Posted 7 years agoI recently remembered something from decades ago, and I mean this almost literally. It's from something that happened more than 10 maybe 15 years ago, a memory I had long forgotten and as I remembered it certain things clicked and its began to unravel a whole lot of things for me. Although I see this as an epiphany there are things still that I don't understand about it and am coming slowly into terms.
I hope I can share this as soon as possible because I myself want to be comfortable with this. It's not something super weird and it definitely does not rival the things I've seen in this page but it certainly is strange enough for me to feel slightly uncomfortable about it.

He however is related to my Video Game departments attempt at being recognized. The character is for a fighting game our department is making and its been a fun experience so far; hectic but enjoyable

I was not as close to them but my great grandfather’s death was somewhat hard hitting. He already had Alzheimer’s for the longest so I didn’t get to know him as much as my older family members. However it was really hard to see my grandma (his daughter) so sad and crying for so long.

New found purpose
Posted 7 years agoQuick Journal since I'm sleepy af, I had recently met with an old church friend and had talked about him a lot regarding movies and what we are, or in his case, want to study. We shared ideas and interests and then I ended up showing him the goblins and at first I was thinking of a way to segway into that kind of topic casually so it weren't awkward when I realized something.

Posted 7 years agoHello there abyss that I call my journals, may you bring as much insight about myself as I would want you to provide me with.
I've been really lonely lately. I mean not physically lonely, I see my girlfriend all the time and I have friends in my Uni. I mean I feel lonely because of this little world I have made for myself in Fur Affinity. I've never felt so free from the world but at the same time I wish I didn't have this freedom. What I mean to say is that I can feel true to myself here yet I can't show who I am with the real world without shame.
I can't really talk to my friends without my Goblins being some sort of joke. I get it, i know its weird but I feel like they would just rather be off with me if I did not draw it. I only legitimately feel close to two of my friends cause they themselves draw nsfw art all the time, I barely get to see them though. I think the part that hurts the most is not being able to feel pride in it as much as I would want to. Like "Hey I just talked with a really good artists I've been following for a while!!" or "Yo my drawing got 5 favorites!!!" its more like I'm telling this to myself. I always tend to be very excited for things that happen to my friends and I hear them out but when it's me its as if they just want to get the conversation over with.

Posted 7 years agoI've been really enjoying writing smut for certain drawings that I feel have a context behind them. It kinda strains me to write them but I feel like it improves the drawing and it makes me expose myself more as writer as well. I think I have way to many aspirations for my drawings to become big eventually, at least big enough for me to make a living out of them. I really hope digital drawing boosts up views and watchers in the coming months, I really don't want to get a summer job and hinder the progress I have made in this site.

Posted 7 years agoIt's so strange for me to draw in public as of late. I mostly draw sfw drawings but because of fur affinity I've been drawing Goblins in all sorts of nsfw ways.
Like I feel open enough to show my friends but sometimes I feel like even they would wish for me to not draw in public.
I really wish nsfw art were more appreciated and less of a taboo, imagine were we would be right now if sex and fetishes weren't such a difficult subject to talk about. I hope the barrier that exists ceases in the coming decades.
On a more positive note one of my favorite sfw/nsfw artists :Delicatessen: gave me a shout after I gave him one <3. Big artists like him that take their time to give an unknown artist like me the simplest of replies brings me so much joy and has definitely made my day

Gone Goblin, day 16A hard day's night
Posted 7 years agoDamn, today was such a difficult day for me. Although I have only written 2 Journals I've noticed that I have felt extremely confident in writing them for you furrs to see and comfortable enough for my friends (If they check it out) to see it. So yeah I guess this might be a sort of web diary from now on.
Today I had a major argument with two of my friends, and I'm sad to think that our relationship might be very broken. I don't believe friendships can be cut out. Maybe its my latino blood kicking in making my head hard as fuck. I just simply don't believe that bonds can be severed... but after tonight I do believe that sometimes friendships can't go back to what they once were. I don't know what the other persons are thinking of me nor do I know what they think I think of them.
I don't know if being the person that I am is both a hinderance or a blessing; I don't know if both of my friends's personalities are these two either. I don't know where this is gonna lead and I am terrified as anyone else would be.
If you are reading this and are also going through or have gone through a similar experience please know that although as I am writing this I do not know how things will end I promise you that you will be able to go through it and it will all work out in the end for the better. Life always rewards the champions of its greatest obstacles.

Posted 7 years agoToday I met a fellow furry in the oddest and funniest of ways.
So like as I was posting and checking this account this morning some friends were talking with some other friends of theirs that I don't know and one of them passes by me, glances at my computer and calls me "furrfag". I immediately laugh and don't really think about it. But then I wonder, how then fuck did this guy KNOW about this page just by glancing at my pc which mind you it was only displaying the gray background and info I was writing for one of my drawings?
So he comes back I tell him exactly this and he's like "Lmao yeah I'm a furry" COOL FUCKING BEANS! I obviously LOVE meeting new furry especially if its furries that go to my UNI we talk a lot and he's super chill and fun to talk to, as we talk someone hears of our conversation and yes ANOTHER FURRFAG OMG THIS DAY CANNOT GET BETTER. I'm glad I decided to open this site out in my uni, I feel more confident knowing that I am not alone.
[QUICK HOPEFULLY SHORT EDIT] My day did not end completely well, as I was browsing the site just right now i stumbled upon such a great artist with so many amazing pieces and it broke me completely, he has such few views and favorites and I felt like fucking crying man. If you ever see an artist that is not doing as well as they should you should ALWAYS encourage them to keep doing what they love and support them. I know what it feels like as much as everyone knows how it feels like to be just "another" artist in a sea full of many other artists. It never hurts nor is it hard to favorite their pieces and comment on what you like about them to give an artist confidence and happiness. I will never not fight for artists who are under appreciated, we all deserve love and support.

Posted 7 years agoI've had a really hard time at first in regards to drawing Goblins. Like it felt so great and empowering to draw them but a side of me fell ashamed for coming up with the weird ideas and scenarios for them. I'm a really closed person in regards to shame cause I believe and always teach my friends to not be ashamed of who they are. But to be real I feel so alone when I draw these creatures. Since I started this account I've gained so much confidence and I'm excited to see what the future lies in store. I really do hope it ain't too cringe or selfish for me to write these kinds of things in public.
