The more detailed your picture (like 4+ characters with huge full background all in color) is, the longer it will take me. If you need it by a certain time, LET ME KNOW. :)
Almost all my art is DIGITAL. You are welcome to print out a copy of your own commission to hang on the wall, etc. you will get the high-res version upon completion.
For real media commissions, they will all be done on 9x12 watercolor paper, or 11x14 Bristol. I will pay shipping to the US. International shipping will be paid for by buyer.
I accept payment up front, through Venmo, Cashapp, or PayPal. (Venmo preferred)

Summer Vaca~ WHO DO I OWE??
Posted 11 years ago'Sup guys! So, after working myself into the ground for over a year and completely focusing on tattooing, I'm taking a short sabbatical over the summer. Which means I would really like to get back to all the folks on here that I still owe art to! I'm finally in a slightly more stable living situation with some moderate privacy and the time and focus to work on some digital art. I certainly would like to get back to uploading here every now and then at least.
So! What that means is, I would really appreciate a note from anyone I owe art to, and please refresh my smouldering brain meats as to what it is that I owe you, or if it has since changed in any way like updated character designs or whatever! Thank you kindly in advance. Also, my very sincerest apologies for making you all wait so long. Life has been extremely challenging for the last three years, from apprenticeship to establishing my career. I know it's not going to truly slow down anytime soon, as I'm just getting myself into the game. But I would like to take advantage of what free time and resources I have at my hands now...so...come at me, guys! Please and thank you!
Also after tattooing for some time now, I have a decent collection of nifty critter, fantasy critter, video game and nerd culture tattoos and designs I've done - would there be some interest in seeing this stuff?

Aside from that....I've been very busy tattooing lately, and still have a couple commissions that need catching up and finished, but they are getting there. :)

Tattoo Art??
Posted 13 years agoSo I'm posting this journal to see if anyone would be interested in seeing some of the tattoo related art I've been doing over the last year or so. It's not really furry related per se, and I'm not entirely sure I can upload the human art here? I have no idea about FA's rules or whatever on that. HOWEVER, I have a ton of animal designs I've done like owls, fox skulls, zombie unicorns, etc. Right now the only place I have it showcased is my personal Facebook. But if a few people are interested, I would be happy to upload some of the stuff I've done. At least I could be putting up a few new fresh things while I work through my backlog.

Posted 13 years ago....crap. o_o The last year has been insane. I'll spare you guys the gory details....but I've moved three times, lost two jobs, almost lost my apprenticeship, switched mentors, jumped ship with everyone at the shop in June due to HORRIBLE management, and have generally been trying to survive by the skin of my teeth. Now...I know y'all don't wanna hear my sob story, so I'll cut it here.
What this means for you!!! It means I have contacted all my commissioners (except for one, whom I can't seem to find the correspondence for....Himeric? Did we ever finalize anything? I can't seem to find ANYTHING other than your name on my queue.) who are on my queue...if I somehow missed you, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I'm pretty sure I got everyone. Over the next few weeks I will be diligently working on stuff to finish it (most of my projects are more than halfway done, or close to done as it is) and then possibly opening up more commission slots, depending.
So!! I missed all you crazy furries while I was drowning off in tattoo land. I hope y'all are doing well!! I'm looking forward to getting back into my digital illustration....I sure have been drawing a crapload of skulls and roses! :P It should be a refreshing change.
Although...I may as well put it out there - if anyone wants to commission me in the future for a tattoo design, that is RIGHT up my alley. I'm good in traditional, neo traditional, bright colorful stuff, or whatever you want, really. So, uh, I'm alive and stuff.
Posted 14 years agoWell, this is something I've been putting off a little but I guess it's time for a quick update. Firstly: someone please just shake me violently until I come to my senses next time I try to engage in a relationship, mmmkay? Mmkay.
Secondly: I'm up in Sacramento early. Well, I guess 'early' is subjective since I haven't updated since...August? Yeah, beginning of August I guess. The long and short of it is this: got in a domestic dispute with ex girlfriend that led her to being in jail for a week. Moved up to Sacto quick style early August. I haven't been able to work on any digital art, seeing as how my computer is set up on a TV tray...by the couch. In my Mom's tiny one bedroom apartment. In the mean time, I've been working on that really good opportunity I touched upon cryptically - which is a tattoo apprenticeship with a very prestigious and respected artist up here. I've also been working full time, and with two days a week in the shop I have very little free time right now. I also met a girl up here, and, well....as of now it's not so fabulous, but it was when it started. I got the whole 'I need some space and time to sort out my feelings' talk yesterday. What a laugh, that one is. *sigh* Ah well.
Aaanyway! Long story short: I should be moving into my own apartment in the middle of next month, or early Jan. at the latest. Which means I can start collecting furniture (like a DESK) again, and get my life back in order. Which also means I'll have the space to continue my digital art, and will thusly get my backlog caught up with ASAP. Everyone will be getting extra goodies for being so wonderfully patient and tolerant of my whirlwind existence.
Hope y'all are doing well.

Good News, Bad News, and ...News.
Posted 14 years agoOmigosh okay. So, I moved during June since my roomies bought a house and were not keen on my critters coming with. Back I went to the ex girlfriend, we've more or less patched things up for the most part. ...long story, anyway. She didn't have the internet on and I had bills to catch up on. And then there was some craziness, girlfriend craziness, animal craziness, family craziness....all at once. Which caused me to book it outta town for two weeks, up to Sacramento on a sort of vacation/sort of family crisis type situation (not really crisis crisis, but times were strained)...and subsequently landed myself a really incredible opportunity that I'm not even going to talk about it quite yet because I will totally jinx it. But it also means I'm going back to Sactown in November, and will be there for 18 some months at least. AND THATS WHAT IVE BEEN UP TO WHEEE.
But I digress.
The Good News: I have internets at home now and a nice little mac mini to do arts on, that my mother graciously gave me. I'm itching to get commissions done and I'm in the process of sorting through some things so I can do that. I'm SUPER DUPER EXCITED about this thing going on in Sac, but...I'm just not gonna talk about it yet, shh!
The Bad News: Before going on vacation, I broke the charging port of my laptop, on the computer side. I was babying it, twisting it this way and that to get it to charge the battery and function. It was doing just fine, and I set off up north with confidence that I would get everything on it transferred over to this mac mini once I got there, and avoid utter disaster. Unfortunately for me, my plans never work so smoothly, and I should have made a recent backup (I'm bad, I made one like...over a year ago.) of my harddrive before even leaving. Because OF COURSE once I got there, it was magically fubared. I took it to a specialist friend of my Mom's, and he informed me that the broken piece was actually broken on the motherboard, too, so. No more laptop. I'm honestly amazed it even made it that long.
What does this mean for you, if you have a commission from me? Well, not quite as much as it means for me, luckily. I should have at least the last WIP I sent to everyone, and should be able to work most of them from the WIP. If however, I cannot, I will be letting you know so we can talk about a re work, or starting from scratch or whatever needs to be done.
AND NOW, I have a LOT of work to do. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or concerns!

Posted 14 years agoHey guys! Sorry to all of you still waiting on stuff. April and the last half of March were very very hectic for me. Not only have I been trying to get lots of art done, and working extra hours, but I've been working on getting my darn truck fixed....and what an adventure! Oi. I've replaced everything from the distributor cap, condenser and points and spark plugs to the coil, various belts, the battery carriage, oil filter. The list goes on. o_o And it continues! Next week will be the timing chain kit. Ooooh joy. And it STILL won't start. At this rate, it's gotta be the timing chain. X3

I'm thinking of offering a couple different new types of commissions.
1. ADOPTABLES. Other artists - how do you do with adoptables? And client base - are you guys interested in adoptables from me? From the way I've seen this works, an artist draws up some wicked character designs, and sells them, at which point buyer receives a larger character image, and the 'rights' to the character as their own. I'm thinking of offering mythical beasties like gryphons, dragons, unicorns, etc. Also considering making PONY (as in, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic style) adoptables. I haven't worked out all the details yet, but..... interest? y/n?
2. BUNDLES. I'm thinking of offering 1, and 2 character sort of 'Mega Bundles', which would include two icons, 1 (or maybe 2) sketch(es), no background, a flat color sketch with no background, and a full detail sketch w/background with detailed color for a price I have not determined yet. It would be a slight discount from the total that one would pay if purchasing all these things separately, but around the neighborhood of 75-100 depending on number of characters. Again.....interest? Feedback? :3

