Posted 12 years agoI'm kind of back! Doing some actual art and trying to be more active about posting it. I work mostly in vector these days.
Other news: I've graduated! I now have a Bachelor's in Economics.

Posted 14 years agoHey guys o u o so I am kind of new around here. I mean, I've had this account for awhile but I've always used it just to lurk. But last night I decided to actually upload some of my older pieces.
I don't do journals on art sites really (I mean I never found a use for them on dA, so I suspect it will be the same here?) but I figured I would just throw up some info about myself here.
You can call me by my username, or my real name, Tod. I've been sewing plushes for about two years now. I'm still developing my skills but it's fun and I think I'm pretty good at it c: I'm starting to branch out now into other sewing projects as well, right now I'm hemming a scarf, and I'm going to try my hand at fleece hats as well.
I get my fleece from Joanne Fabrics, and my minky from Minky Delight Fabrics. My favorite place to get safety/snap eyes is Suncatcher Eyes.
I also do some 2D art, especially digital. I've been drawing for longer but have been spending most of my time these days sewing, so I've kind of fallen behind on my 2D art. I just draw for fun these days so it's not a big deal to me. I also do pixel art occasionally.
As for more about who I am...I'm a 21-year-old college student in the US. I'm a Economics/Psychology double-major with an unofficial concentration in Statistics. I'm hoping to get out of the country for graduate school, hopefully up to Canada or over to the UK. I speak some German (enough to hold a conversation or read a YA book) and a little bit of Mandarin Chinese, and have visited both countries.
I am a queer trans guy and an activist; I've been called an extremist. I don't hate cis/straight people though, I promise c: I am a very friendly kind of extremist!
Hmmm, what else...oh, I do have two fursonas, but I haven't finished any art of them yet. Maybe I will soon, now that I'm actually posting stuff. One is a raccoon, and the other (that this account is named for) is a deer.
One last thing! If I do not thank you for a fave, watch, or comment, please do not take it personally. Thanking people in general is not something that comes naturally to me, so I've never got the hang of it on art sites for these sorts of things. I try to remember to do it but more often than not, I just completely forget. So please know I do appreciate all indications that you like my work! Thank you so much! c:
