-suit. x3

So, back to the Japan Festival!
When I got there I saw a couple of interesting things I wanted to sketch, but it took me some minutes before I felt brave enough. I mean, to stand right infront of a table where people want to sell stuff, and not buy a thing but just sketch... My mind was telling me it's weird, haha. xD (People only smiled at me though, so I think atleast no one was angry or so?) I bought some real nice chocolate by the way, one with sesam and one with Yuzu. This is one of the first tables I cam across after all, hehe. And not long after at an anime themed table I got a One Piece t shirt with the text 'We go to the New orld' and Luffy on it. 💚 I then walked around more and sketched a bit before going to the first 'panel'. While waiting I was sketching, and someone complimented me on the sketch of a stuffed panda I made. Remember this one for later! The panel itself was about japanese songs. And guess what I did? Sketching! Yeah I take my New Year resolutions serious, haha. xD Then i watched something about Ikeba - and sketched. Next I walked around more and thought about whether to get something to eat, but the first floor was so full of people eating since it was just past noon, I chose to instead walk around more. And...

Spent more money.

yeah. xD Got a One Piece bag, and another One Piece shirt before I went around a bit. This second shirt I bought, I totally had to get it. I once saw a man in a tv show wear it, and since then I wanted a 'Grandline University' shirt too. Was so happy when I saw it being sold there! XD I also saw a Luffy and Law cosplayer. But man, asking Fursuiters to take photos of them feels muuuch easier. Like, you don't see their faces in a suit, I figured out it's a thing I love about fursuiter, haha. xD I also sketched a bit before going to the next panel. That one was about Taiko Drums, a cool show, much fun to listen to. 💜

Next I went to another stage again and listened to some information about studying in japan. (From the table of those who held that presentation I got a few flyer later. There is actually a somewhat affordable japanese school in my city. So many, if I one day feel stuck studying by myself, I might consider going to a school again.)

No sketching next, promise! Went to the second floor after all. The Anime/Manga/Cosplay floor. Yeah, I lost some more money there.... A lot went into sweets. I mean, strawberry pocky, and ハイチュウ! The single bonbons have paper with adorable japanese messages on them. 💙 Man I love these chews. xD I also got a One Piece bowl, now I can have my cereals in a OP bowl, yaaay! (It's a big deal for me, yeah?! XD) Also, I was suuuper tempted to buy a Eustass Kid figure, (Kid ❤️), it was the only Kid related thing I saw, but 80€ for a figure? Oh I am kind of glad I didn't do it, just kind of though, and just because it's my least favourite figure of him. The guy I talked to earlier, while waiting for the first panel... Remember? I met him and his girlfriend's daughter there again and we talked about the figures and prices and so on. It was nice. If you randomly get to know people and meet them again later as if it's the most natural thing ever, it's what I love about cons! And hey, I found another way to spend my money. I bought a sword for 50€ instead - 30€ less after all. XD So now I own a replica of Kikoku - Law's sword. And that thing is huge! Alost as long as I am tall! Well, I'm small, but still! as quite a thing to carry around in the cardbox. xD

A but I bought the sword a bit later actually, I first went to the 3rd floor and got it on the way back down! The 3rd floor was about japan. I looked around and sketched a bit, but that's mostly it. And hey, sketching some wooden house got a me a fair amount of compliments, but having people walk up to me, stand beside ma and look or ask what I am drawing is... MENTALLY HARD! But I survived, haha. Got myself a Nigiri with duck and red cabbage before I went down. Man, this was like christmas but with no potato and rice instead, haha. xD (Potato, red cabbage and duck/goose make a typical Christmas dish here.) I then went to get the sword, and went down to the first floor again. Got myself a spot to sit down and ate. Definitely want to eat that again. Hmmmm ~ 💚

And well, then I lisened to someone playing a flute and then listening to song of Japan and Totoros! Man that was nice. 💛 Then listening ot the Taiko Drums again before watching some Kempo. I then walkd around a bit more, and then finally went home. I was tired from being focused for more than 8 hours and heavily loaded with all the stuff I bought. My first bag long full, and the second bag I got was full too, + the huge sword in the cardbox. That luckily wasn't heavy, so I could cary it with one hand even, but it wasn't that handy to carry. hen I was back home I basically dropped dead. Well, after making the table in the living room be a mess. :P

Sunday I took some time for myself, slept long, had nice pasta, played Okamiden again after wanting to do so for 2-3 months. I made some sketches on how to build my Caterpie suit's head with mesh, too. And aa bit drawing in the end~ A real nice weekend if you ask me! :D

Hey guys....
To make it short: Does Fanart have a future?

For around a year I am wondering now if there's really any sense to focusing on drawing fanart.
Could it be better to switch over to general furry/animal art instead?

♦ Fanart can not be sold - just check patreon, haha.
♦ Fanart has the risk to get taken down at any time.
♦ Fanart usually reaches only a certain group of people.
♦ Fanart is often made fun of, people just 'fail' to do 'original things' you know? e.e
♦ Fanart often isn't welcome in art shows or alike.

It's the opposite for general animal art, isn't it?
I gotta say, I see a lot of amazing fanartist getting forgotten and overlooked, while people drawing 'general animals' seem to have it so much easier...

I am wondering if I should change my course? And please don't give me a 'draw what you enjoy' - this is not what this is about. I see art as a job and this as an industry I am part of. And the world keeps changing, to keep standing at the same place is fatal to a lot of people. Had been, and will be. And I want to get somewhere with what I do, and build up something for the future. So if the course I am heading now is not promising I am more than willing to do something else. So please let me know what you think, where artists really have a future. I feel lost and really need some advice and thoughts and two cents and so on. :S

HEY MY LOVELIES! :D

I just wore my ArrowCat partial for the first time outside~ (finished the head today, lol) So I see myself as a fursuiter now, woot! XD
Sorry for not having any pictures yet, but I plan on wearing it to EF if possible. The issue though, the head is painful to wear. It's so heavy it slides off my face, and I carry the entire resin mask's weight (+ foam padding and fur) on my chin, and even the upper end of the mask on my head is hurting me. Gotta try to sew some weight into the neck area of the fur I guess, otherwise I have no idea what to do about it sliding down so much, it's rather uncomfy and painful. Oh also, I can see really almost nothing in that thing. Like, Not even my own feet if I look down, walk stairs like that, hahaa... :/

But that aside! I just had muuuuuuuuuuch fun outside!
I accidently scared some dogs, and there even was someone taking pictures of me and filming me. (Just too bad they didn't walk up to me. xD) Some other people walked past and just looked - and for drivers I can't say a thing, as I couldn't see them or if they looked at me. xD BUT THE HIGHLIGHT! There were children on the other side of the street, and someone yelled 'Look a blue and white cat!' and I waved at them, and oh my god they waved back! xD Two more times there had been children a bit away, and each time I waved at them again they waved back. I am so fucking happy about this right now - I love children and it's so awesome to entertain them! Grinning like a stupid Caterpie right now!!! akjfnjkshfkf X3

By all means, one day I want a young dedicated person as my apprentice trying to teach them about life any art. Sorry if this sounds hilarious, but I am actually really serious about that goal. °///°

Ah, my mother who I had been outside with (aswell as our dogs) had been rather ashamed of being seen with me, but seems as if it entertained her in the end aswell. <- Not that I care too much, I insisted on coming along, so she couldn't do a thing about it. + alone I would have walked against a thousand things! :P


While I love my first partial I am not sure if I will wear it often though, it's just really uncomfy and painful to wear and I am not fully happy with my furring job on it. ^^; That aside, I'll try to get one or two pictures up of it tomorrow. <3 AND if anyone has a good knowledge on fursuit making - I aim to make myself a Caterpie fullsuit for next year. So if anyone wants to advice me or brainstorm with me for possibilities to make that real, note me, I'd love you forever. xD <33

That being said, I will wash my hair now so I can re-dye it tomorrow and look properly for EF. Off I go, hoping for a few comments though. <3

Ah myself I am not playing GO by the way, as I got no mobile phone. When I go to school again this autumn I most likely need one though... Is anyone of you having a not so old phone they don't need, because it got replaced with a newer model? Would be of a lot help, as I am totally screwed moneywise lately - but not wanting to bother you with any complains about it though. Hey guys! Just an updates on what's ahead! :D
Originally I wanted to start working on an own comic this month, and the sad news are: I can not do so. The reason? Those are good news actually! :3

So... I'll try to keep it short:
♦ I settled on a comic Idea to work with! Title will be 'A Fulfilling Encounter' (Thanks to areyath for reminding me of it)
♦ I have a couple of important medical appointments this month, and many forms to fill out, authority appointments, but things are going well!
♦ There are TWO interviews ahead! One next week and one the week after! The latter being a 2 hours long written test + talk. xD

I am seeking out a place for an apprenticeship, and truth be told, I never thought I'd get even a single invite, now I already had one interview in April, and two ahead. But that first interview prove me I need to rework on a lot of the stuff I once learned at school, so now I am studying. MUCH. Wich is the main reason I got very few time to draw. Trying to rework as much as I can in maths, physics and chemistry, aswell as studying the proper words in english and japanese and preparing much for those 'common knowledge' questions. So much to do as you can see~

Last but not least!
♦ I am working on a non-public commission for someone. So the few time I have left to draw will be spend on something not going online.
Sorry about that, but truth be told, I don't feel guilty actually. Customers are kings and queens! xD

In general things are going well, even if my comic project is now put on hold. I still want to go more into comic work, no worries. It's annoying and sucks but also is much fun! :D xD So when things have calmed down a bit, and I am waiting for replies, there will be more time for art again. And with the new funds I'll finally get a laptop fan and ordinary fan, so I should be able to somewhat work digitally this summer too! <3 Aaaand I want to host a couple of art giveaways, to bring some life to my Weasyl, Tumblr and maybe back into my DA account. Keep your eyes open for those! :D