Posted 15 years agoSo, a short time ago (last Friday) I turned 26. :) It was awesome! Didn't really do anything super special except made the most delicious cupcakes ever. And worked.
Woo! :P For my birthday my awesome friend and roomie got me a HUGE pikachu yellow dresser. (It doesn't HAVE pikachu on it, just the same color! It's bright.) I LOVE IT. :)

instead im going to make a half joking journal entry from my phone, taking applications for a....lets say lesbian friend since im so fed up with relationships. Looking for a sort of email buddy....actually really looking for a fellow female socal (high desert area) fur to get to know and possibly hang out with. I dont like drama, control freaks, jealous types, explosive tempers, ego, or materialistic people. Im concerned about kindness, honesty, integrity, curiosity for the natural world, the seeking of enlightenment and higher mental planes of thinking. Must be an animal lover (not THAT kind tho), huge plus if vegan, and i get along well with scorpios, cancers, virgos, and some libras. As well as year of the dragon, rat, monkey, or tiger. No roosters need apply :p
if anyone lke this even exists.....somebody leave me a memo X3

Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog is the best movie ever. I think I've watched it (or rather, listened to it while I worked) like at least 15 times in the past couple months.
I want to be Neil Patrick Harris when I grow up!
With my freezeray I will stop the pain....it's not a deathray or an icebeam that's all Johnny Snow...I just think you need time to know...that *I'm* the guy to make you feel, the feelings you don't dare to feel. I'll bend the world to our will, and we'll make time stand still.....!
That's the plan.

Quick Update
Posted 15 years agoHey guys! I know it's been a while, and I still haven't finished everyone's art. But I'm getting things together and getting to the point where I can.
Things have been suuuuper busy for me. I quit my old job and have a new one, and I've been working for my girlfriend's brother helping him advertise for his small business. We've been getting the house together, taking care of the critters, and working really hard. I have some things going on on the side that I'm not going to talk about yet, lest I jynx my chances of success....but it's going to be big, and lead to my future career, and I'll probably talk about it in a few more months. I'm really really excited, but it's going to take up practically all of my free time once I get it going over the next few months. It's already taking up a lot of my time. Oi.
Since I've last been on here, I've patched things up with my girl and we're doing much better. I've gone on an 800 mile road-trip by myself to see my family, quit one job and got another, re-arranged practically the whole house, finished the landscaping, and ...just otherwise worked hard and continuing to do so, trying to stay on top of Life in General.
Thank you all for your kind words on my last entry. I'm doing okay now and I'm /really/ hoping I can get back into the art swing soon. I just have NO time right now. :( I hope you all are doing well, and my eternal thanks for being so patient. I WILL get you all your art, I promise!

Gone for a while
Posted 15 years agoI can't believe my last time on FA was 5 months ago.... jesus.
My life is completely fucked up right now. I've been trying to work things out with Katy for the last few months... everytime I think they are getting better, they just take a turn for a worse. This isn't the first time she's told me to leave... It will probably be the last. How can you love someone, uncontrollably, and still function after they put you down everyday? After they tell you their love for you was a "decision" when yours for them was an undeniable force. I guess we're just too different, but it doesn't make this any easier...
I don't know what to do. I have no idea what to do. I just know I can't take it anymore. This is too painful. She hates me too much. I'm not up to her standards. I keep hoping everyday that things will change... but I'm realizing they wont. They can't...
I don't even know what else to say. I'm really, really sorry to the people still waiting for your art. I've wasted an entire fucking year with this girl and it's gotten me nowhere except deeper into depression and debt. I'll be contacting commissioners when I get back from... wherever I'm going, for continued art or to issue refunds when I have the money. I'm really sorry. I'm sure a lot of you are regretting commissioning me and I feel really fucking bad about it.
For once in my life, I just want to do something right. I just want to do something right....

I'm feeling really bitter right now, so. :/ I'm still living with her - I guess she considers me her "best friend" hah. The second time I've been told that this year. But whatever. I'm thinking there really isn't anyone out there for me anyway, and I'm going to just be old and jaded and bitter. :P Forever.

I actually moved a lot sooner than I expected, fell in love, and I've been busy settling in, getting my stuff over here, going to work, keeping up with the house, etc. I've also left my tablet pen back at my old place, but we're making an excursion up there today to retrieve it, and the rest of my items that escaped the first round of moving.

I had intended not to take anymore sketch commissions, but I'm opening up one more round for now. I'm going to omit the choice of a background, since that has been the primarily time-consuming part of the sketch process. I'm also going to up my prices a little, since I'm working for like less than 3$ an hour, which is even worse than my menial slave-labor job. D:

All that said, usual rules apply. I'll do adult stuff, but nothing too squicky, no cub/underage or watersports. Pretty much everything else is fair game. PLEASE take a look at my gallery to get an idea of what I'm good/not so good at so you're not asking me for something I can't accomplish.
I might also note that since my life has been fairly busy, you may be waiting UP TO a month, two tops. I will not make you wait longer than that.

Firstly, I'd like to address something that, though perhaps it's kinda silly, I still wanna address it. I'm switching 'pursonas' you could say. I'm more or less shelfing my fox character, Fareme, as just that - a character. I find myself 'fitting' her less and less these days. So, lately I've adopted my rat, Danni, as my online pursona/avatar/whathaveyou. I'd *like* for people to refer to me as Danni, as opposed to Fareme, but I won't mind either way really. If you're very used to calling me Fareme or 'Reme or whatever variation of that name you call me, that is fine. I like Danni though, and I'm also going to switch my pen-name to Danni.
Aaaanywho! That aside, sketch commission teims!

Posted 16 years agoHey guys, sorry for the absence this past week. o.o I was away from home unexpectedly since Valentine's Day, just got back er.. Tuesday? And I've been sick. D: Argh. Spent most of last night recycling the contents of my stomach and praying for death. Hah. I'm feeling slightly better now, and I'm going to get back on the art ball hopefully today and tomorrow (SO calling off work tomorrow. ergh) so y'all should have your sketches shortly. As for other stuffs... I'm sure a few of you have already gathered, but unfortunately my girl and I broke up. :C She wants to just be friends, and that's cool I guess, yanno?
I'm still planning on getting up to Washington eventually, though I'll be giving myself much more time now. In the meantime, I /really/ need a car, so that's going to be what I'm saving up for in the immediate future. A car means I could possibly weasel out a second job, and that would be Very Good.

Washington, moving, CHEAP sketch commissions, and etc.
Posted 17 years agoHey guys! Long time no journal here. Oops. :P Guess I should more or less catch you all up. Back in November my boyfriend and I broke up, and moved our separate ways. That was all the OMG CRAZY that was going on. Oi, what an ordeal.
Anyway! I've been staying elsewhere, and doing mostly alright. Money is extremely tight, as I'm getting crap for hours at work, since I transferred stores. I'm considering getting a second job, but that's going to take some work in itself, and an entire 'nother story.
Over my birthday last week, I was purchased a ticket to Washington to see my girlfriend for five days. It was totally awesome! I completely fell in love with Washington, and I'm determined to move up there. ASAP, though I'm shooting for six months, realistically. If I can pull it off sooner, I surely will. But in the meantime, I have final bills I need to pay from my ordeal, debts I need to pay on, a car to save for, and not to mention the cost of the move itself. I'm looking at an impossibly huge sum of money and it's overwhelming. Calculating the maximum of what I could save from now till April from just my checks at work, it's a dismal and laughable amount for what I need to do. Working part-time SUCKS.
SO. Since I have so much to do, I'm going to be opening up SUPER CHEAP SKETCH COMMISSIONS, indefinitely.
So, if you want a nice sketch, and want to help a fox get back to the love of her life, now's the time! :P

Just a quick note to say that my life is utterly and completely upside down right now. I haven't had net access since before Halloween, and I have no idea when I will have it again. I'm just at a wifi spot at a smoothie place right now checking my email.
So anyway, erf, sorry guys! If I owe you arts, you should be hearing from me shortly. If you don't, sorry - I will get to everything when I can but unfortunately RL has just completely de-railed me and I have to get my life in order before I can sit down online again. :/ It's nothing life-threatening, and I'm still alive and all, just.. ergh.
